Blaire's eyes scanned through the forest. The scenery was quite breath taking; it was almost hard to believe that grimms lurked within the place. She looked at those who were at her left side - the ones who were going to be launched first, to be exact. She noticed Gram, and her memories clicked. They were separated during the assembly and both of them probably hadn't noticed out of excitement. Blaire almost forgot that she made a friend. Now that she remembered, she felt a wave of relief wash over her. She wouldn't be totally alone in a sea of strangers, and she made a mental note to get to know the rest real soon.

After looking at Gram, her eyes landed on Gertrude. She gulped when she realized that she was going to be the third one to be launched. Not out of fear, but out of thrill.

"Good. Let the Initiation begin."

As she saw Gram being launched into the air, a smile couldn't help itself from forming on her lips. It's finally time, huh? As the second person was launched, she readied her stance, lowering slightly to improve her balance. Then finally, she was up in the air. Blaire stretched her arms to the side, closing her eyes for a moment to enjoy the breeze. Then she remembered -- she was wearing a skirt. She immediately placed one hand on the front, and one hand on the back; holding it down. Dammit. She sighed in frustration. Her face became flushed, and she started to lose her focus.

By the time that her mind focused back in, she was already nearing the trees. During the last second, she pulled out both swords that were secured on both sides of her hips. With a slash using both swords, the tree in front of her fell down. She tapped her foot onto the branch for a moment to increase her speed, before spinning in the air to accelerate; increasing the amount of damage to her slashes. After the second tree was down, she simply cut through the remaining branches that blocked her way before landing smoothly onto the ground. Phew. She brushed the back of her hand over her head in relief.

Blaire started to walked through the trees, finding whoever was supposed to be her partner.
Uncanny, I have to let you know the reason why I took so long in writing an IC post earlier.... I ended up watching their videos for hours after you posted that video of the kpop thing

Hahaha
I should prolly wait for Stich to post before I do I don't wanna speed-post.
Amaya stopped before walking out of the headquarters. My wallet.. With a sigh, she turned back and headed for her room. Even though she planned to steal cash--or even steal the cake itself, it was always better to have a plan B, you know? Although, it probably wouldn't be necessary. As she reached her room, she walked over to her bed stand and opened the drawer; taking out her wallet which was made out of white leatherette. She opened it to check it's contents. It was pretty loaded, but if she had to choose between spending for cake, and getting it for free, the latter would always be more delightful. She snapped it shut and placed it inside the pocket of her white trench coat before closing the drawer and walking out of her room.

Now, it was time to get some cake. Chocolate cake or strawberry cake? That was the question. Chocolate cakes were.. chocolatey, sweet, and they tasted like passion in your mouth. However, strawberry cakes were creamy, lighter to the tongue, and were also a bit more refreshing and healthy--probably. But if it comes down to it, chocolate would always be her first choi-

"Any clue where she's gone off to?!"

The very familiar--and loud might she add, voice broke through the silence; snapping her out of her thoughts - again. Amaya let out an exasperated breath before leaning on the wall and crossing her arms. "Oh, did you miss me already?" She spoke. Without waiting for a response, she walked away from Ntombi. Amaya was sure that she would follow anyway. Not because she liked to, but because she wanted to continue pestering her. At least Gin was there too, and she wouldn't have to be stuck with Ntombi alone. Things weren't as bad as they seemed. Cakes were always better to eat with the company of some.. friends.
Okie lemme write something

Hmmmm! Perhaps we can have a bit of fun in town for a while first, and then work on getting back to the conference room before we start the collab. I hope you two have got the PM - use the newer one so Shadow and Panda can see our posts.

Okayy~ So Marshal, are you going to post? Or do you want me to post first?
Double post. Eh, i'm not sure what to reply to in my writing. Should Amaya hear the clock strike 12 and then head for the conference room? Or are Gin, Ntombi, and Amaya still going to go have some fun in town?
Finally up. I'll go read the posts and then write a post... after I watch all the videos that you guys posted.
"Oh, my last name? Well it's V-"

The stage lit up, catching Blaire's attention. "Welcome, future Hunters and Huntresses of Beacon Academy..." There was silence in the audience as everyone began to listen intently. "Before we begin your first day... The Headmaster will have a few words to share with you." The microphone was handed over to another man, who introduced himself as Professor Ozpin; the headmaster of the academy.

I'll keep my speech brief so we can get on with the next phase of your entry into Beacon Academy. You have traveled here today seeking knowledge. Perhaps even to hone your skills or to acquire new ones in your journey. After your completion, you'll dedicate your life to stand by and protect the people of Vale City. My vision pierces through your hearts as it falls one by one-- you are short of purpose and misguided in direction. Knowledge will not be able to free you. For your time at this academy will prove that knowledge will only shelter you for so little..." He pauses for a moment, clearing his throat. "The key to a successful Hunter... Is not by knowledge. It is the step into the darkness that soon will become your light."

Every word he said filled her with excitement - although she would never admit it. During his speech, her full attention was on him; taking his every word. The Professor then took off and Glynda took over. "This year we will hold our Initiation early... And it begins in two hours. Be settled for the coming trial and you'll succeed as an intern in our Academy." Glynda steps off the stage and motions for them to follow her into the lockers. Blaire immediately got up from her seat and followed, not wanting to get left behind so that she doesn't get lost. After all, she was the worst when it came to directions. Probably not the worst, but she would definitely have a place in the top ten list. Blaire moved through the crowd, and there were occasional bumps and glares here and there.

"This area holds our academy's lockers. They are custom-made lockers with digital pads equipped. With a six digit code, you can assign them to arrive at a custom location of your choice. If you need to store your items, please do so with haste for you must prepare for the upcoming Initiation Phase. We will meet you back at the Main Building Hall where we will start our ritual."

Blaire walked over to her locker and registered her fingerprint. When it asked for a six-digit code, she had a mental argument with herself. Should it be 1-1-2-8-1-7? Or perhaps.. 1-1-2-8-0-7? Hmm.. After a few minutes of indecisiveness, she picked the latter. She then placed her bag inside, along with the case that held the bullets for her sniper guns. She didn't need to take too much with her because she always preferred to use her dual swords anyway.

As she closed her locker, there was a sudden voice that echoed throughout the room; catching her attention. "Alright i'm gonna be really blunt about this, I need a partner and I know that there's no way in hell that everyone in here is paired up. So, who among you is interested?" Right. Partners. Blaire completely and utterly forgot. May she stress out the word completely. She was always used to working alone, so it never crossed her mind. She needed a partner, and quick. She was about to raise her hand, but she stopped herself mid-action. Uhh.. Well, let's just say.. she never realized she was shy until this very moment in her life.
