Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

When he arrived at the gym with Liz, Kyo looked toward the housekeeper for instructions before going to place his tablet somewhere safe. He couldn't very well carry it around while doing this activity, after all. Picking up one of the ropes, he examined it for a moment, wondering if it was long enough before looking around to see where would be a good place to begin using it. He hadn't tried to jump rope in...he didn't know how long. He remembered how the movement was supposed to go, but that was about it.

Kido looked back down and continued wrapping the wounds. "I'm sorry. I won't let it happen again." He finished bandaging the first leg and moved on to cleaning the gashes on the other one. "I'm glad that he stopped them. I'll have to thank him later."

Since nothing seemed to be coming from the hallway after all, Runo turned his attention back to the girl and...oh, there was another figure kind of similar next her now. But this one had fuzzy ears and a tail, like a woodland creature he had heard of. Having never seen one before, though, he was very curious about this one that seemed so similar to the human. He looked closely at it for a minute before turning back to the girl. She seemed to be speaking to him now, though he noticed that she was speaking differently than she had been a moment before. Gwen? So that's her name. It's very...human, I guess? Probably because of the language, though.

The merman cocked an eyebrow at Tanikazi's comment. Well, it wasn't his common language, so maybe the furred one had a point. Still, that just made things more fun for introductions. He might enjoy this. Placing a hand on his chest, Runo looked straight at the girl and opened his mouth, releasing a string of dolphin-like clicks and whistles. He waited for a moment, hoping to see her reaction before smiling. "I think in your language, though, 'Runo' would be a close enough translation."

"Ah! Willis, you're so loud!" Lucifer's hands shot up to protect his ears, which had flattened against his head. "And that's very mean of you to say! My cooking isn't that bad! I made the scones this morning, too, and those clearly aren't causing any problems." He pointed to the one in Liz's hands, clearly looking at least a little sad at the thought that someone would be that offended by his efforts in the kitchen. "Anyways, good sir, that there is a thermos. Its function is to contain beverages of usually the particularly hot or cold-- Poison? Are you mad? I can't poison my master! That's unspeakably ridiculous!" The pale man gave an almost distraught look at the thought. Poison? Why? Why would he do such a thing? How could he, even? There were a lot of rules in place that would keep him from attempting such a thing even if he did possess the state of mind to do so. And he certainly didn't.

"Well?" Kido poked Natsumi's cheek. "What's your answer, then? If you don't hurry and decide, the event will start without us and we'll both be placed in time out, you know. You aren't exactly in a very good position, either, so I doubt that they'll be lenient to either of us." Really, Kido was getting anxious, even if he spoke nonchalantly. He really wanted to make sure that Ivy was okay, but Kyle had warned everyone to let him speak to her first and the activity starting was not helping his preoccupied mind. He didn't want to get in trouble, but he didn't want his friend to be upset, either. "So, you'll help me, right? Because it's a kind thing to do, right?"

Being Human

After a few short minutes, Lucifer returned to the front of the café and moved quickly back to the table where he had left the other two. "I found it! It took me forever to finish the formula, but I think I've got it this time!" The catboy placed a fairly ordinary-looking silver thermos on the table in front of Liz. Opening it would reveal some sort of liquid that, even though it was clear, had a sort of pearl sheen to it. "If it's not too much trouble, will you please try this for me? And let me know how it is, okay? If it's done right, it should be very helpful."

She knew she would be in worse shape if he hadn't interrupted the administrators. "Try to go easy off Dante. If he hadn't come in when he did the administration wouldnt have spy topped when they did."

"What?" Kido looked up from the gashes he was bandaging on one leg. "Why was Dante at the administration? And when?" This was certainly news to him. What would possess someone to go willingly to meet people who would do something this cruel? And they were going to do worse things? Did they want to actually kill their students?
