Or settled down like at Jacobstown. There's a few very intelligent mutants in the first generation bunch. Like for Jacobstown they may have settled down somewhere in the Sierra Nevada maybe, or in some ruins and spend their time herding other lost mutants towards them. With civilization sprouting up in Nevada too there's a possibility that the intelligent muties may see signs that threaten them and move out, taking who they can.If Jacobstown isn't steamrolled by robots, Marcus could have just as well took everyone out and away at a sign of trouble. He's not a character who would want it.

Of course, but Marcus is an established character; any mutie who traveled that far East/North obviously wasn't the cream of the crop if they couldn't find anything closer. If we WANT to have a society of Super Mutants to the North that's awesome but there's nothing from the games that support them being there, dig?

Dallas Texas maybe...?

This one knows my words.
When the lights died, Scrap was quick to react, darkness his ally for many years. Crouching low and drawing his oversized dart gun, he was all but invisible skulking toward the stairs for a vantage point. It was no Stealth Boy but the Nightkin was able to move surprisingly silently for his size, his only handicap being the need to leave his precious junk behind. When the lights flicked back on Ellie would notice her conversational partner no where in sight with only his giant satchel to mark the place he once stood.

When Tenpenny requested the lot be seated, Scrap did so though not without a few curious stairs as he descended from the balcony once more. After House's spiel of riches and wealth untold it became very clear to Scrap the lot of them would be traveling together for some time. Narrowing his gaze at the Tiny Man once more Scrap snarled an unspoken reminder to keep tongue to himself or have it ripped out.

"Many thanks, Mr. House," Tenpenny said. "Any questions?"

Scrap raised his form uneasily, un-wedging himself from the wingedbacked chair as he spoke. "Scrap have, grah, Scrap have question, Penny Man. Why need two workers? Scrap fix anything, Gutsy not necessary." As if to illustrate his point, Scrap marched to where his satchel lay and shouldered his supplies. "Scrap fix anything," he repeated.

Raiders might give the chance for dallas so show off some of his ranger skill. >;)

And what skills might those be? Do you have something in mind? He already has the single minded devotion thing down but where does he excel? I'd argue traditionally Rangers are known for their gunmanship, leadership and survival...ship, which of those sounds most like Tex'?
True enough though I'd imagine they'd be more legends and story books by now. I always figured the Mariposa Super Mutants who still wander around were stragglers when the Vats went boom. Without a specific anchor, they'd have either come back West or continued East surely.
I'm also gonna vote Green. The relatively stable settlements up North have probably never even heard of a Super Mutant. If Scrap is going to change the Wasteland's opinions of them, best to start with a clean slate.
Don't let Sweet Gin hear you say that

*Is still waiting for Scrap to answer her curious questions...*

I didn't know there was anything left unanswered, my bad; last I heard Gutsy interjected as to Scrap's Master, was there another question after that?
Legion hates ghouls as much as the Master did; evolutionary rejects and abominations of the wastes.
