A small yelp of fear escaped Issa and she flinched back, her trembling increasing as she stared up at the large wolf with terrified eyes, too petrified to even answer him. She doubted any words would come out anyway.
Issa heard growling in the distance that seemed to grow closer and she trembled, pressing closer to the ground as she tried to hide. Her ears were flat against her skull and she couldn't help the whimper that escaped.

Issa, so caught up in playing in the snow, failed to realize that she had strayed away from Karou and didn't even notice when she crossed the border. She didnt notice however when the trees became unfamilar and she paused, eyes wide as she looked around. She whimpered, crouching down as she stared around fearfully.
Karou jolted awake, not realizing that she had been dozing. She paused then grew worried when she didn't hear Issa. She darted out into the snow, calling the pups name; her voice growing more frantic when she failed to find the young wolf.

Issa giggled as she leaped into the air, trying to catch the flakes drifting down. Her tail was wagging happily and she ran in a small circle before she rolled around in the snow. Karou smiled at the sounds of the pups happiness, settling down at the mouth of the cave where she could stay warm as well as keep track of Issa.
this...kinda crashed and burned...
