Alicen whirled at the hiss, bright blue eyes scanning their surroundings to try and locate the cause of his alarm. When she noticed his sword pointed at her she realized that it was she he was afraid. Her neko ears flickered briefly in irritation as she plopped down onto a log and began pulling out things for their supper. "Relax, I do not harbor the prejudice that angels have for demons. As long as you do not try and do me harm I do not have a problem with you." She said in an emotionless voice, not even looking at him. "Now, would you be able to conceal our fire? If not its old food until we reach an Inn."
Alicen reached the trees before him and seemed to disappear inside. There was a flicker of movement and she appeared again, hard to spot with her cloak blending her into the background. There was no crunch of leaves or snap of twigs to signal her trek through the brush. The first thing Halt had taught her was silent movement and she excelled at it. That and archery. She found a sufficient place for their rest and began to busy herself with setting up camp. "It would be ill-wise to start a fire in case the smoke is seen," She paused and glanced at him, "That is unless you have some sort of magic to conceal our fire?" She slipped her cloak off and her white wings glowed in the depleting daylight.

She stretched them out and sighed; they had been cramped up under her cloak all day.
Alicen shrugged once more. She could sense he wasn't telling her something but she wasn't going to press for answers. If he wanted her to know he would tell her. "The nearest town is two days walk so we are going to have to camp in the forest until we can find an Inn." She said as she continued walking down the road. Her strange cloak swirled around her as she walked, the colors brown, gray, black, and green; all swirling together to form a mottled look that let her blend flawlessly with the forest if she stood motionless.
The boy gave a smile and a laugh, throwing Echo off guard. Was she so funny to look at? A small girl wielding a scalpel like it could stand a prayer against the hunting knife he had. Or maybe he was laughing at her foolishness that she could go up against him. He was taller than her however he didn't know about her hidden strength and she planned to keep it that way until she had no other choice. She watched his face as he opened his mouth to answer her statement but something stopped him.

His eyes had widened marginally and Echo knew something was coming. She felt herself get grabbed and yanked around. She didn't scream nor she did thrash around. A small gasp did escape her as her eyes widened. Her mind whirled. No visible eye slots she could so jamming the scalpel in its eye was out. Her fist lashed out and struck the being in the snout, hopping to stun it. It paused, dazed before it growled and hurled her across the room.

Echo crashed into the metal wall and collapsed onto the floor in a heap where she lay dazed. She saw the creature start stalking towards her, probably to finish her off. It grabbed her by her throat and hoisted her into the air.
Echo took a peek out through the slight in the locker she was hiding in. Thanks to her small and compact body she fit easily inside. She was about to sit back down when the rustle of fabric made her freeze. She watched, wide-eyed as a boy she had never seen before crept into the room. A gasp escaped her before she could stop it and her hand shot up to cover her mouth but it was too late, he heard her. Her mind ran in circles trying to figure out a plan of action. It would be illogical to remain where she was in the locker. There would be no where for her to flee and he could easily trap her there.

She waited a moment before she burst out, small body nimbly dodging away from him swiping up the first thing her hands came in contact with. The scalpel she pointed at him was pathetic in itself, especially going up against the blade she saw glinting in his hand however she brandished it like a sword. If an opening came up she could at least take his eye out and flee. Assuming he had just arrived she knew the layout of the station better and would surely loose him in all its twisting hallways. However, the alien and other scavengers worried her but she would just have to cross that bridge when she came to it.

She kept her chin high as she stared at him, trying not to show her fear. "It you're looking for medical supplies I'm sorry to say that the scavengers have cleaned it all out." It was a lie; she knew where most of it was. The doctors kept it in a room that can only be accessed by her or a Working Joe. It was to prevent people from just taking what they wanted. However she wasn't about to tell him this. For all he knew she was just a scared human hiding out in a room. She was going to use that to her advantage. People always underestimated woman and he was probably no different. An easy prey, she assumed, with her hand shakily gripping the scalpel and pointing it at him like it would do much.
"Who said I would be waiting on you?" She said in an indifferent voice as she tossed him his pack. The king waved to them as they headed towards the gate leaving the castle grounds. Alicen saluted him before exiting out, slinging her bag over her shoulder. "So, where will you first stop be in defeating your father?" She asked over her shoulder as she strode down the road, wanting to cover good ground before nightfall.
Alicen gave a delicate shrug of her shoulders. "It's your quest, I'm just here to make sure you behave and are unimpeded on your journey." She said. "So, since you're dead set on the main roads would you want to go on foot or by horse? Either way is fine with me." They were each handed a pack with rations, a bed roll, flint, a canteen and other things they might need on their way. "Well, are you ready?" She asked.
“The patient is flat-lining!”

The nurses’ panicked cry rang through the room and Echo jumped into action. She appeared by the women on the table and began chest compressions to get the blood flowing to the heart. Doctors and nurses were hurrying to and fro trying to figure what was the cause for the stopping of the heart.

Echo keep a keen ear on the men in coats conversing in loud voices next to her but she mainly focused on trying to keep the woman’s heart going.

“Her blood pressures’ dropping too much!” Another nurse called. Echo keep doing the compressions however the patient suddenly began jerking and thrashing around. Echo was forced to back up or else be hit by flailing limbs.

The doctors started shouted and some tried to hold the woman down as she continued to spasm. A cracking sound filled the air and Echo looked at the woman on the table. Her shirt had been removed and the girl could only watch in horror as the skin on her chest bulged until a great rip filled the air. Blood splattered the men and a…a…thing leaped from the table and disappeared down the halls. There were shrieks as it passed people while the medical personnel started after it in shock, the dead woman now cooling on the table.

~Le time skip- three hours later~

Echo huddled in a corner of one of the rooms in the medical bay. Her clothes were soaked in blood though it wasn’t hers. Three hours after that beast escaped to somewhere in the facility the killing began. People ripped apart, faces torn off and holes being stabbed through stomachs and chest. What people were still left alive were dodging Working Joes who seemed to have malfunctioned when the station went offline and were now killing people and salvaging what they could. It was every man for himself now. She had seen a man trying to help his friend who had a twisted ankle get his head blown off just for the bandages in his pocket.

She had been standing right beside a doctor when the creature had leaped from a vent in the ceiling and stabbed him right through the chest before dragging him away, leaving a trail of blood. Echo had hide in this room and had stayed there, too scared to move. She recognized the shakiness of her limbs but couldn’t understand why her body seemed unable of movement. She had tried time and time again to stand but she folded right back down to the ground. The only remaining doctor had locked himself away somewhere in the Bay.

The girl curled into a tiny ball, wrapping her arms around herself as she waited, quiet and still.

Especially feelings of like, love, etc.

She is very quick and light on her feet as well as strong. She is stronger than a human however not by much. She is very good at hiding and sneaking around which comes in handy when everything goes to hell.

She is very skilled in the medical arts.
"I have just been from the main roads. What's not completely taken over by bandits has become set up with road blocks. With a Ranger or not they will not allow a demon through alive. Yes, I know you can take them but it won't exactly help your quest if people are too terrified to come near you and shoot first and ask questions later. It is best to remain unseen. Fear has spread throughout the land and a demon traipsing down the main road will not exactly bring joy." She answered as she exited the stables. A servant hurried over and stated that everything was ready to depart.
