The Experiment

The twins sat down though Alec continued glaring at the man standing in the middle of the room. If looks could kill, Vlad would have been six feet under a long time ago. Allen sat beside his twin, shoulders hunched and head bowed as he tried to make himself as small as possible.

Allen is a cold, stoic, and arrogant person who shows little regard to the lives of those around him. He is, more often than not, willing to leave those who slow him down behind. Despite his words, Allen frequently saves those around him(Because Azure asks him to and he will do anything for her), though he does it grudgingly and openly complains. Allen is more or less emotionless; only anger, annoyance, and dissatisfaction showing on his face, though, rarely he will reveal a small smile but only to his sister and only if they are alone. Allen has a very inquiring mind when there is something he cares about, but at the same time, he has almost no tenacity of purpose. If he becomes interested in something else, he will arbitrarily turn his back on what he's doing. However, despite all of this, the one and only person he will show kindness to is his younger twin Azure. He is fiercely protective of her and he will literally do anything to keep her safe. He loathes anyone touching her and is very liable to break a few hands and bruise some jaws if need be.

She is very shy and kind. She can never say a bad thing about anyone. Azure loves helping people and will do everything she can to make them smile. She has never had a boyfriend or love interest before in her life so she is very innocent about a lot of things(courtesy of Allen). She doesn't judge people and she can always see the good in people. If someone confides in her or tells her a secret she will take it to her grave so she can be very reliable. She is also honest. Even if it's something bad, she will not lie to someone, even though she will hate herself for hurting them with the truth. She can be really oblivious about a lot of things, especially when it comes to love/flirting. She also trusts way too easily. She also gets embarrassed and flustered way too easily. She can be very insecure about herself and her body and she tends to second-guess herself a lot. Azure can become upset very easily and is very sensitive; also being very clumsy and tends to trip over her own feet a lot.

One day when they were heading home from school, two boys started bulling her. The twins tried to walk away but when one of them grabbed Azure and jerked her back Allen lost it and punched him. Azure stopped him from beating them up more but the next day their mother got a call about the fight. Seeing as their parents had warned Allen not to get into anymore fights this was the last straw. The told him they were sending him away. Azure demanded she go with him and when she threatened to run away if they didn't they sent her along as well to the camp.

Azure is mute and is blind in her left eye.

Azure screamed Jason's name before she spun around to face the sentinel's. She raised her hands and thrust them at the robots, rocks from behind her raising up and slamming into the robots. More rocks followed and soon the robots were buried under the rumble. She whirled around and raced over to Gaara, running her hands frantically over him to check for injuries.

Her weapon has canisters with different kinds of dust in the chambers. Each dust has a different property that Azure can manipulate:

Azure~ She has a sheath she keeps her rapier in as well as a belt with canisters of Dust to refill her weapon.
Allen~ He has a belt he keeps his bullets in. He has different kinds of bullets that have different reactions when they hit things, some explode, some release small pieces of metal that fly out, some spray out water to put out fire, some release smoke.

An Arcane killed their parents when they were young. Allen never mourned the loss; h had never liked their parents to begin with. Ever since that time he had always admired the Arcane. When the Arcane killing began, Allen refused to kill them and instead joined their side. He had tried to persuade Azure to join his side but when she refused he told her she was no longer his sister and disappeared.

Azure is blind in her right eye, Allen is blind in his left eye.

Alec looked at his twin before he looked up at Katherin. "Allen could project what he sees into your mind! That way you could see like we do!" He said in an excited voice, throwing his arms around his brother who was blushing in embarrassment and looking at his shoes.

Allen and Alec followed after the others, Alec standing on his tiptoes to get a better look at the newcomers. He heard a voice behind him and he dragged Allen back to the gym. He saw the girl they called Katherin and walked over to her. "Hi! Can you really not see?" He asked curiously as he peered up into her eyes. "Alec! You can't just ask people that!" Allen exclaimed quietly to his twin.
