The Altreva Orphanage

"Come on Azzy, I'm hungry; lets go get a snack."

Azure looked up from her drawing as her twins voice drifted over to her. He was laying on his bed in the room they shared staying at the cieling with a bored expression on his face. He hopped up and shot her a grin as he held out his hand to her. She slipped on her gloves so her power wouldn't copy his when she touched him and slid her hand into his. Her twin grinned again and tugged her from their room and down the stairs into the kitchen. He went open to the fridge and it opened as he walked up to it. He looked inside.

"What do you want?" Alec asked Azure silently.

"Apples." She answered softly, her brother nodding as he pulled out two apples. He handed one to his sister and they went to the table, climbing into one chair. Azure was tiny as it was and didn't take up much room so they both could fit on the seat. Alec munched on his apple loudly, legs swinging back and forth happily while Azure ate hers more quietly.

There was a slight rustling and a tiny figure slowly stumbled out from the undergrowth. The small child rubbed her eyes sleepily as she trekked forward. Her small bat wings were wrapped around her in hopes of keeping herself warm but dressed only in a tattered white dress and being barefoot made it hard to preserve warmth as it was. Azure continued forward, hoping to find a place to hide before it got dark. Suddenly she heard voices in the distance. She froze mid-step and listened carefully. Her instincts screamed at her to turn and run but her human side grew curious. She stood there having an internal war before curiosity won out and she cautiously crept forward. She soon reached the place where the voices were coming from and she quietly climbed a tree and peered out from between the leaves. Two men (Jason and Ansen) stood in a clearing. Well, one of them looked like a man, the other had fur and looked more animal-ish so she wasn't sure about him. She turned her attention to the man and frowned. There was something about him that felt off. She leaned forward to get a better look but with her hand slipped and she tumbled from the tree, landing hard on the ground with a yelp.

She laid there dazed for a moment before she scrambled to her knees and backwards, pressing against the tree she had just fallen out of as she stared with wide crimson eyes at the two males before her; not even daring to breath as she waited for them to start yelling or attack her or something.

He is Bisexual.

He is very quiet and mostly keeps to himself. He rarely talks to people and will most of the time try to avoid them. He is very fearful of large crowds and will go out of his way to miss them. He hates loud noises and annoying people. Despite his demure behavior, he has a stubborn streak in him and will not bow down so easily. What he doesn't express with words, he does with facial expressions: mostly a emotionless look when he is faced with other people or a glare when he is annoyed.

He refuses to speak of his past and no amount of poking or prodding will make him tell.

He works part-time at the book store; its quiet and not packed all the time.

He has no relations to speak of.

Azure is very light and quick on his feet. He is also a fast study and loves learning new things.

Thanks. ^^ I was wondering if it would be possible for my character to run into the group in whatever forest or town they are in at the moment?

That third plot twist reminded me of The Tell-Tale Heart by Edgar Allen Poe for some reason xD

Azure has the ability to touch a person and momentarily copy their power. However, if she touches a different person she obtains their power but can not regain the previous person power unless she touches them again.
Alec has the ability to move objects with his mind as well as the ability to shift-shape into any animal her wants.
Both of them have a telepathic bond and can read each others feelings.

Their father left before they were born and when their mother realized how strange they were she left then on the steps of the orphanage and they have been there ever since.
