Arabella had her head down, absorbed in the book she was reading. She blinked and surfaced from the world of the novel upon hearing shocked gasps and cries. The 14 year-old glanced up and frowned when she noticed that their science teacher was gone. She looked at the girl that was sitting next to her. "W-What's going on?" She asked quietly. "Mr. Taylor just vanished! One minute he was standing there and the next minute poof!" Arabella blinked at that information before she got up and peeked outside, hearing commotion from the other classrooms and she saw more kids poke their heads out of the door.

Arabella has been curled up on the window seat, leaning against the window as she stared at the outside world. She had been doing that for 11 years, having never really been allowed outside. When the bell rang suddenly she squeaked, jumping almost a foot into the air from surprise. With a sigh she got up and trudged to the testing room.
