"I'd say that there was a way out, but then I would be lying..."

Fallen Shadows Medical Research Society has been capturing and containing supernaturals for over twenty years. They tell the media that they're trying to cure these 'poor creatures' and make them normal again. Little did the public know that that was all a farce and their real goal was to experiment on these beings to try and harness their powers in hopes of making them a weapon. The facility is more like a prison, with no hope for the prisoners to ever see the light of day again. The supernaturals are all put in this one big dorm, with rooms that holds two people each, a living room, bathrooms in the dorm and a kitchen.

The rest of the building holds labs for testing, a library and some rooms for scientists that have to spend the night. Guards patrol the hallways and corridors, equipped with tasers and cattle prods- yes cattle prods in case someone tries to escape. But of course, there is no escape. How can there be when there are no actual doors, just walls that slid back, and no windows anywhere but the faculty dorms?

The supers are also subjected to wearing collars that nullify their powers slightly. There is also a barrier around where the supernaturals are staying as well as in the testing rooms and the hallways leading there, so no one can teleport in or out. Or use any other means of moving from one place to another without physically walking.

Karou is a very sweet and shy girl. She would rather spend her time surround by books than surrounded by people. She can be very curious at times and that gets her in trouble more often than not. She is rather skittish and jumps at the slightest moment or sound. She is very clumsy and cant walk across a flat surface without tripping or stumbling at least once. She tends to become very flustered and tongue-tied around men though so she usually avoids the other gender for fear of becoming a blushing, stuttering idiot and making a fool out of herself. She blushes rather easily and tends to hide her face when she does, causing herself to blush even harder.
