Astrid was always a smart girl, she worked hard to get that way. It wasn't always easy for her though. She wasn't the most out-going person, many said she was pretty shy. However there was always the few times when she would stand up and speak out her opinion, straightforward without any hesitations.
The Good: ambitious, hard-working, intelligent, persistent, self-confident, straightforward

Astrid always dreamed of being a firefighter, ever since she was young. She watched them drive past in their bright red fire trucks, sounds whistling through the air and wished she had the courage to do just what they did. She could have done anything really, become a lawyer, work as a programmer, teach, because of her intellect, but their was something about the firefighters that just... called to her.
Determined to follow her dreams, Astrid worked to become a firefighter. She pushed herself further than she would have imagined slowly overcoming her natural shyness and showing a more outgoing personality. As she got closer to her goal she was undergoing a huge change, like a butterfly going through metamorphosis. Finally she made it onto the team. A firefighter of Truck 81 and the youngest member at that. She was still going to have to work hard to become as good as the rest and it would be hard, but Astrid never was one to give up.
