Age: 306 years old; 19 in appearance.
Faction: Vampire

After outliving those who were most important to her, she goes around in solitude. She refuses to make any friends because attachments were a bother. Sooner or later, they'd pass away and she'd continue to live on with the memories. Adeline doesn't stay in one place for too long. She is always moving from one town to another, never contented. She usually causes trouble wherever she is, not to cause harm, but to kill the boredom.

Being able to live for as long as you can wasn't exactly a treat for her. She doesn't have any goals, or even a reason to continue on. She just wanders around aimlessly, looking for anything that would entertain her. After an incident that caused her to feed on someone in the town she was currently at, she set off to look for another town to stay in. Brooksfield Colorado caught her eye, and she decided to make it her next stop. However, she does not know the rules and agreements in town regarding vampires, so problems are sure to arise.

Finally got a post up. Sorry it took awhile.
Celeste woke up thirty minutes before her alarm. Opening her eyes, she looked towards the alarm clock on her bedside, contemplating whether she should go back to sleep or start getting ready for school. After a few more moments of rest, she got out of bed and stretched lightly. The orange rays of sunlight came seeping in through the narrow opening of her curtains, and she walked over to throw the curtains wide open. She had to squint, as the harsh light hit her eyes. Celeste walked over to the telephone that was on her desk, calling for the room service to bring in her breakfast.

While waiting for the food to arrive, she headed to the bathroom to take a shower. It only took her around fifteen minutes. And by the time that she was done, the doorbell rang, and she opened it as the waiter came in with her food, settling it on the table. Her hair was gently wrapped in a towel, and she was already dressed in her uniform. She took off the towel that was wrapped around her hair, letting it air-dry as she ate her food. Today, she had carbonara pasta for breakfast. Before, she would have enjoyed it, but lately, she's been getting into Japanese food. Celeste only finished half of it before heading to the bathroom once again to brush her teeth. She combed her damp hair lightly with her fingers, and she took one last glance in the mirror before heading out.

Celeste made sure to open her bag and check her belongings, making sure that nothing was forgotten before heading out of her room to get to the car that was waiting for her. Although elevators were convenient, she had to wait for almost a minute for it to arrive on the floor she was on. She straightened herself and fixed her uniform before stepping inside. The elevator ride was quiet as always. Most people inside were reading the newspaper, and some were busy browsing through their phones.

Ding. She sighed in relief as it reached the intended floor. She quickly made her way outside, and was greeted by the driver that her father sent for her. She was planning to start walking to school since the school was already so near, but her dad insisted that she ride the car. Not wanting to cause a fuss out of something so trivial, she agreed. As she got inside the car, she took out the ipod and earphones that were inside her bag. She wore the earphones and put the player into shuffle before leaning back against the chair.

After a 5 minute drive, the car entered through the school gates. She took off her earphones and placed it back inside the bag, along with her ipod. She didn't waste any time to step outside and head to the main hall to check the class that she was assigned to. It was still quiet at this time of the day, and she was glad because it would be easy for her to look for her name in the notice board. After a few glances, she found her name. She didn't bother scanning through the names of her classmates because she didn't have friends in the first place.

Celeste headed to the gymnasium for the -as they'd like to call it, grand session. It was mandatory and it also took place last year on the first day of school. At least this year, she already knew the drill, and she was already familiar with the places. Last year, she was very late because she ended up getting lost. She wasn't very good at directions; A weakness that she really wanted to work on. As Celeste arrived in the gymnasium, she saw the history teacher wearing a roman helmet. If she was new to the school, she would have reacted weirdly, but she already got used to the oddness.

The crowd was pretty tight, so Celeste moved to a space at the side where students weren't flocking in. She stood there silently as she waited for whatever was next. Looking around, she could already see some people making new friends, and some were chatting happily with old friends, as they went on and on about how great their summer vacation was. Celeste didn't have anyone to talk to -and she had no problems with it, but being surrounded by people who were already in groups kind of made her feel left out, but not in a bad way. It was just a bit awkward as she stood there not knowing what to do.
Count me in :)
Hi Tali. Take your time with the post. I'm looking forward to it ツ

I'm planning to make a character soon. I just need to come up with a backstory.
"I AM NIKOLAI LUZCHEZKE! TO THE LADIES HERE-" Raven stopped listening after that. Not only was his accent arduous to understand, he was also incredibly loud. She sighed, as she stared at the school building. Without warning, images flashed through her head, making her pause for a moment. After the images faded, she placed the straw back inside her mouth, calmly taking a sip. She moved slightly forward, getting away from the car behind her. Seconds later, the window shattered into pieces, and was followed by one after the other. She gave Nicolas- or was it Nicole.. a momentary glance. He was a guy with a dark skin tone, a Mohawk, and several tattoos. After a second of observation, she looked away in disinterest.

Raven continued to sip at her drink, countering the fact that she absolutely had nothing else to do. She frowned slightly in disapproval when she heard the sound that signified it was empty. Sighing, she walked towards a trash bin and discarded the plastic cup into the right category. When Raven walked back to the where she was previously standing, she stared at the ground, feeling a bit awkward. She had no idea what to do now. She just stood there in silence, as she listened to the others without looking. Everyone else was already busy doing their own thing. All of them, well, most of them, were showing off their abilities to each other. In another corner, she just witnessed a white-haired guy slap a girl who seemed to be in a trance. Raven thought she was crazy at first, but it didn't seem that way when she normally conversed with the guy who just slapped her. She heard the word trigger, but she didn't hear anything else.

Things were already starting to heat up and get interesting; And the day was just beginning. A deep breath left her lips, as she envisioned how crazier it would be later on. Hopefully, things wouldn't get too out of hand. It was fun to watch, but not so fun when you get caught up in it. She decided she would keep a low profile, and she wanted to keep her ability hidden for as long as she could. It's not that it would make a difference if people knew, but for some reason, she just wanted to keep it that way. Unexpectedly, she actually enjoyed being surrounded by others who were similar to her. Yes, some of them seemed to be troublesome, and some were odd, but nevertheless, it was amusing to watch all these different people interact with each other. Most of all, it was amusing to watch them use their abilities in such a carefree manner.
Haha that's okay :)
Hahaha
Raven stood there in silence, boredom creeping in on her as they waited. Nothing was happening, and no one came. It seems that there was no point to John hurrying, because there were no signs of any assembly happening. She sighed in discontent. Raven felt a sudden craving for coffee, and she turned back to check if John was still around. Fortunately for her, he was. "Where's the nearest coffee shop?" She questioned him out of the blue. She kept her voice low, not wanting the other students to hear her. He blinked a few times, taken aback by her sudden, random, question. "There's one a few blocks from here." He cleared his throat before putting back on his professional look. "Will you drive me there?" She asked in a casual manner. Once again, he gave her an odd look. She raised an eyebrow at him, beckoning him to respond.

"Oh. Uh, no.. Of course not. Sorry. What an odd question." He replied with a slight shrug.

"Fine, I'll walk." She replied, unconcerned. She started to walk away from the group of students, and away from the school. "Wait, you can't do that. H-hey!" John called out, but immediately kept quiet, not wanting to draw the attention to them. Raven continued to walk away, not looking back and deciding to ignore him. "Fine, I'll drive you there." He sighed in defeat. She didn't smile, but the glint of amusement in her eyes gave it away. She immediately turned back, and walked past him casually, before getting inside of the car.

As soon as John got into the driver's seat, he let out an exasperated breath. He turned around to face her before speaking, "I'll drive you there, you buy the coffee, and you will come back to the car. We have to move fast, okay?" She didn't reply, but he waited for a response, and something told her that if she didn't give him one, he wouldn't start the car. "Kay." She replied nonchalantly, before looking at the window. The car was tinted, so she could easily observe the other students from inside without them seeing.

The car started to move, and after a 5-minute drive, they arrived at the intended place. She slowly got out of the car, and before she shut the door close, she could her John mumble a "Hurry up." Raven walked towards the coffee shop. As soon she entered, the smell of coffee greeted her, making her mouth water. Thankfully, there were only a few people so there was no need for her to fall in line. Raven walked to the counter, and the lady greeted her with a warm smile. "Iced Java chip frappuccino." She ordered, and the lady took down her order before motioning for her to move to the next counter. As her order was placed in front of her, she reached into her pocket, and came into a sudden realization that she had completely forgotten her wallet back home.

The barista eyed her curiously, waiting for her to pay up. Her gaze slowly met his, and she flashed him a small smile as she took the coffee in hesitation. After a moment of staring, she swiftly ran for the exit, not bothering to look back. "Hey!" She could hear the barista call out before the door closed behind her. She quickly got into the car. "Move it, John." She hollered. "Why are you suddenly in a rush? Finally excited for school?" He answered lazily as he yawned. When he saw the barista running angrily towards the car, he paused, and stared. "Oh. I guess not." He stepped on the gas pedal, and the car moved backwards in a fast speed. Raven calmly fastened her seat belt, and leaned back against the chair as she took a sip from her drink.

"What the hell did you do?" John asked. The car was now moving in a steady speed towards the direction of the school. "Nothing." She shrugged as she took another sip from her drink. She chewed on the straw gently, as she looked outside the window. They were so close to school now, and that caused her to internally groan. "A barista came running after you. Of course you did nothing." He replied, but she knew that he wasn't angry. She could see the amusement in his grey, old, eyes. "Left my wallet. But I'll pay for it when I go back." She answered him. "If I go back." She added.

They pulled over in the school's driveway, but Raven stayed at the back of the car without moving. "You have to go down now. I'm leaving." John told her as he looked at her through the front mirror. "I don't want to go to school. I don't really.. talk to people." She said quietly, a hint of loneliness in her voice. "Is that so?" He replied sarcastically. "Way to ruin the mood." Raven sighed, rolling her eyes before opening the door and stepping outside. She slowly walked back to the spot that she was standing on earlier. At least this time, she had a drink in hand, as she waited wearily for whatever was next.
