I'm down for a time skip
Joe nodded at his words, he wouldn't know. He hadn't been in that class since this was his first day. So this was wisdom of someone that already heard it. "That sounds cool. We could form a team, recruit a few other people like the classes you just mentioned. We can look for three others.", he proposed. It was good for someone experienced to be at his side. Perhaps they could even recruit that one girl that had beaten him down. They could form a team of three fighters and two supportive, one that healed and the other one that ensured that they could get that hit in, aka the binder.
Hmm, I'm thinking about what to mold my character in since there already is an offensive monster. I'll probable adjust depending on what I have in my team, but I'm thinking anti-magic.
Joe frowned, that sounded similar to his own fighting style. Though he didn't sacrifice his normal defense for it, he did care a little less about his evasion skills, loving to be all in his opponents face and load strikes with his hands, sneaking in a devastating low kick in as his opponent is focused on his hands. He underestimated her simply because of her looks, his mistake. He really seemed shook up, she must have been something else. Especially since he already heard of her before, that must have meant that she was some kind of legend around here. That was definitely interesting, especially since the guy was praising her so highly. "She fought exbeasts? That is so cool.", he couldn't wait to do that. "Well, my name is Joe. I don't remember catching yours either?", he sort of subtly asked. Pushing his for a handshake. "We should train together tomorrow, you can show me some fancy sword tricks I could use to up my hand striking and I could do the same to you in reverse.", he proposed.
I live in the Netherlands as well. So there you go.
"I see. You better not get owned after she disrespected you like that. Show her you're worth. You can tell me all about it later. I'm going to the dorms. I'll see you", Joe said. Taking a few steps forward before he stopped and turned back. Mouthing: "She's like two feet. This shouldn't be hard, right?", smirking before leaving again. He had heard of her before, she was apparently perfect in everything but had an attitude. This would be much more a challenge than Joe made it out to be. He hoped he would be fine, he wanted to get stronger after all. If he got beaten by a two feet little girl that disrespected him it would probable be soulcrushing. Joe knew he would have completely lost his self esteem. He relaxed against the front wall of the dorm, with a map in his hand taking everything in. He purposely choose to not go with the tour so he'd have to learn everything on his own. He worked up a sweat ten minutes ago, enough to have an actual effect but not enough to leave him aching for the training tomorrow. He already sorted out his room, so that wasn't a problem. Looking up, he'd notice that his previous conversation partner came back. His hands in his pockets walking casually. Joe waved to get his attention. "So, how was the fight? What's her fighting style like?", Joe smirked. "Probable defensive wasn't it?"
Oh snap. Sorry I was outside today. What did I miss?
Joe slowly felt his attention slipping with each word that the Dean spoke. Not to discredit him, he sure did have a charm with words but he caught the wrong motivation on Joe. He wasn't here for noble reasons like the others were, so it didn't quite capture him like it did with the students around him. He honestly was mostly here because he really liked fighting and they had one of the best hand to hand training programs he had ever heard of. Not to mention the thrill that fighting monsters would bring. The fact that it helped humanity was a side advantage that he welcomed with open arms. It's kind of like buying that cool car that you liked that happens to run on electricity. Sure, you think it's good for the environment and all, but it isn't the main reason you bought it. One thing that did punch him in the gut was the description of the Martial and Magi classes. "Those of you who were **blessed** with the **talents** of Magic!", he said. What the hell was that suppose to be mean? He blabbered on about the hard work of the Martial classes to become strong. You can see the obvious different in word choice between them. Nonetheless, he'd work hard to prove that he was even more useful than these acclaimed magi classes. Especially with his knockout right hand, a lot stronger than a fireball. Since today nothing special would be done, Joe thought it would be best if he went back to his dorm as quick as possible. Perhaps socialize with a few other people, something that could be beneficial. Either that or he would go to his room and just shadowbox and go to sleep. That was his plan if nobody was available to hang out with. Though he would refuse to chill with Magi. He looked around to see if something interesting would happen once more, determining that it wouldn't he made his way to to the dorms. Walking on a relatively fast pace he would notice that another male was walking the same direction he was. On a similar pace speeding the rest of the people that took a slower walk to observe everything around them. Talking to himself about how he wasn't strong enough. Maybe he was similar to Joe, here mostly to get stronger. "You aren't? Well, how are you planning to get stronger?", Joe asked honestly.
Alright, edited it.
**Name:**Joe Louis **Age:** 14 **Gender:**Male **Themesong:** Currently [Busta Rhymes - Calm Down FT Eminem](http://youtu.be/2Y5J3VUC9qM?t=55s) Later [Nas - Hero](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xvcXkKzd7Y) **Class:** Striker **Appearance:** A male with rough darker skin and short black hair in a crew-cut style. He is a little taller than average but won't turn heads when he walks with a long arm and leg reach and a muscular build that betrays his fighting style as a close range one. He has a tattoo of a blue Chinese type Dragon on the lower end of his chest and one of a boxing glove on his right arm. **History: ** Joe Louis was born as a normal guy that just happened to like boxing. This interest drew him into other martial arts like Dutch Kickboxing, wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. There was nothing really off about him or something special that might have happened in his life to motivate him to join the academy. He just really happened to like fighting and thought fighting against demons were cool. Lucky for him, he was born with the innate talent for chi and hand to hand martial arts, particularly stand up. He has a hatred for Magi. He feels that they're just fodder and that they're more loved by everyone and that they get unfair treatment in comparison. Normally he'll tolerate them and is able to work with them in missions but he'll absolutely lose his shit if they dare to do or say something that confirms his thoughts of perceived inferiority. **Statistics: ** Level - 1 HP - 10 (100) MP - 4 (40) Attack - 20 Magic - 5 Speed - 15 Accuracy - 15 Defense - 11 Evasion - 15 Resistance - 5 **Spells/Skills:** **Follow The Leader [2]-** A simple technique because Joe loves to keep it simple when he fights. Joe concentrates all his power in his fist and throws it with the attempt of finishing the fight in that same blow. However, he is easily susceptible to counter attacks if he misses because he puts all his momentum and power into it.. It adds 20 attack to the punch.(Command: "Guess it's time to get serious and end this fight. Not to be arrogant but it's over, you know that right?") Consumes 20 MP every time it is performed. (Has longer command for more power) (I'm saving the other level. I think I'll go an anti-magic direction and build up his resistance and magic stat to make him fight stronger against magic using opponents.)
