And I am not against , I just think its blown out of proportion at the moment.

It was hard for me to get the balance. It's only the first post where it's naturally going to be more concentrated in terms of indicating the survival rate. The reason most of them don't make it is because allot of people who selected the class, did so for a challenge knowing they'd likely have some failures and respawns along the way. Of course none of them were prepared that they would be confronted with a situation where one death is all they're permitted. So naturally allot of them began falling as the learning curve and difficulty was just too much. The ones that remain have survived from those who have died by learning from the mistakes they made.

Example:

Alessia's friends fell in a fight due to mistakes made in how they plaid the class. Having unfortunately observed this, she is now better prepared as she knows how not to play the class.

Anyway, that's about as depressing as it will get in terms of my posts, it was just the initial 'blagh' to get it all across.
Not hopeless, just unlikely. I want to exaggerate the survival percentage of those under this class. If you've ever played Dark Souls, that's the kind of damage you'd be taking. If you get hit a few times your life bar is toast. But, if you can dodge, evade and block at the right moments and learn the enemies attack patterns, you'll be able to keep yourself away from damage. It's sort of like walking the fine line between a win or a lose.
And posted. It's not a great post, but I was never great at introduction posts.

Aeternus || Nexus

~"It is by faith that poetry, as well as devotion, soars above this dull earth; that imagination breaks through it's clouds, breathes a purer air, and lives in a softer light"~

Among the many players which walked around the small virtual town of Nexus, Alessia was one of the few who were looked upon as a lost cause or doomed to failure. She was a person who no one would expect to make it out of this tragic situation with her life. Of course It was no secret that Imperial Knights were a tough class due to their weak damage threshold and it was because of this that very few were now left alive. Most had fallen within the first day and not even to very tough enemies. For an Imperial Knight it would be the moment you got stunned that you would feel that horrifying pause and watch helplessly as the virtual enemy struck you again, tearing your life from your mortal core. She had already witnessed a few cases of this, her friends in fact. They had started this game together and had chosen the same class so they could pair up and explore the world with a more challenging experience. But they were gone now, and she was among the few who remained of this doomed class.

She could see it in their eyes as they passed her in the street, that look of empathy or sadness when they saw what she already knew. That there was a strong chance she wouldn't see home again. It was time she started coming to terms with that. Even trying to join up with other parties was difficult, sure she had a ton of damage output which was valuable in initiating engagements or taking down tougher enemies. But quite a few would turn away from a player who they would expect would only get killed, becoming unreliable. Alessia looked up at the sky as these thoughts crossed her mind, causing a soft sigh to escape her lips as she walked through the towns center, her sword kept diagonally across her back due to the sheer size of it. A couple of assassin class players walked by her, turning back to look at her. One looked like he was about to say something before the other placed a hand on his shoulder, shaking his head before they continued on their way.

It wasn't all bad though. For example the Lantern Festival was tonight and if it was anything that Alessia appreciated it was the beauty of lights casting a canvass across the night sky. "Excuse me miss" spoke a voice from her left, causing her to snap from her thoughts as she focused on who was addressing her. A young girl who seemed far too young to be playing this game looked up at her, "I know this isn't much, but me and my friends want you to have this" she said, holding up a lantern with a smile. Alessia looked passed the girl to a group she seemed to belong too who gave waved in her direction. She gave a small wave back before she knelt down to be at the same level as the girl, returning her attention to her. She placed her hands gently on the lantern, bringing it down between them, "What's your name?" she asked softly. The girl paused for a moment before she spoke "Cecilia!" she replied. Alessia gave a small smile, "Well met Cecilia, my name is Alessia" she replied before continuing, "Is this your lantern?" she asked. Cecilia nodded once, "I managed to take down a wolf in the Mystic Wood with my brothers and we bought one each with the reward money" she said with a clear tone of pride.

Alessia smiled and have a small chuckle, "Then I think you should be the one to release it, don't you think?" she asked, the young girl looking down for a moment before meeting her gaze again. "My brothers said you don't have allot of time, they said Imperial Knights don't last long in this game... we wanted to give you this so you could enjoy the festival..." she said sadly, looking down again. Alessia continued to smile and placed a hand on her shoulder as she replied, the girl looking up again as she spoke, "I'm tougher then I look, don't worry about me" she said before leaning in to whisper to her, "Between you and me, I'm on a secret mission. I'm actually a very high level" she said before leaning back. The young girl beamed, "Really?! that's great!" she said happily before Alessai raised her hand in a quieting gesture, "You must keep it a secret, it's top secret ok?" she replied, the young girl giving a determined nod in reply. "Now you should keep your lantern, you've earned it. It's only fair you should release it at the festival" she said before standing up. Cecilia smiled, "Thanks miss Alessia, hopefully we'll see you again?" she asked. Alessia simply smiled and replied, "I hope so". The young girl grinned before running back to her brothers. She watched her go before turning and continuing on her way.
Double post.
Real Life Name: Alessia Winter
Soul Story Name: Winter
Age: 23
Gender: Female
Weapon: Buster Sword
Weapon Name: The Sapphire of the ocean
Class:

Imperial Knight - A class built specifically to deal staggering damage to opponents as well as fast paced speed attacks. This class combines speed and strength into a strong offense, however users of this class are unable to use armor effectively meaning damage inflicted upon this class user will suffer greatly for their mistake. To put it simply, users of this class should avoid getting hit at all costs, especially when confronted with an enemy who carries a stun attack as multiple hits can and will usually be fatal. This class is designed for players who are adept at avoiding damage by use of parries, blocks or dodging and is recommended for players who are used to this type of play strategy.

Soul Attack:

Sovereign - The user begins to glow white, illuminating the area around them as the blade supercharges in strength, speed and damage. The user can then deliver a single slash which will cut anything the slash is aimed at even if the user is not in range, does not hit or the blade is too small to cut through the object. This is because the sheer damage and power manifestation causes the air which licks from the slash to travel onward to cut through anything and anyone. Once the attack is over the aura will dissipate.

Skills:

Gunblade - The revolver at the blades hilt charge with mana, firing mana projectiles at the cost of [5SP] per shot. They don't deal a great amount of damage making them a support attack or a ranged attack on weaker enemies. Alessia will flick her blade onto her left shoulder and pull on the trigger, using her shoulder as a rest to aim and steady her shots.

Hundred Caliber Rifle - An advanced attack of the Gunblade technique, the weapon will supercharge and deliver a singular shot with much more damage at the cost of [40SP] the equivalent of eight shots in a single round with a large amount if Armour piercing damage.

Death Stroke - Alessia will jump into the air and begin spinning forwards with her sword towards the enemy like a spinning razor blade. The blade will generate a red glow to indicate this attack.

Grim Reapers Sprint - Alessia will charge at a group of opponents delivering many fast singular attacks at a staggering speed. She'll pass through the group as if running passed them before stopping, a second latter the physical reality of the movement will take place as the cuts from the blade begin to release upon the targets in her wake as if the cuts were delayed somehow. The longer she remains in this state the more taxing it is on her mana as the move requires it to reinforce her speed.

Avatar Appearance:

Personality:

Alessia is somewhat quiet if not observant of everything which happens around her. Some who have traveled with her note her to take herself too seriously sometimes or to be a little hard to get along with due to her unwillingness to get to know people too in depth. This however can change when and if you can find something you can share in common with her, other than the obvious of course. Alessia, despite her flaws in communication is incredibly loyal and will be unwavering in situations which involve the protection and safety of those she cares about, however few they may be. Despite her lack of social skills she can also sometimes be found to have a conversation, especially if she gets to know you or likes you. It all depends on you and if she judges you to be a person worth knowing better. One might say that's pretty stuck up, but to her it's simply a way of protecting herself. After all if someone is a fool, she wont expect them to live very long and so wont allow herself to get attached to them. But that's just one example. Alessia does like to have fun sometimes and will even enjoy time to relax, again it all depends on the people she is with. Last to note is that she does have a temper, however it is hard to provoke and will rarely be seen. If she is upset with someone she is more likely to ignore them and walk away than argue a confrontation, push her too far however and you'll find yourself on the end of a lecture of which will involve her scolding you badly. Her greatest strength is her resolve, she is incredibly persistent and will stop at nothing to achieve a goal set either by herself or someone she would consider a friend. Her biggest weakness is fear, which can sometimes make her hesitate or disengage from a fight if she isn't confident a victory can be found, this isn't common and can be negated if she has friends around her to boost her confidence.
Gonna post. I'm not sure who is where so feel free to engage her if you want.
Alright. I'll make a post in a few hours. I need to catch some sleep :)
Yay! thanks ^^

Now I need to figure out how to integrate.
