Jack opened his eyes after a few minutes, "Elsa?" Krisstoff ran in Anna trailing behind him, jack didn't pay any attention to them only Elsa. "Thought krisstoff would home but you came why?" His voice weak from the ice that had gone through his system, his hand tightened around the staff.

Old man winter turned to the girl that asked it, "jacks going to be alright. Shadow wants him dead so instead of winter coming only chaos comes if he kills jack he'll weaken me to a state where he can kill keywords." He looked back down at jack then up to the girl, "just take care of him I can't be around all the time." With that he disappeared in a swirl of snow leaving the knocked out jack lying on his stomach with his fingers curled around the staff.

Iced

Snow swirled around the symbol, and solidifying into a figure a muscled old man with white hair and glasses, "who has summoned me?" Then he saw jack, quickly he got to Jack's side uncurling the teenage frost. "What happened to you?" Jack mouthed 'shadow,' he couldn't speak anymore. Old man winter saw the staff picked up the two pieces and the wood mended on its own. He curled Jack's fingers around it, before disappearing ice covered the staff taking it out of jacks system but still he was out for the most part.

Jack felt pain inside him, the staff was refusing to be put back together. Ice was building up in his system, he would freeze from the inside out he didn't like that idea, "old man winter....gave me the staff....he can only be summoned.....from the.....spirit of winter symbol." He weakly nodded his head toward the symbol he made on the back wall before curling up into a ball.

Jack clenched his teeth, "stay....away.....shadow found me....without the staff....my powers are unpredictable....and without it....I'll die." He was already having a hard time saying things through the pain that was going through him, he hurt every part of his body.

Jack kept strumming through the strings of the guitar, he knew the summer harvest was going on. He knew it had started, still he wouldn't go down there. He heard slow clapping, he looked up then scrambled back. "Shadow," shadow smirked "good you remember me." Jack swallowed, "marshmallow!" Shadow laughed at the stupid attempt "I already took care of that thing." Jack sent a shot of ice into the sky hoping krisstoff could see it, shadow shook his head grabbed jacks staff and snapped it in half. "Now instead of winter coming only chaos will take the place of winter" shadow laughed and went into the shadows. He would be back to check if he was dead.

Jack relaxed while he could, he had to fill the silence with something. He quietly made a guitar out of ice, testing the strings then made a pic for the guitar and started strumming. Before he had become who he was he player his guitar for his little sister his staff beside him as he streamed through the along he had wrote for his little sister. What he didn't know was he wasn't alone.

Jack looked up at marshmallow, "Elsa told me to come here said you could protect me from a guy called shadow I believe her words, that is all I have for you." He walked inside, seeing the damaged area of the palace he fixed it up it looked like knew the old throne room still had something missing. He figured it out and made the symbol for the spirit of winter he smiled at that.

Jack only nodded, he couldn't say anything at least not right now anyway. He and krisstoff both started heading there, "you know I haven't seen Elsa worry about anyone like that except for her sister what is it about you jack?" Jack only shrugged at krisstoff's question, "I don't know krisstoff I don't know." They soon had gotten there jack climbing the steps. "If you need anything just send up ice into the sky I'll come," jack nodded and waved as he watched krisstoff leave then he continued going toward the palace.

Jack cursed, "no matter where I lose shadow he always seems to pick up the trail he'll be here in a few days time before that time is up I have to move on he won't bother arendelle he'll just pick up my trail and move on." He turned his back to the darkening clouds, and walked back towards town. Even though krisstoff was still in Anna's hold he looked at her, "can I borrow him?" Anna let go seeing that pained expression on his face. He grabbed krisstoff once they were out of hearing range, "can you take me as far from the town as you can?" Krisstoff nodded and both of them started heading out.
