my first warhammer game

Funny thing is, Orks were the first army that I played with ever. I was in my local geek store (sold comics, novels, warhammer, boardgames, action figures, manga and all that jazz) and they were having this tutorial day for tabletop games. One had Space Marines and Orks. it was a single squad of tactical marines with one rocket launcher vs 1 squad of Shootaz and Nobs. I was with two of my friends and all three of us chose orks because they were much larger than the Space marines. First friend lost, second friend lost too.

I played it more tactially. The terrain was advantagus. I used my shootas to keep the Marines distracted while my nobs ran towards the blue toilet seats using trees for cover. By the time the last of my shootas was gunned down (Funny, the last one survived two rounds without a scratch) and when he died, the nobs got into melee range and SLAUGHTERED the marines.

They aren't good when it comes to melee in the game but their long range weaponry is off the charts. One of the best in the game.

But can't say not to the Imperial Guard cannons
