Alec's red patterns on his body flashed and soon the fire began to seem as if it was entering his body. He glared at Anzen. "Nice try." He snarled, completely unhurt by the flames.

Azure heard John's voice and nodded at what he told them. She took a few hesitant steps forward, hand out-stretched to feel for the cave. After a few minutes of fumbling she eventually she located the entrance and slipped inside, the air turning damp and musky. She kept a hand on the wall as she inched inside, sightless eyes staring forward.

Alec placed Azure gently on the ground and crouched protectively over her, a growl rumbling in his throat as he bared his fangs at Anzen.

Azure moved as silently through the forest as she could, ears on high alert. She paused ever few feet, trying to determine if she was being followed. When she was assured she was not being trailed she continued on her journey. She could faintly detect John's scent through the rain coming down and the blind girl used it like a beacon leading her to their rendezvous point. She stepped from the tress, his scent getting stronger. She heard Alyssa's voice come from above her and she glanced up, sightless eyes glowing slightly in the dark.
