"We're undercover. This is a very important undercover operation which you are endangering just by talking to us. Look, I have a gun. I am Detective Inspector Me. This is my partner, Detective Her."
"Her?"
"Me."
"Him?"
"Not me. Her"
"Me."
"You?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry who are you?"
"I'm Her, he's Me. Got it? Good. You better get out of here before you blow our cover. They've got snipers."

sorry i was working. Back now. I guess Katelyn ignored Autumn?
Autumn completely passed up when trying to make a new friend... lol
I suppose that would be something to be worried about. This conflict is probably going to end up interesting. I certainly hope so. Anyways i'm just waiting for Nallore to respond to all our posts to continue.
I can see...

"He hadn't really acknowledged the other guy since arriving except for an accusing glare that translated to ‘I know what you almost did back at the camp and I don’t trust you’."

any particular reason behind this? Just curious on what he almost did in camp. Do you mean Autumn almost stabbing Luke? That could definitely create some tension I suppose.
Autumn couldn't help but smile when they agreed to go with him. The smile died away as soon as he began to hear the screams echo throughout the camp. Walkers came from everywhere, pouring out of tents and climbing over the bodies of the fallen. It was something out of a nightmare.

They moved as a group heading out of the campsite towards the nearest gate. Autumn was covering the back in case a fast walker decided to sneak up on them. Before too long he had stabbed multiple infected and was soaked in blood. The gate was abandoned as the guards did their best to defend the living and subdue the dead, but it was pointless. Countless were dying by the second. Fortunately once outside the entrance the number of walkers diminished.

After leaving the campsite the younger girl called for a break. It seemed like she was having a hard time breathing, maybe she had asthma? When her sister had dished her out a dose of medicine to help her, Autumn fell back till he was at her side. He didn't pay attention to where they were going, only that it was away from the camp. Turning towards the girl he said, "I'm sorry, I'm Autumn. I never really introduced myself."He half smiled at her, "I... I don't know what to say about all that. I would have liked to meet under different circumstances." He looked her up and down, she was a pretty girl. Besides that Autumn wanted to get to know the people in his group, one could never be too careful in these days.
Slowly, as if facing down a dangerous wild animal, Autumn lower his spear at the injured man. He talked carefully as if thinking about every words before he said it. "Now listen, he's been bitten. And if i'm not mistaken that's the way these fuckers spread their disease." Nodding towards the man, "Sorry about this, but i'm just taking precaution. I ain't looking to get bit." He shook his head, careful not to take his eyes off of the man.Addressing the other two he said, "Don't you see, it's already falling apart. If this mans been bitten, how do we know there aren't others? Hell for all we know, half of the camp could be infected by now." He nodded towards the stuff laying around the tent, "Look this is my final offer. If your coming with me, you should pack your stuff." Looking first at the woman and then at the man who spoke to him first, "I would really appreciate it if you did." Autumn was sincerely nervous about going out into the open. It was dangerous, but staying here would be worse.

Personality: Before the infection Autumn was having a great life. He loves to get along with everyone, occasionally cracking jokes. It's rare to find someone that Autumn doesn't know or isn't friends with. To him friends just came easily, despite his fathers habits. He forgot important dates and events because he was so caught up with something else that he was working on.
After the infection Autumn had a harder time with the few people he met. He couldn't be his relaxed self that he was before. He was often very closed off. The few people that he let in, though, he protected and treasure. It was hard for him to see anyone of his friends die.

History: Before the outbreak, Autumn lived in a small town up the coast. The town consisted of close to 3000 people, including the ones who lived away from the community. It was a poor community with only one school. Before coming to this place Autumn was in a big city, where he had lived until the age of 10.
It didn't take long for Autumn to fit in. Besides being from a totally different place Autumn seemed to adapt fast and was generally accepted into school. It was such a small place that he new everyone in his school by name after only the first week. Soon he was one of the most popular kids in school. People naturally seemed to enjoy listening to him and he didn't mind the attention at all.
At home Autumn lived with his parents and little sister Chloe. His parents were quiet normal, though when his dad got drunk he was a pain to deal with. Chloe, Autumn absolutely adored. His little sister would have been 5 at the time of the outbreak. Before that Autumn would always take care of her. His parents were often working, and they trusted Autumn so they didn't mind leaving Chloe at home while he was there.
It was prom when everything went wrong. Autumn was out with one of the prettiest girls in school, Winter. He had nervously asked her out for the dance and she had surprisingly said yes. Once there they got nominated as Homecoming Queen and King. The party was great and they both went home feeling great about the night. After a quick kiss on her doorstep, Autumn drove off for home. His window was down and his head was out with a wide grin plastered across it.
That was when he smelled the smoke. Looking into the night sky he swore he could make out the dark-swirling patterns of smoke coming form his house. The grin on his face melted away and he tore off towards his home. He was too late. The fire head spread so fast that the firefighters didn't even bother trying to put out the fire. The were to busy trying to keep the entire thing under control. The house had burned down with his parents and sister inside of it. The firefighter sadly told him how it had probably started from a fried light-bulb or someone leaving the stove on. It didn't matter, they were dead. His whole family was dead, burned until all that was left was their ashes blowing in the wind.

Weapons: Autumn engineered himself a weapon. It is consisting of a steel rake with the head broken off, a clip that he found in the car repair shop, and a survival knife from his uncle. The knife is clipped to the end of the rake staff, so it looks like a spear, The knife can become unattached if needed.

Appearance:
Autumn sat next to his tent tapping his foot on the ground, his fist clenched around his spear. Every noise he heard, every burst of shots from the soldiers made him flinch. He couldn't stop worrying about one of the infected getting through the walls. Sure there were the soldiers there to protect them, but they were only human. Besides that, look how well they did protecting the city. No, something was eventually going to happen and when the time did come Autumn didn't want to be anywhere near here.

With an idea forming in his head, Autumn pushed himself up, moving quietly towards his neighbors tent. He had no reason to be quiet, no reason anyone would suspect him of anything, but he was nervous nonetheless. Pushing open the flap of the tent he peaked inside. He found the woman he recognized talking to some man. He didn't recognize him. "I... I'm sorry to barge in on you guys." He realized he had no real plan of action before coming into the tent. "I just... Well we need to get away from here. It's not safe. One of those evil infected things are bound to get through the gates and then we're all screwed." His hand went up to his brow wiping away sweat. "Sorry for rambling, I just want to know if you are interested in coming with me, that's all." He gestured with his hands, "I... I felt some sort of connection." He nodded towards the lady, "Not because I know you from anywhere, just... I don't know how to explain it. I do feel that we need to leave and that if you came with me we could have a much better chance of surviving." Autumn's face blushed heat rising to his face as he talked to the two.
Autumn was spacing out looking up at the sky still as he heard a loud crashing sound. He looked over sharply to his left and saw a man stumbling over one of the tent ropes. His first thought about it was that the man was infected. None of them seemed to have very good coordination. He clenched down tightly on his spear, using his feet to quickly shove himself at a distance. Lifting up his spear he prepared to throw it as soon as he got a good shot.

Then there was a voice. It came out from inside of the tent that the man had tripped over and asked if he was alright. Autumn was surprised when he actually replied. Relaxing he sighed and dropped his spear to the ground. At the same time he was shaking thinking that he nearly killed an innocent man in cold blood, all for tripping of the wire of a tent. Trembling he muttered, "Shit shit shit."

The man got up and ran off towards one of the walls of Pendleton. Autumn's only hope was that it wasn't because of him. Glancing back towards the tent, he noticed that it was the two girls he had seen later. The celebrity and her friend. He thought about introducing himself to them, but then stopped himself. They could have just seen him nearly kabob a man, they probably weren't interested in making new friends anyhow. He sighed and leaned back against his tent, thinking about how he would have reacted under different circumstances.
Autumn startled at the sound of a plane nearby. Watching it, he noticed it start to descend, faster then normal. There was a loud crash only moments after the plane dipped behind the trees. Smoke rose in billowy wisps. Autumn raised a hand to his head and ran it through his hair. The whole world was going to shit and it didn't look like it was getting better any time soon.

Pushing himself off the ground, he made his way through the campsite until he reached his tent. It was a small thing, big enough for two people if you squeezed. The damn thing also had a rip in the top. Autumn had quickly realized how much of an annoyance this was as soon as it rained. His attempt to fix it was to lay an extra shirt over it. It helped for the most part, but he still occasionally got hit in the face by drops.

Reaching to open his tent he saw two girls climbing into their own. One of them was slightly familiar, maybe from a T.V. show or movie? He shrugged to himself. All sorts of people ending up in this mess. At the thought of that he wondered who exactly hadn't made it. What exactly was going on out in the world. That was the thing that was frustrating to him, the not knowing.

A few minutes later Autumn was in his small sleeping bag attempting to sleep. He had one of his arms laying under his head to act as a pillow and the other fiercely gripping his makeshift weapon. Under the bag he was trembling, wishing for the lights to return. He still wasn't used to a life in the dark. Sighing deeply as he realized he wasn't going to get much sleep Autumn pushed himself out of the tent and looked up into the sky. He returned to his thoughts, just working his way through everything.
