I am glad I was able to get back to catch up to this point. I say we give everyone another hour to catch up.

Veronica knew any escape attempt would be impossible, so she just went along with what was happening. She was old enough to have been to a regular doctor before and was only minorly embarrassed by the poking and prodding of the doctors.

The conversations happening across the room were intriguing, though she said nothing. She knew she would be able to talk later, and without tipping her hand to the staff of this facility. These people really need to learn that if they are going to oppose an authority that runs their lives, they need not talk about it in front of that authority. thinking that made Veronica feel smug, though she knew she was right.

The doctor examining her simply asked "What is your mutation? It is not as obvious as some of the others, we can detect the difference in cell structure and your increased brain activity but..." "Never really found out specifically, just figured out how to use it"

This is pretty good so far. I thought that @Carlsberg's character would be more evil but I like this, more interesting. I think it will go well when there are more of us.

I stop all communications immediately at the sudden startle. Compliance will do fine, I have no other choice. I will be sure to stay away from the red haired girl with that guy...come to think of it, I will avoid both for now.

"Here, put on these cuffs. Before you ask, they stop you from circulating energy and will shock you if you try." said a, presumably staff member, that came to my door.

Veronica decided that she needed to get the attention of the two in the other cell.

"Morse code, yes or no?" In faint flashes. "Sign language" with her hands. Veronica also sent two, one second long, waves to try to alert them, one radio and one gamma. They did seem to be talking at the moment anyway.

I don't mind most things as long as the GM is fine and we don't do anything to major.

Finally gathering the strength she stood up, warmed by a light layer of infrared energy flowing around her.

That must be sign language...

It had been years since Veronica had learned sign language, she once had a deaf friend who taught her, it was a good life skill apparently.

"We can use sign language while we are in here, takes less energy" She barely managed to remembered enough to do that.

As the world started to fade she noticed the new person nod. Now just drawing as much energy as possible through the glass (shifting it all to radio waves) while thinking of a message. Still slumping against the glass wall.

He actually knows Morse code? Well then, I need some way for him to communicate to me.

"Is there any way you can communicate to me?"

Veronica was half asleep at this point noticed someone else in another cell. She was close enough to be able to use some energy from the hall lights. She sent the message to the new male figure in Morse code "Do you know Morse code?"

Veronica was getting really tired and decided this would be the last attempt until she could gain more power.
