I think wiper is two people that were very close to Kami, and the radiation caused these two people to fuse...
Also, in wiper's crush/relationship. it says he has: a kind of adoration for Kami. So obviously, he would get mad if she ignored him, which is exactly what the baby will do...
I look at you and almost grin "I really wanna slap you right now…" I say, still feeling uncomfortable.
