Skypaw turned her sightless blue eyes in the direction of Puddleheart, her mentors scent and the sound of her pawsteps having reached the young cat before the Medicine cat did. The young apprentice shrugged her tiny shoulders, ears pricking at the sounds coming from the other side of the camp. It appeared that Sparrowstar and exited her den. "I woke up early and couldn't go back to sleep so I decided to get up." She mewed, turning her attention back to her mentor.

Lila cried out and covered her ears when a loud explosion rang out as one of the walls crumbled down. The neko-girl gripped Jason's hand tightly as she was yanked into their living room. "What do we do?" She whimpered, pressing close against him.

Karou had been sitting in her corner, wide eyes fixed on the t.v. Her face was pale and she was trembling but no matter how much she wanted to she couldn't tear her eyes from the horrible things she was seeing. When someone appeared in her field of vision , Karou looked up at the girl with blank eyes. She blinked for a few moments before tears welled in her eyes and she burst into tears, the shock having finally worn off and fear and horror taking it's place. She hugged Mary close to her, sniffling as tears spilled down her pale cheeks.

Skypaw slowly nosed her way out of the Medicine cat den, still unused to any ground that was not in the nursery. However, the tiny, blind kitten was learning her way bit by bit, having just been newly apprenticed. She raised her head and scented the air, detecting that a patrol was returning. She also could detect that no fresh-kill was brought with them and her belly gave a very small grumble of disapproval. Skypaw sighed softly and padded forward a few steps, feeling a sad pang fill her as she realized just how empty the camp was. She had only been a very tiny kit when the clan was attacked but she had heard what had happened from older apprentices and warriors and it saddened her every time to think about what they had lost.
