Alessia blinked as she simply didn't understand and the lack of response from the little girl hadn't made her any wiser to the situation. She exhaled deeply before standing, looking to the man as he offered the girl a shirt. Alessia would have offered her cloak, but if the girl accepted the shirt then there wouldn't be any need for it. She gave a simple nod, "That would be the best bet, I'll gladly take her myself and see if I can find them" she replied before once again looking to the little girl. She looked unhappy and frustrated with something, which made Alessia ever more curious to how and why she ended up here with no clothes on, and with a dead fish. Alessia offered another smile, "Ordinarily I would say you shouldn't trust strangers, but we need to find your parents. My name is Alessia, I'm a Knight from a place far from here and I'd like to help you, ok?" she said softly, keeping her tone calm and clear. She offered the little girl her hand, "Will you come with me?" she asked. Maybe if she could gain the girls trust, she might be able to get some more information from her about how she ended up here and where she came from.
Alessia 's eyes flickered towards the next man to appear, her hand gently gliding to rest upon the hilt of her sword beneath her cloak. She once again returned her attention to the young girl, feeling her upset tug at her empathy. She once again looked to the two men before she slowly and calmly walked over to the girl, taking a knee to crouch beside her. The girl held a fish in her hands, one that didn't look nor smell in good condition. Perhaps it had been a pet, or perhaps the young girl was still attempting to come to terms with the way of life and death, neither was a favourable option for the young girl to deal with. Alessia reached up and pulled back her hood, revealing her red hair and amethyst eyes as she smiled softly to the young girl, "Was this a friend of yours?" she asked curiously, approaching the subject gently. She ignored the man's brazen comment, instead placing a hand upon the girls shoulder to reassure her against his blatant disregard for her feelings.
It had been many moons since she'd left the grand city of Tula Fey, sent away with a task to find information about the worlds current condition. Guójiā De Huǒ had always managed to keep itself out of war, it's luscious vast lands surrounded by large mountains which secluded it from the rest of the world. But it seemed the great mountains were no longer going to be able to lock out the quarrels of the rest of the world, and so it would be down to the Elemental Knights to seek out where each nation stood in the conflict. This way Guójiā De Huǒ would at least be prepared for what might come. This was the reason Alessia was here, travelling on this dirt road path towards a village in hopes of finding a place she could rest for a while before heading onwards. She wore a red cloak with a hood, the cloak fastened with a small golden broach that represented a flame. She kept the hood up for now, using it as some shade so that she wouldn't have to squint in the presence of the sun.

During her walk Alessia stopped, her brows knitting together a little as she picked up the sounds of something rather unpleasant, a young girl crying. She looked around for a moment, wondering if the source of the noise could be seen before she eventually began to move towards it. Of course it could have easily have been a trap set up by roadside bandits but that was nothing she couldn't get herself out of if it came down to it. Eventually Alessia found herself at the side of a river bank, the sounds of running water and birds chirping creating a pleasing orchestra of peace she'd come to adore in areas such as this. But of course such beautiful music would have to wait, for a young girl appeared to be making a song of her own, a sombre sound of loss which Alessia had been all too familiar with. A man also appeared to be with her, although from the looks of it they were not born from the same family. She would not assume this though, not at least without asking first.

Alessia took a few steps closer before she stopped, "What's going on here?" she asked in an even, soft tone. She kept her face shadowed under her hood for now, her eyes watching the man carefully in case there was more here than what she could already see.
Amelia - Auto Garage - James/Polyester/Daniel/Shannon

Amelia nodded before she straightened herself up, checking herself over to make sure she was ready. "Get yourselves geared up and ready, and take those communicators too" she said before she took out her orange tinted glasses, putting them on and blinking a few times for her pupils to adjust to the assisted vision it provided. "We've got a long day ahead of us" she added with a sigh before she turned and walked to the door, opening it and checking outside to make sure it was clear. Amelia still had a long way to go before she'd be able to turn off the soldier inside and relax a bit around these guys.

Amelia seemed not to pay much attention as the two disagreed with each other, focusing on the map while they spoke. She placed her finger onto the map, tracing it along a road which lead to the mall before her eyes would flicker between various locations that lined the path. "If the mall is too densely populated then getting in and out wont be possible. However, that's assuming we walk through the front door" she said as she continued inspecting the map. She pointed her finger at the mall's employee car park before tapping her finger, "However if we take a back entrance into it, we might avoid the denser areas where we'll be given a window in which to get in and out before the walkers notice us and start making a move..." she continued. "It's risky, but it can be done. At the least we could check it out, judge it and call it. If it's too risky, we can bypass the mall here" she said, pointing to a side street which went around the mall, "And head up to where the police station is, which might hold some extra ammunition and medical supplies" she said before standing back, looking between them for opinions.
I asked for Alessia to be neutral because Guójiā De Huǒ is a secluded land in the mountains. And the Elemental Knights are out trying to find where each nation stands in regards to the building tensions between sides. Tis the only reason :)

Amelia nodded towards Shannon, "We can sort that when we get back" she said in response to her comment about getting cleaned up. The days moved faster now, and with Daniels sister held by people they couldn't trust it was imperative they didn't waste a day. She moved up beside Shannon as she took out a map and began reading it, once again nodding in agreement as Shannon spoke, "She's right we can discuss the infiltration after we stack our resources, besides some medical equipment would be a must if one of us get's hurt" she continued, giving a small smile with a roll of her eyes at Shannon's small quip about them being bad asses. "So a mall? could be valuable. Are you sure it's thinned enough for us to get through?" she asked, referring to how dense the walker population was in that area.
Amelia - Auto Garage - Morning

It had been a quiet morning, save for the noises from the very real monsters that bumped in the night. She'd done a few patrols of the building to keep herself awake and alert, checking in case any walkers had strayed close to the garage. But alas there were none, and so Amelia had returned to sitting on a chair with her carbine resting against her leg. When Shannon awoke and found her she offered her a small smile, "Well, thank you" she replied in her thick London accent. Amy had her armour back on now as well as her glasses just in case something had happened and she needed to be ready, but there was also another reason. She peered over as Daniel spoke, "Good morning" she replied before she stood and stretched her back, picking up the carbine and tossing it over onto her back. "Well, based on how many people we have here now. I can estimate we'll run out of food and drink in a week with very strict rationing. So I suggest we go see what we can find" she said, looking between Shannon and Daniel.
Shannon, Daniel & Amelia - Back to the Garage - Polyester & James ~Collab Post~

“You should have said yes, Daniel.”

Shannon opened the passenger side door and hopped into the truck. She put her arm over the back of the seat and looked across at Daniel. “But I’m glad you decided to go back. I’m way too exhausted.” She looked toward Polyester who hopped into the back seat and smiled. “Soon, you’ll meet the other two.”

“Yeah well I think he’s eighteen and possibly too optimistic.” Daniel climbed into the driver’s side of the cab and turned on the ignition. He pulled around and turned away from the kid, heading back up the street towards the crossroads. He turned back left and continued towards the autogarage. “Glove compartment; in the back. There’s a map of the city. Get it out and find where the street and the railroad meet.”

Shannon nodded and opened the glove compartment. She frowned as she fished through and found the map a few moments later. “Okay, so, uh…” Her eyes scanned the map, reminding Shannon that she really didn’t know New Orleans much at all. “Could you pass me a light?” she asked, her frown deepening. Daniel took one hand off the wheel to pass Shannon a flashlight. She mumbled a thanks and resumed looking at the map. After a few minutes of silence, she said, “Mmhm, I think I got it. Do you want me to show you now or later?”

Daniel searched for a minute, checking his pockets. He then reached down to the door compartment and placed his hand and a black pen, offering it to Shannon. “Circle it.”

“Will do.” She took the pen and circled the location on the map. She continued looking at the map for a few more moments before she found the auto garage. Or at least, until she thought she found it. “Man, James won’t like what we have to tell him.”

“Pardon?” Daniel asked briefly. “What would James have to dislike?”

“Well… Your sister-”

“Emma.”

Shannon paused, unsure if she should even continue. “Yes, Emma. I guess I really did shoot at her. I’m sorry, again. And well, now … she’s been taken apparently.” She looked down at her hands which she was wringing in her lap. “I’ll help you, no matter what.”

“Shannon, you don’t owe me anything. I would have the same thing had it been she and I. You feared for yours and James’ lives, and you took measures to protect yourself.” He said plainly as he pulled up to the garage.

“No, you wouldn’t have.” She balled her hands into fists, the knuckles whitening. “You don’t know me. We just met.” She looked over at him now, tears forming in her eyes. “I’m all irrational and honestly so stupid sometimes. I’m trying so hard to change because of all this bullshit but I can’t help being emotional. I fired on an innocent girl and I don’t care what you say, Daniel, I can’t forgive myself right now.” After a moment of silence, Shannon wiped at her eyes with her sleeve. “I’m sorry. Come meet James and Amy, Poly’.” With that, Shannon exited the vehicle.

Amelia was never very good with children, she hadn’t any of her own and she had no siblings which had any children. However, she’d managed to pass the time by letting James take a closer look at her M4 which she’d taken the clip from so he could look it over safely. At times the conversation would run a little stale, but with the topic of how they’d both survived they both managed to keep a light conversation going. Amelia looked up as she heard a car pull up outside the garage, motioning for James to return the M4 which she loaded before making her way towards the door. “Stay inside James, I’m going to take a look and make sure it’s people we know” she said before opening the door, peering around the corner. Shannon popped into Amelia’s view, followed by Polyester and Daniel. Shannon gave the other woman a small wave before motioning for her to head back inside.

Amelia gave a small nod as a greeting towards Shannon, offering a small smile as she walked towards her. She looked back inside and gave James an ‘all clear’ gesture with her free hand before slinging her M4 onto her back. When Amelia saw the new guy, she started to worry about the amount of resources they had to spare. At this rate they’d need to go looking for more. Without a word she followed in behind Daniel, moving over to the table where her armour lay before leaning against it, folding her arms across her chest as she looked towards Shannon and then Daniel. She was about to ask a question when Shannon spoke up.

Once everyone was inside, Shannon started up introductions. She told Amelia and James that Polyester would be with them from now on. When everyone at least knew everyone else’s name, Shannon turned to Daniel. “So, about Daniel’s sister Emma...”

“I did not find Emma… We found a kid on the tracks but I think he’s too confident. He said he could find Emma for me and lead me to her. I said no, and now we’re here…” He then added, “and so is Polyester.”

“The kid said that she’d been taken by a group of armed men,” Shannon added. She let that information soak in for a moment. “I want to help Daniel rescue her.” She looked at everyone else in turn. “I want us all to help.”

Amelia listened intently to the information that the two gave. She didn’t know these people very well, nor did she know the new arrivals. But she had partnered herself with these people and so she knew she would invest herself into this as best she could. “I’m in” she said simply, “But I assume there will be a plan that doesn’t involve us assaulting where she is held and likely being shot” she said before correcting her posture to sit a little more comfortable, leaning against the table. “We’ll need a map, and as much details as we can get our hands on”

“Of course,” Shannon said. “I’m glad you’re already thinking ahead.” She gave a smile toward Daniel. “But I think we should probably rest for the night. I think we’re all pretty exhausted.”

“I’ll take first watch, you guys sleep.” Daniel removed his Keffiyeh and vest and set them on the table.

Name: Alessia
Age: 24
Class: Elemental Knight
Power(s):

Imbued Flame - Alessia has been gifted with the element of fire enabling her to summon strength from the sun and project it into her blade, a weapon which was forged especially to support the element.

Immunity to Fire - Alessia can withstand intense heat and does not appear to suffer harm from contact with fire.

Fire Bending - Alessia may manipulate fire she comes into contact with. She can also summon it, but only during the day when the sun is out. The brighter the sun, the stronger her power over the element.

Weakness:

Alessia is at her weakest during the night as she draws her powers from the sun itself. She is greatly reduced in power when not in it's presence or in a dark place where there isn't any natural light. Alessia can also not fire bend nor can she imbue flame into her sword without the presence of sunlight, however she remains immune to it regardless of day and night. Alessia's main weakness is cold temperatures, water or magic that revolves around the elements of ice and water. When introduced to it directly she will become allot slower, weaker and find it difficult to concentrate.

Background:

Hidden deep within the mountains of Guójiā De Huǒ (Country of Fire) lay's the secluded capital city called Tula Fey. The majority of It's people worship the sun and the city itself boasts symbolism as well as monuments that express it's religion. Even large temples were built for it's people to pray and show their devotion to the faith. It was this city that Alessia was born, her future sealed by the very history of the family which raised her. Her mother, a women called Freya, the first of the Elemental Knights was born with the ability to control the flame. At first people marvelled at her powers, calling it a gift from their god before looking to her as a prophet to the people. Her mother of course denied these claims, and merely put it down to a rare anomaly, a defection of birth.

Pretty soon word reached the cities lord who in outrage had her seized, declaring her a heretic to the faith. He had her cast into the fires of Tula Fey's tallest tower, only to discover she would not burn. The lord stubbornly held her within the tower for a week, the towers of Tula Fey constantly burning in a futile attempt to scorch her body. On the eighth day the giant doors to the tower opened, the lord staring in disbelief as her mother rose from the fires of Tula Fey, like a Phoenix from it's ashes before she struck down the lord in the name of the sun. Her hair had been imbued with a strong red colour and her eyes shone with a sunset yellow. Months had passed before a new lord was appointed, elected by the people of Guójiā De Huǒ. The new lord spoke with Freya, deciding her abilities could serve better to protect the people, to inspire them.

Years had come to pass before more of these anomalies began to appear around the city, men and women with blonde hair, red hair and ginger hair all with abilities to manipulate fire. Freya looked to these people and began to pull them together into what would become the first Elemental Knights, the protectors of the faith and the people. More years had come to pass, Freya having fallen in love and given birth to her daughter Alessia who like her mother, was born with the gift. When Alessia came of age she was introduced into the Elemental Knights where she served up until recently, when it seemed the land was torn by the war and the demonic uprisings. Guójiā De Huǒ was a secluded land, peaceful in nature. But it seemed it wouldn't be long before a side came calling for their involvement. The lord called for a portion of the Elemental Knights to spread out from the city and find out what was going on with the world. Alessia has been fulfilling her orders since, travelling about the world looking for clues and answers, anything that her home could use to better prepare them for what might come.

Fun Fact: She absolutely loves tea, especially when it's hot. Often when relaxing Alessia will be making some and will be eager to share it among friends.

Hope this is ok. There might be a few mistakes here and there since it's very early in the morning. So I might neaten it up ^^
