Ancients of Elan ~ Rise of The Chosen

"I'm not surprised you really don't believe me. I mean, who could believe the world was going to end? And no, I'm not some strange relative to the Oracle Siianthaliae. Perhaps if I were to show you what i saw through her visions thanks to her teaching me the ability of augury then maybe you might react differently and provide a more resolute answer than accusing me of being crazy." Selest said as she reached over concentrating the energy inside herself to project visions of the past which weren't seen through her mind, but rather projected in front of Whizzle. She taps into what ever energies and thoughts that remain from the ancients trying to converge it into a mass of images that may change Whizzle's perception.



The first vision Selest shows Whizzle she explains was a gateway she passed through to enter their Universe. Many thought the gateway she passed through never existed, but through her research of the SIndel ancients she learned they used the gateway to travel from point to point in the Universe. "This first vision you see is how I entered your Universe. You know it as the Infinity Gate or the gate that crosses between dimensions created by the Sindel in the ancient past. I used this gateway to connect with Meira's thoughts and connected to her mind using it as a pathway into your dimension. I will not tell you who I am, but I will at least try to make everything be a little more understandable."



Right after she showed Whizzle the Infinity Gateway she then showed him the end of the Sindel race in the Universe. The event many call the great collapse which is where an experiment was being performed which backfired and exploded destroying the original Sindel world along with all of their civilization as it spread through the Infinity Gate outward toward the stretches of the Universe that were inhabited by the Sindel race. Even half the Gaelan planet was completely destroyed and left in complete ruins. Dangerous energy clouds still remain keeping people out of the once inhabited Sindel lands. "This is what actually happened to the Sindel race. Alkmaar, the leader of the Sindel people destroyed the SIndel people with his experiment of trying to usurp the gods and create his own Universe. Two energy planets are in between the explosion along with the Sindel world which is toward the top and the Gaelan planet is right below it. The Gaelan moon is between the energy planets and Gaea."

"Do you doubt my words now?" Selest questioned after she showed a view of the pieces of the ancient past to Whizzle She wasn't sure how Whizzle would react to what she had offered to him, but she hoped it would give him a better perspective on how serious her words were when she spoke about the fate of Gaea.

"I'd like to see him reflect a burning fist to the face." Nathan added.

Reala tried to call Nathan back knowing what happened to Siia and Miia when they tried to attack him carelessly close range, but it was too late. Her mother shook her head when she looked over toward her giving the impression if she should follow suit. Melianth wanted to intervene, but if she did it would only cause more harm than good. She decided like her daughter Reala that the only way Nathan was going to learn is if he found out himself what happens.

Siia and Miia both were about to take on Aodeos when they saw Nathan charge at Aodeos. Both of them whispered under their breath "stupid idiot" simultaneously. Neither of them tried to stop Nathan. They both were going to allow Nathan to find out for himself how foolish it was to attack him with just pure brute strength. Aodeos turned his head away from the two girls then grinned at the boy coming at him. He prepared a glyph in front of him and another glyph somewhere behind behind him. "Too cocky for your own good?" He grinned as he awaited for Nathan to hit him with his strike. He was about to pull the same trick he did with the two sisters when they tried to attack him close range.

"So that's how it's going to be?" He added seeing the fireball, but still grinning causing his glyphs to start to react to one another and light up. He wasn't phased at all by Nathan's attack and still awaited him to attack him. He knew he wasn't around earlier to see what happened to the two sisters otherwise he would reconsider his strategy right about now. Right before the fireball would make impact with him, he snapped his fingers where part of his aura slipped into the glyph he had created. "Who said anything about needing to reflect your fist? But I can do this if you desire."

"Darkness is coming to Holyoke. I am not referring to the armies of Guardia and Rudoria, petty wars are bound to happen and normally sort themselves out. However, the Order has detected much eviler forces at work. Things of witchcraft, treason, and cults, and possibly things that not even I have been informed about, possibly even outside of the knowledge of my superiors. When the evil is at Holyoke's door, the Order plans to be ready." Alexander said to Meira which did concern her quite a bit. If it weren't the two nations causing havoc then who were these outside forces working behind the shadows. Meira thought to herself about Alexander's words as she lead him into the kitchen when the maid greeted informing her that the food was done.

Meira entered the clean kitchen and walked across it into the large dining with a table that could seat around twenty or more people. She walked over toward one of the corners and took a seat across from Ranathia who was sitting on the other side of her. Ranathia gave her a gaze of curiosity and then turned her head toward the person who followed her which she gave them a look of suspicion. It was obvious how Ranathia was observing this person she didn't trust them at all.

While Ranathia was examining the person more thoroughly, Meira decided to speak toward him, "Go ahead and take a seat. We'll talk over dinner. Since Ranathia is here I think that'll happen speed things along a bit."

"So...any chance you know something about this guy? Like how he fights or something? I really don't like to go into a fight blind, so any Intel would be really appreciated." Nathan said toward Reala as she tried to think closely about how Aodeos fought. She remembered her mother explained to her that Aodeos was both an offensive and defensive type of attacker who used strategy and planning to best hist targets with. Melianth warned her that he was very dangerous when on the defensive as he used people's attacks against increasing the power and damage that can be accumulated by them.

"Aodeos is a really hard to predict strategist that uses his own strategies to overwhelm his opponents with. Attacking him carelessly will cause him to stay defensive and if you leave an opening he'll take advantage of it meaning letting down your guard means he'll go on the offensive. So the type of attacker he is you can say he's a strategist kind. Yes, he would send your attacks back at you, but with a catch. He absorbs your attack increases the power of it and returns it to you with even more destructive power than it originally had." Reala revealed toward him as she saw Siia and Miia were still just standing there and that Aodeos wasn't taking any action at all either. The three looked serious though Aodeos a bit amused since that same grin he always wears is still implanted on his face. Duress just stares from below on the sidelines as she knows she is in no condition to be fighting anymore after taking damage from Melianth's attack.

"Ready whenever you are ladies." Aodeos grinned at them as he also turned one blind eye to see Reala and Nathan had emerged from the structure that had been just destroyed. He remained on guard while he strategized once again to help him determine the right strategy for fighting these people.

"She is in no condition mentally to be around this guy if what she said is right. Whether or not she can fight, I have no doubt that she'll go after him in a frenzy if no one stops her, and we can't fight him and keep her safe at the same time. Right now; our first priority should be her safety. I came here to save a live, not to fight" Nathan said to the group as he saw that Chloris was in no condition to be confronting Aodeos. Both Reala and Luther nodded their heads agreeing that she was in no physical condition to be fighting especially if she was going into a blind rage without thinking rationally. Luther took his book and swiped it hard againplast the back of Chloris head. In an instant she stopped struggling as her conscious left her.

Chloris could feel her vision immediately going black and had no idea what had just had happened as she fell into a deep sleep. Luther took Chloris into his two arms looking at the two as he was about to walk away, "I'll take Chloris back to my place and let her get some rest. I'll leave this to the rest of you." He said as he dismissed himself from the group and disappeared in the blink of an eye into particles that dissipated. Reala turned her attention toward Nathan. She wasn't entirely sure she could trust him since she had known little about him, but if he was guarding her half-sister then she could probably trust him. She looked around the destroyed house and noticed that Duress was down meaning Melianth defeated her foe, but the two sisters look like they were having a heck of a time with the leader of the group. She wanted to get a good glimpse at his face, but she couldn't since it was completely covered. She wondered how Chloris knew who he was until she thought it was probably the look in his eyes that gave him away. The same kind of look that gets amusement out of toying with minds and enjoys watching those around them suffer. Which was a person that Reala hated the most, but she didn't want to intervene in Siia and Miia's fight so she didn't.

"How did you know I was a princess?" Meira said completely surprised that this person knew about the title she carried around as a very heavy burden. A burden which she which didn't weigh her down, but she had to assume responsibility for her family's name since that was the traditional approach. Meira placed her hand near her sword getting into a defensive state after seeing that explosion. She had never seen this person before and they were already addressing her as if they knew her for years and said they were from a military organization. She didn't know how to react. Part of her wanted to resort to force, but another half of her wanted to resolve the conflict in her mind without having to rely on violence.

As she was pondering her thoughts she then remembered he said he was from the Holy Order which caused her to be a little less cautious. The look in her eyes was a bit less serious as she tried to relax her mind despite all that had happened today. The argument that this person was playing a decoy to keep her away from the explosion was dismissed from her mind when they revealed they were from the Holy Order. It also caused her to breath a little easier reassured that they weren't some assailant or someone out to cause harm to her. She was concerned with what that explosion was, but she would do her important business first before she went to launch her own personal investigation into it. "Yes, I am Princess Meira. I'm not sure what you want to learn about the coronation, but come inside." She said as approached the door and opened it standing off to the side. While she was allowing them to enter her residence she was a bit curious why this person or Order were interested in aligning themselves with someone who was just starting off? There were plenty of other nations to side with so why her all over a sudden? She would hold that question until they went somewhere a little more private to hold it. "Not sure why you're so interested in allying with me, but come in and we'll discuss the details over a nice dinner." She said out of confusion though she did give him the intention that she was inviting him to have dinner with her.

"What you see is the truth about Gaea. The destruction is imminent; however, at this time it's not inevitable." She said toward Whizzle as she walked toward the side erasing the grin from her face. She didn't want to see her as a personification of evil who enjoyed such memories rather the fact she was toying around with Whizzle's mind. The fact she caused him to frown gave her some amusement. She hid a book at her side which she carried around which you could see just one of the letters which was the letter "M". The rest of the book was concealed by her. She didn't want to allow anyone to see it. The book itself was dangerous and when combined with the missing link it was a force of unstoppable destruction. The way she gripped the book gave many the indication that she kept it with her at all times and like her mother advised her when she first received it never let it out of her sight even once. Though she felt a strange faint glow from it like if something were interfering with it. Perhaps both the link and book just like it were reacting to the one she held. It did strike her curiosity though she didn't say much about it.

She pointed toward the book which she saw in Whizzle's hand. She knew exactly how the book worked and knew everything about it. She even knew how to use the book properly without it going berserk and trying to destroy everyone and everything around it. "That which you embrace in your palms is the answer toward the salvation of this world. Be forewarned, that book can both breed both salvation and destruction at the whim of the user, but without the missing link, you'll never be able to harness the full potential of the tome."

"You want to see into my thoughts?" Selest thought amused since she knew he wouldn't like what he saw in her mind. Even she had a hard time dealing with all of the death and destruction that screamed and swirled inside her mind. It was like a gigantic whirlpool of madness that continually circulated inside her mind with no means toward an end. She closed her eyes then allowed Whizzle to peer into her mind. There were parts which she blocked intentionally, because she knew who he was and didn't want him to who she was or the truth about her whole existence. She knew that he wouldn't understand anyway even if she tried to explain it to him.

Inside Selest's mind were disturbing visions of a cycle of complete destruction. You could also see a blue lush planet inside one her memories being annihilated in a fireball which consumed it whole like a glutton. Part of her mind was saying "fate of the Universe" and other parts were saying "destruction of the planet she was given birth on by a royal". Some others talked about a strange object inside of her that gave her mysterious powers that other people did not have. Other parts of her mind talked about the ultimate end disclosed by the scriptures of Moirai. Other parts were referring to phrases such as "the seeds of our last hopes" and the "daughters of the legends that long passed. "I am the daughter of the legends from the past."

"Heh, he probably doesn't understand a word of any of that." Selest grinned where she would attempt to amuse herself by confusing Whizzle with the chaos that was going on inside her mind.

Meira makes to her house, but is confused when she sees someone there. Remaining on guard she approaches the person staying unarmed leaving her weapon in its sheathe. She tries to put on a smile despite what has happened addressing them casually with her gentleness. "May I help you, sir?"

"Oh my..." Meira stuttered when she heard an explosion and saw a very small blue dome in the distance. She was very curious to what caused it, but she would first confront this person before she went to investigate. The past events a moment ago weighed heavily down on her, but she tried to remain calm and composed.

At the time of the explosion, the three other girls had taken their fight up into the sky completely evading the explosion that occurred earlier. They didn't even notice that Chloris had been rescued at the time which was who Luther and Reala were both holding back from foolishly attacking the dangerous man Miia and Siia were both facing off against.le Earlier it was revealed by her that he had murdered her parents, a fact that the two girls going up against him aren't aware of yet. Melianth is parallel from the two girls taking on Duress by herself. The fact Siia and Miia facing Aodeos make look like he has the disadvantage, but so far he has been able to hold his own in the fight. He has yet to display any weakness toward the two sisters who have been trying to figure him out to avoid his trickery.

Melianth on the other hand is trying to determine a way to get close to damage Duress without having to leave herself wide open for a counter. She noticed when she tried to use Endless Massacre of Double Slashes which were lightning fast sword strikes that Duress manage to avoid them all that speed alone wasn't enough to defeat Duress. If she were to get a decisive strike she would have to find a way to get Duress to drop her guard or try to force her to get aggressive. The problem was Duress was a defensive type fighter and wouldn't attack unless you attack her first. This made it even more difficult to figure out a way to get around her defense.

Generating energy into her sword Melianth heads toward the ground which confuses Duress. Duress doesn't quite know why Melianth went toward the ground where they followed, but when she touched the ground that is when Melianth went on the offensive. Melianth took her sword and slashed out twelve earth burrowing swordwaves that moved in all directions in order to surround Duress making escape difficult. "Interesting." Duress said impressed as she noticed Melianth managed to force Duress to start getting offensive due to the change in her strategy. Duress swung her chain-link sword around striking all of the earth burrowing shockwaves, but Melianth caused them to disappear when she thrust her sword into the ground deep. Duress didn't quite know what Melianth was up to. The fact she made the waves disappear caught Duress by surprise. She didn't know if the attack was just a ruse or if she was up to something. Melianth's sword was stuck in the ground which was a golden opportunity to attack her.

"I don't know what you're trying to pull, but now your guard is down!" Duress yelled as she made for a straight toward Melianth. Melianth didn't move at all while he was coming straight at her. She was anticipating this where she waited patiently for what she was about to do. When Duress tried to strike Melianth she immediately let huh slip out of her mouth when Melianth did a backflip backward. "I won't miss twice!" Duress yelled as she tried to wrap Melianth up with her chain-link only to have her vanish in thin air. "What kind of trickery is this?" She questioned to notice that Melianth extracted her sword and had said the words Requiem Force Reverse Parallel. Duress grinned knowing full well where the attack was coming from when she saw the swordwaves coming at her. She jumped into the air and her eyes became big when Melianth grinned the words 'got you' is when she was hit with a barrage of them. Her attack exploded which sent Duress sailing toward the ground after the explosion cleared sending her right into the house that was still standing just barely.

Miia pulled out one of her Elan bomb when Aodeos managed to knock Siia off balance throwing it right behind him. Aodeos didn't even see the attack coming where she detonated it which knocked him backward hitherto he used the energy from his aura to recover. Miia asked Siia if she was okay and she nodded at her that she was fine.

"Take this!" Reala exclaimed as she threw the glyph that she was holding in her hand into the air. She concentrated her energy and relaxed her mind before she yelled the word annihilate where an explosion engulfed in blue occurred. To prevent everyone else from being caught up in the explosion she used her aura to protect them and ward off the area of effect from the glyph bomb she just used. The glyph bomb exploded disintegrating into ashes the trap that was used to impede her with. She said, "Uh-oh." When she realized that the explosion was bigger than she anticipated. A blue dome of energy covered the area where she was standing and annihilated parts of the house consuming everything in its wake as it became bigger and bigger. This is not what Reala expected the Elan bomb to do and now it was destroying more than she wanted it too. The bomb leveled the back part of the house ripping the roof off with ease and destroying it into ashen ruin in the process. Luther and Chloris could feel the intensity of the blast and were nearly knocked of their feet when she detonated it so precariously.

When the explosion cleared the entire back part of the house was completely gone. Reala could only shake her head in complete disappointment and there was a look of worry on her face, because the situation did not end like she wanted it to. She had noticed earlier that the young boy punched a hole into the prison, but it was reinforced meaning a single strike wasn't enough to break it. An explosion that emitted pressure was the most effective way, but she overdid it when she pretty much leveled the entire dwelling. "I have no idea how I'm going to explain this to the queen let alone my mother." She said a bit concerned since her surrogate mother came off pretty unglued during circumstances like this.

Luther ignored what had happened since he didn't want to get involved in it. He asked Chloris if she was okay and if they had harmed her in anyway and she gave him a nod of no. The fight wasn't over yet though, Luther knew since three other girls were engaged into combat with two other people who were responsible for Chloris kidnapping. Neither Chloris or Luther before her kidnapping even expected events to turn like this, but they learned that they have a new enemy to deal with aside from the Guardia Kingdom and Rudoria Kingdom. "Who exactly are you anyway? I know your name is Reala Valdaria, but that's about all I know. And Valdaria, wasn't that an ancient empire formed by..." Luther paused for a moment when he was about to say "Azmaldus" because it had hit him where he had heard that name before. The Azmaldus who was a part of the Pangaea Order was the very same Azmaldus that used to reign over the Valdaria Empire. He couldn't believe he had forgotten such an important fact, but then again Valdaria is nothing more than a memory to most people.

"Thank you all for coming to my rescue." Chloris answered pleased to be rescued from the clutches of her captors. Reala and Luther both tried to question Chloris, but she didn't have much to tell them. She told them all she knew when she was in captivity and that a cloaked figure tried to rescue, but was brutally injured by the one they call Aodeos. After that all went dark for a long time including when she awoke after being incapacitated it was still dark. She couldn't remember any of their faces since she was blindfolded right after they pulled her out of the sack they were whisking her away in. She did hear that Aodeos taunted her telling her that he knew Luther very well and that he would do the samething he did to him to her. She refused to believe him, but Aodeos only grinned at that time. He didn't really say anything more other than he enjoyed watching her parents bleed and scream as they drew their last breaths. That is when she remembered she blew up where he ordered his cronies to silence her with a gag.

Chloris had been trying to get that out of her mind after he showed her both their heads which terrified her eyes. She was restrained to a chair and wanted to kill Aodeos for what he did. He had tricked her earlier by saying her parents were in trouble which was a trap she was lured into where they captured her. In fact, he had murdered her parents before he had even kidnapped her. When she caught a glimpse of Aodeos with her eyes she was about to go confront him where Luther and Reala both had to restrain her. Tears rolled down her eyes as anger filled her eyes at Aodeos sight. "THAT BASTARD KILLED THEM!"

"Killed who?" Luther questioned toward Chloris while trying to keep her from bringing harm to herself. He knew Aodeos better than anyone and that he was just as dangerous as he looked. Chloris then yelled on the top of her lungs, "MY PARENTS!"

"Why is there any need to retreat? There are more elements that exist than this woman is aware of." Reala said toward Nathan not seeming to want to go with the others. Reala was generating energy into her body where her aura started to pick up intensity. She could feel the energy in the air as she sensed for the particles in the air to absorb into her flesh so she could convert it into a raw force of power. The type of energy Reala used was very different from the one that was used by Luther and Chloris who were confused not knowing what was going on. They saw that strange particles started to appear out of nowhere and started to emanate in her body. They didn't quite understand what phenomena was causing the energy to circulate in the air like it was. It was like some unknown source was being extracted from the air which intrigued both of them.

Letting her aura surge out of her body it started to rage violently ripping apart small objects that were too close to her disintegrating them into dust. It continued to roar as it took a darker azure shine which emblazoned the room and the heat it emanated began to get a little intense. "I am very different from all the others, woman. I don't use your basic elemental composition and am renown scholar in the arts of magic. The form of magic and the force I use to generate may not quite be toward your own comprehension. But since civilians are around, I'll back down this once. Next time we meet I'll annihilate you like a blue star reaching its last moment of breath." She threatened as she kept her aura active and decided to pull back like Nathan requested for now. "Remember the name Reala Valdaria, daughter of the famous heroine of the Cimmerian Corrosion Era Valeria Rystaliuskal. My mother might be dead, but I'll carry on her legacy within me." Those were Reala's final words as she prepared a glyph on her hand as a defensive measure as she followed Luther, Chloris and Nathan toward the outside of the house.

"Not bad." Duress complimented Melianth as he managed to avoid each one of Melianth's strikes. Since her attack was unsuccessful, Melianth pulled back and began to rethink her strategy. This person in front of her was no amateur and was well versed in the art of combat. If she was going to overwhelm them she would have to think of a way to use their speed against them. Duress grinned at Melianth when she saw she was focusing on him acknowledging the fact that she wasn't going to beat her with speed alone.

"SADISTIC MASOCHIST!" Miia and Siia both exclaimed as they both got in two sides of Aodeos and tried to impale him on both sides, but what they impaled was a trap. The trap that looked like him went poof into smoke and exploded which knocked both girls backwards, but they both recovered doing somersaults in the air before landing bot on their two feet. "We're not going to beat him if we aren't aware of his trickery." Siia reminded Miia where she only sighed already knowing that was the biggest problem about attacking him. They both knew that normally Aodeos never attacked preparing his strategies before hand in the form of trickery and used his opponent's strength against them by wearing them down. "Looking for me ladies?" Aodeos grinned as he reappeared standing a few feet away from the girls still with his weapon in hand. "I haven't even gotten started yet."

Meira completely ignored Whizzle, but decided to stop for a breather for a moment. Like usual, he wanted to be annoying and irritating which she found very bemusing. Right now she was trying to deal with the fact she would have to say goodbye to grandfather and she wasn't sure how she was going to inform Ranathia. It was so hard to believe even for her, but it was true though for someone like Ranathia who doesn't know about it yet might not believe her at first. She would actually have to see for herself what happened before she could ever believe it. Her discomfort and anxiety caused her mind to juggle her thoughts around.

Meira's memories are confusing for anyone to understand. Many that her mind portrays showed random events and formulas that kept appearing. On those formulas were strange characters in the form of Psyaphonic characters. One of her memories that arose was one that displayed her mark that is on her left hand which symbolizes her pact with the Goddess of Mortal Destruction Euphoria. Various other memories appear where several show familiar terms like "Magnum Opus" and "Enuma Elish", but gave little insight on why she has those names engraved into her mind. Another which shows a conversation that Erialyss was having with Siia in the past talking about a seal related toward Magnum Opus and its importance to Meira.

"Magnum Opus is one of two complete Elan crystals that was manufactured into existence by the Sindel race. The crystal is passed from mother to its next child. What child is decides to be passed onto is completely up to it as it finds the one that is most suitable for harnessing its incredible power while not deconstructing or destroying that being." Siia said toward Erialyss as she stood by the door. Erialyss was fixing her hair in her royal master bedroom while Siia was talking to her though she wasn't completely comfortable with everything that Siia revealed to her.. Neither Erialyss or Siia knew that Meira was listening in on the door at the time. When they sent her away it was for good reasoning.

"Though I wonder..." Siia questioned as she walked over and took a seat on the bed along with Erialyss as she pressed her finger firmly against her lip. She could feel the smooth texture of her finger along her lip as she stroked it gently with the flesh that made up her index finger on her hand. She curved it along with a few of her other fingers for a second as Erialyss still was questioning in her mind what she meant by "though I wonder" even though the thoughts about what she revealed a moment ago hit her like a brick wall. She didn't want to think about anything that Siia said in her last statement before she started pondering thoughts, but the essence of the thought she just couldn't let it fade out of her mind. "What do you mean by 'though I wonder' Lady Siia?" Erialyss questioned out of utmost curiosity, because she was too curious why Siia was acting so question like and putting deep thought while she knew she delved deep into what she was thinking about.

"It's just that she started to speak silly words such as: 'System of Principles within Existence's Realm Unveiled in Radiance known as Sopweruin. I am the fabrication of everything. I am the essence that makes up what you know as fate and the Wave of Existence. I am the conscious minds of everything even when in a slumber state. I did not ask to be created yet you mortals foolishly manufactured a part of me that I never wanted. Mortals should cease thinking about how they can create their own paradise and enjoy what they have. You should live within your means and stop playing with science you will never understand. Such a mistake was made before by a foolish scholar known as Alkmaar. I am embracement of all beings. I am the creation and the destruction of the entire cosmos. I govern all that exists. I give everything purpose. I write the laws of existence so that all can function properly without flaw.' I have no idea what she meant by any of that, but when she said the name Alkmaar that is when I was shocked. The fact it called itself "Sopweruin" is beyond me. I, myself, as an understander of this Universe have never heard that name before." Siia stated in confusion since she had no recollection of the name or the phrase. She didn't know if that was some kind of device or system created by the Sindel race or if it was something else entirely. Though she did have a curiosity if had any relation toward the epidemic known as Avernus which annihilated her planet.

"I want to touch base with what you said earlier. Were you talking about her when you were talking about Magnum Opus and that mysterious tome?" Erialyss questioned in both confusion and discomfort, because she was hoping that what she thought she was talking about wasn't true. She didn't want to come to terms with the fact that she would one day have to reveal that fact if it were the truth later in her life. "You said Magnum Opus is passed from mother to child. Do you know what exact child inherited the crystal?" Erialyss questioned which only invoked an answer as short as a nod of her head back and forth. This was an indication that she, herself, didn't know the answer to that question. There was only one way that you could tell a child possessed the orb though she wasn't about to tell her how. Until she confirmed it herself even though after that weird incident with Meira earlier and the fact she had no memory of what happened left her mind with many questions and no way she could fill in the blanks just yet.

After those words from Siia the memory faded away not allowing the ability to sense what happened afterward. This would leave many questions to be asked and very few answers to fill in the blanks with it. It would also just cause one to become even more curious about what happened to to Sindel and what exactly were the purpose of both Magnum Opus and Enuma Elish. Another memory appeared where Meira touched the tome in the previous past when Ranathia was watching who stopped her from going out of control. Meira again passed out from the ordeal and her sphere inside her body levitated itself above her body until someone approached it like Ranathia did where it vanished. Ranathia noticed that anytime she touched the tome she could see weird marks on Meria's body, but she never said anything to her about weird marks and a warm feeling overtaking her body which she sedated.

After that the scene she had earlier with her grandfather had appeared in her mind and after that the last memory that appeared before her mind was interrupted was when someone asked her what she would name her child and she said either Est or Sel were cute names. After that, the names she saw earlier had reappeared but before they could be focused on her mind was then completely interrupted.

"Naughty, naughty You leave my mo..." Right when Selest was about to say the word she immediately corrected herself. "You leave my friend alone, you big meanie." The same pink girl Whizzle and Meira had seen earlier appeared shaking her finger in Whizzle's face knowing exactly what he was doing. She frowned at the thought of him prying on a poor girl's mind and thought he was being quite a pervert for doing it. "I know you must have a gender bender issue, but it's not nice to pry in other people's privacy." She said as her frown immediately transformed into a smile where she closed her eyes. She knew that Whizzle was probably not too happy with her since she just ruined his fun. "Aww, did I ruin your fun? You poor little person." She laughed since she was amused by the fact he probably was annoying him now.

Chloris looks over toward a corner and notices a pink haired girl in hiding. She signals toward Chloris to duck when she tells her and cover her ears, because she holds a crimson ball in her hand which she is about to deliver to the ground with massive force. Right before she gets the signal she tries to warn Luther with her eyes about what is going to happen. Just at that time she manages to cut the ropes away on her chest as they fall to the ground where she is completely free. The only thing left is to remove the gag between her lips, but she can't do that yet without Malice suspecting something. Right when that happens she sees Reala deliver the ball created to the ground with massive force where she exclaims, "Howl like a banshee and impair their hearing! WIND HOWLER!"

A small crimson ball of energy not meant to harm is delivered into the ground which screams and shrieks loudly like the deadly howling winds of a hurricane as Chloris finally plugs her ears then tilts her head back and butts Malice in the face then runs over toward where Luther is. Luther manages to plug his ears too as the sound is so violently that it can easily cause damage to the eardrum if a target listens to it for too long. Luther looks over toward Chloris as he grabs her asking if she is all right where she nods at him. She then grabs her sword which they stuck in a corner into her hand and stands with Luther and Nathan as Reala moves in position to block the front entrance toward the door outside. While she guards the entrance, Chloris is finally scene pulling her gag out of her mouth where it hangs around her neck like a necklace. She is relieved that everyone managed to get out of that in one piece.

"I'm seriously not in the mood right now." The glowered with a very deep sight that echoed into the distance. It was very obvious that she was upset and Whizzle's joke weren't helping to alleviate any of the stress her mind was being weighed with. The weight of the problem that faced her hit her like a truck and so fast that it was like as fast as a bullet train. Her mind was harshly being crushed under the gravity that she had to realize that her grandfather was going to pass away and there was nothing she could do about it. He refused to be treated pushing away any assistance that was provided to help give him relief. From his perspective she knew he was in a lot of pain, but it certainly did help when Whizzle made jokes. "Are you here to annoy me now? Right now I don't have time to bother with idle jokes. I must return to the manor and rest my head for a bit so if you don't have anything important to say then I'll be on my way. Also, this sword belongs to my my mother's father and no I didn't steal it from him? Do you take me for a hooligan? Don't compare me to you! He's... he's... he's..." Nevermind, it's not important!" She yelled as it was obvious she was very upset by the facial expressions she expressed along with the tears that roll down her cheek from her eyes.

"Looks like there's trouble." Luther said toward Nathan when he noticed that some of Aodeos men were engaged in battle. One of the women briefly pointed toward the house and lip synched to him that the woman he was looking was inside. He followed her advice when she told him to enter from the back since he could being lead into a trap. When he approached the door he noticed that someone had entered the door earlier due to the condition the door currently was in. Hoping that Nathan was still in tow he decided to go inside and made sure he kept a close eye out in case this other person set up an ambush. He had no idea who just broke into the house from the backdoor or when it had happened, but judging by the state, it couldn't have been too long ago.

Luther then stepped out into one of the largest rooms in the house announcing that he had brought Nathan then flipped on one of the lights as luminance gazed into the surroundings giving sight to the location, "Okay witch, I've brought the person you're looking for like you've asked so now you can hand over Chloris." He demanded toward the woman as he awaited for her to appear. Meanwhile hidden in the shadows in the house was a pink haired girl wearing a flimsy provocative tank-top along with a Chinese style dress that was slitted so you could see her legs plainly.

Chloris who was cutting away at her bonds finally freed her wrists from the coils of rope that bound them. Now all she needed to do was remove the coils of rope forcing her hands behind her back below her breasts and she could finally move her hands freely. She moved her arms upward slowly, but carefully as she hacked away at the ropes that held her hands behind her back. She tried to ignore the sinister delight of having a hostage that Malice seemed to be giving off by her behavioral aura.

Erialyss answered back toward Alexander as he dismissed himself from the Queen's presence. The Queen, herself, decided to return to what she was doing earlier and finish the preparations for the official coronation and as well put together a plan for a banquet which she would soon pass onto the head chef of her main royal kitchen. She had many invitations to send to various lands including ones that weren't a part of the continent that their nation was on. Anyone was invited and though she wasn't sure that Guardia or Rudoria would accept the invites, but she would send them out regardless. She knew from her sources that Guardia was holding their own official coronation which they invited Erialyss and her subjects to be a part of and honor with their presence for Clarence's sister Alice.

The Queen agreed to the invitation feeling sorry for the sister who lost bother her brother and sister to a devious sinister cult she knew all too well. Due to this event she heightened the security and banned certain people from going to Skyraphalia. Her new edict would only allow those who were born naturally in the country of Windgrace aside from a few noble house exceptions with permission to enter the Sky City. She also needed to make sure no one ever got their hands on their head defense network Z.E.U.S. A program she coded herself and the only known password to the defense network is known by her and anyone who she trusts discreetly with this information. Aside from her, the only other people she has told the activation codes to are her surrogate daughter Meira, Ranathia, Siianthaliae, Luther, Archduke Valerius, Rhadamanthus and a few other high governing officials including a few that make up the Edifice of Regents. That was news she passed onto the main council member of the EoR she talked to earlier who was Rhadamanthus. She informed him to change the restrictions and increase the security detail so that nothing like what happened in Guardia could ever happen inside her country. Sanctions were placed on the Island of Xi who were the ones held responsible by the EoR for the Guardia family holocaust and all goods were to be rerouted to Lumina and would be transported by airship from Windgrace's ally.

"Sir Alexander, the Queen wishes to have these." A soldier said stopping Alexander for a moment handing him a folder with documents in it. "Contains some very important documents inside it. The first is the new edict she has announced which is centered around security and securing the borders of Windgrace. This was also decided by the EoR and sanctions have been enforced against the Island of Xi though they are light ones. The second is your official invitation to the coronation. Good day, Lord Alexander." He dismissed himself before apologizing for interrupting him and returning to his post so he did not get into trouble by the guard captain.

"This time I will take you down!" Siia exclaimed at Aodeos with fury lit in her eyes. She had tried to take down the person once before, but he knocked her unconscious letting her live. She didn't understand why he healed her injuries that time and why he let her live the last time she crossed blades with him. Like last time she knew fighting him would not be easy. He was exceptionally skilled in combat and a very well-known strategist who could even pull people to his side making him one of the most dangerous sociopath terrorists in existence. She knew all too well how he used people and let them get consumed into his own madness and swallowed up into nothingness. Once again Siia drew Broniac into her hand and Miia drew into her which surprised Siia completely when she drew out one blade forged from complete darkness and the second from the luminance of the radiance. She knew the second sword was the legendary Sword of Sigma and the first was the Sword of Kreosus. The swords were dangerous in the hands of someone who could not control them and Miia somehow could use these swords like Savraj Zamora.

"Did anyone tell you, Siia? You look so cute when you're are in your youthful form. You look like a real lady mankiller in that form. Damn look at that body of yours!" Aodeos remarked still not taking any action where his last remark bemused Siia turning her completely off. She was not at all impressed by his sick disgusting humor where she let him know it by her cruel and harsh words afterwards. "A pedophile like yourself could never open my heart. You're an eyesore in my eyes."

Aodeos grinned as he motioned toward both girls to come at him which they did. He did not move at all and when their blades collides he managed to catch both of them. The first blade Broniac with his chain and the two blades Miia held with his scythe blade. "I must say, for being completely not human. You two are the most beautiful women I've ever laid my eyes upon." He answered with flattery as he spun around in a three-sixty degree angle trying to knock both women off balance, but only managed to knock them back where both trained girls backflipped landing on their feet and rose back to their feet. He smirked in admiration toward them both, "Impressive."

"Hiyah!" Melianth yelled as she tried to strike Duress only to have them move too quickly away, but managed to reveal that the person had long hair and cause a cut own their clothes which revealed Duress was a woman. All she could tell from what she saw right now while trying to remain focused is that Duress was a female adversary and that she had long jet black hair. She couldn't really see her face and her eyes were really difficult to see too. She did know that this woman was exceptionally skilled in the artistry of strategy.

She then wanted to test if Duress eyes were as quick as she could strike her sword. She decided to rely on one of her old techniques which she hadn't used in awhile which used the Lightning Sword technique specializing in fast stabs, slices and slashes with high proficiency. "Let's see if you can keep up with this! NEVERENDING MASSACRE OF DOUBLE SLASHES!!!" She yelled atop her breath as her sword strokes become faster than a normal eye could see and even Duress was having a hard time evading the fast striking ability of Melianth. Her slashes came at her like a blur and were afterimaging which made avoiding them even more difficult for Duress. She knew that Melianth was indeed a Master of the Sword if she knew the famous Raitoningusōdo Senryaku swordstyle. It was one of few famous swordstyles that was passed down any female that was related to the Exrius family line and it was only taught orally and never by shown strategy.
