Lydia is very shy and kind though she is so shy to the point where she can't really talk in front of other people. She tends to blurt a lot of things out without realizing it or thinking about her words. She also gets embarrassed and flustered way too easily; often blushing and hiding her face. Being as innocent as she is to the world, she trusts way too easily and is oblivious about a lot of stuff, especially when it comes to flirting/love or basically any interest thrown her way. She can be very insecure about herself and her body and she tends to second-guess herself a lot. Lydia can become upset very easily and is very sensitive; also being very clumsy and tends to trip over her own feet a lot. Despite all of this however. Lydia loves helping people and will do everything she can to make them smile. She looks at the brighter aspects in life and tries not to dwell on negative thoughts. Lydia has a habit of thinking out-loud. Lydia also puts others needs before her own and in most cases she reacts without thinking of her own well-being: if someone is being hurt, Lydia will immediately try and protect them with any means possible without even considering herself. She is very, very selfless. Lydia can be very curious and is very easily captivated and awed by even the simplest of objects and things. She is very much like a child in a way.

Lydia is one of a set of twins, she has a twin brother who is a few minutes older than she is and her being the younger sister. Lydia was different, she was born blind. Being blind limited Lydia in a lot of things but that didn't stop from trying to be independent. Unfortunately, this didn't work out too well and just caused more trouble for her brother, further adding to Lydia's guilt. She tries to tell her brother that she would be fine but her parents refused to let her go anywhere without her brother. She also had to learn how to control her powers without sight. She has gotten fairly good at it but she still accidently freezes random things she touches.

Lydia was born blind and she tries not to burden her brother too much but it doesn't always work and she feels bad that he has to care of her instead of focusing on himself.

๑Brief Personality:
Lydia prefers to be in the background and out of the spot light. She is incredibly shy and hardly talks to anyone besides her friends. She is very sweet and kind. Her passion lines in the arts: Photography, Drawing/Painting. Unfortunately she has two left feet so dancing is out of the question. She likes capturing moments with her camera and never seen without it around her neck. She can startle very easily and she gets very flustered around men, where she tends to start stammering, blush bright red before she finally just hides her face in embarrassment. She is also very good at singing but she is way too embarrassed to sing in front of other people.

๑Brief History:
Lydia has been living in the same town for her whole life. She never had many friends, mostly because she was too shy to make any. She normally blended in with the background; people would honestly be surprised to learn that yes, she was in fact in their class. She hardly ever spoke so people never noticed her. They would honestly think her mute if not for the rare times she would answer a teachers question in her normal soft, quiet voice. No one ever knew what went on at home: that her mother left when she was five and her brother spent all his money on gambling and women and her father spent his on liquor. Lydia was abused both mentally and physically and mentally on a daily bases and so she has very little confidence in herself. Thankfully, her brother and father only hit her in places that are easy to hide, like her back, shoulders, sides, and stomach. The only bright thing in her life was when Tris moved to town. She is the only one Lydia ever opened up too and soon the two became best friends. Tris is the only one that really knows what's going at home.

She is terrified of water, having had an accident involving water when she was younger. She refuses to go near it. Bathes and showers are ok but pools/lakes/oceans are way out of the question. She also hates loud noises, thunderstorms and the dark.
