At first glance one would not believe that Ib and Mary were twins. But they were, born merely minutes apart. Their mother was a curator and their father an archaeologist. Busy with their jobs they rarely had time for their children seeing as they were away from home more than often than not. The twins were left to their own devices under the care of an uncle of theirs named Gary. They loved Gary, he was like an older brother to them.

Unfortunately on the twins 15th birthday the house caught on fire and Gary passed away. The girls, not having any other relatives to speak of and their parents separated from them by seas had no other choice but be sent to the academy.

Krune lived in a small apartment and went to school regularly, having some friends accompany him. He loves art in general, especially when it's accompanied with music. One day, his friend said that there was a art gallery that looked interesting and he suggested that Krune should go. So, he did, interested to what there was to admire and see in the art gallery.
