Amelia grunted as she hit the ground after throwing out her arm to reduce the shock from the fall. She quickly rolled, using the explosion from the grenade to cover her movements as she sprinted into the cover of a low wall. Her chest hammered as adrenaline coursed through her veins, her mind focused from beyond the tinted glasses as she frantically looked between targets, making plans and strategies in accordance to the training she'd been given before the world had fallen apart. She scoped in over her cover, firing off a few shots here and there before moving back in again as bullets pinged off the other side of the wall. She looked over to Daniel, thinking before taking out something she'd been saving for a while which might allow her to close some distance. "Daniel!" she called, waiting to have his attention before throwing a Nine Bang flash grenade over to him. It was risky and could very easily backfire, but it was worth a shot considering the fire fight and high risk of someone being fatally wounded. "Make it count!" she yelled before she fired a few more shots, breaking from cover to find herself a better position.
Very interested ^^
She observed the tiger once more for a moment as he spoke, the strategic part of her mind which couldn't rest thinking and wondering of what his intention was. Of course she was sure there was nothing malicious involved. But the interest in finding out was there regardless. She took a moment to look around, thinking she should probably stay and meet with the other members of her new unit before she checked the time, deciding there would still be time for that. She met Oliver's gaze and smiled, "Sounds good to me, and I wouldn't worry about that, if we get caught I'll give the whole 'innocently got lost' speech" she joked before she picked up her PADD, stepping off her stool before she moved towards the door, her steps measured and neat while her tail carried elegantly behind her. Despite her role and the stereotype behind her job, she'd managed to keep the femininity about her appearance, something which could be difficult considering the fitness requirements for a pilot which for allot of the female pilots meant stacking on muscle. But Amelia had kept herself slender, toned and generally more matched for speed than strength. Also being the species of Fox had went a long way in that development. She would wait for Oliver to take the lead, as she still didn't know her way around the large Landcruiser.
Well I posted. It's a bad post but it's all I can do with the information given.
Annabelle's form transformed into a beautiful crystal clear diamond form, the lights catching and reflecting a prism of color you could see within the minerals if you looked hard enough. As she landed on the other side it appeared she'd been ported slightly away from the others, something that happened occasionally and something she'd need to report to Techno so he could take a look at it again. Although honestly he likely already noticed. She turned around to see two slightly stunned looking prisoners that looked too each other momentarily before one blasted her with a plume of fire which washed across her form. When the flames dissipated she took a step forwards before stating, "You have no idea how much trouble you're in..." she said telepathically before she lunged forwards, uppercutting the one with Pyromancy in the stomach so hard that he was taken off his feet into the air before she grabbed the other and threw him into the other who was now falling. sending them both flying down the hall. She waited to see if they got up again before she opened up her COM using her mind, "Techno, this is Diamond. I'm in but I've been dropped away from the others, how about playing GPS for me?" she asked as she checked around for more prisoners.
I know that, but I assume we're there. So, like, where are we?
I'm really not sure where I even am anymore. It all jumped so quickly...
Amelia finished off her glass of wine as Oliver spoke, placing the glass behind her water before it was collected by the barkeep. She flashed the barkeep a soft smile of thanks before returning her attention to Oliver. So he'd joined after having served a prison sentence, not unheard of in the military but certainly something you didn't hear allot. She cocked her head to the side, some of her sunset colored hair sliding off her shoulder as she observed him again for a moment after he finished speaking, meeting his gaze as she processed his story. She guessed his finishing humor was more a cover to a more real reason behind his choice, but she decided not to call him on it. "I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss that choice" she began, taking a moments pause before continuing, "It's the choices we make that define the people we become. You could have chosen many paths, paths that could have lead you down deeper and harsher roads. But instead you chose to be here, showing you have potential and sitting among gifted pilots" she said before smiling a little more, "We can't change our past, but we can make our futures" she finished.

She was about to ask him a question about what he planned to do when they were given some leave before her holo tablet chimed. Amelia looked to it before clicking out a small device from the side and attaching it to her ear. "Excuse me one moment" she said before looking to the floor as she appeared to be listening to something. She nodded, responding with what seemed to be a few specifications about Sovereign, followed by directions on where to find certain access points. "The auto loader needs to be well oiled and the bearings need checking every time it's serviced..." she said before nodding again. "Thank you" she finished before taking the device from her ear and replacing it into the tablet. "Sorry about that, the Engineers aren't used to this model of ATAM" she said before remembering something, "Oh, my name is Amelia by the way. I forget that I only gave you my last name" she said before adding, "Amy is also fine".
Unlike some of the others, Annabelle didn't grab any weapons from the armory room as all she stored there was her mercenary suits among other clothing items. Sometimes she might use some of the gear they stored there, but it was a rarity considering her powers which made using GEAR a bit of a hassle, besides with her powers she had no use for weapons. She still remembers the time when she tried to use a pair of night vision goggles which snapped off her head when her hair turned to solid diamond. As she grabbed her suit from her locker she shrugged that thought away, closing the locker again before getting changed in one of the stalls, overhearing the conversation between Rob and Xyl. She would emerge a few minutes latter, tugging the material around her wrists so it fit more comfortably before she smirked towards the two. "You'll have to play for second place..."she teased before she'd join everyone at the portal. Unlike the suits owned by the others, her's was made from a reactive synthetic which allowed the suit to transform with her powers, meaning it wouldn't be torn or ruined upon activation of her powers. All of her clothes had to be designed this way, which made shopping for new clothes a real headache.

That isn't me being rude, if I was being rude I would have insulted Bweoti's intelligence, would have mentioned that Bweoti's parents would be ashamed of him, if Bweoti is male I would insult the size of his penis, or any number of other things. Not an acceptable excuse.

That's called an insult. You were being rude. And as Kaalee said, the world doesn't work by your standards. It's ok to point out a mistake, because then they can improve themselves and their writing. But only if you do it in the right way.
