Issa went to the backroom where she attempted to distract herself by organizing books but try as she might she still a few tears roll down her cheeks. She jumped when she heard Michael's voice and nodded without turning around.

Issa jerked and looked at Don with shock. She blinked and looked down. She bit her lip and blinked back the tears she felt prick her eyes. "Errr...I-I better g-get back to the store." She said, turned and fled inside. Salem jumped from her arms and stalked back out to Don, glaring up at the man. "Say that again, I dare you." He snarled, tail lashing angrily.

Issa walked over to them, Salem still held in her arms. She gave Don a small smile before she looked at Michael with concern. "Are you ok? Are your wounds healed?" She asked worriedly.

Issa sighed and climbed out of bed, Salem watching her carefully. She changed into a light blue dress before she picked the feline up and exited her room. She hurried to the front door and down the stairs, worried about her store. She rounded the corner and paused when she saw Don and Michael.
