Kyo attempted swinging the rope he held himself, managing to jump it a few times before he got caught on the rope and tripped. It was a bit embarrassing to hit the floor, but he tried to brush it off and stand up again. Pretty soon, he was jumping again, but got stuck again. Jumping rope was harder than he thought.

It's all fine! Making friends is a good step, so now is a good time for this. I will have Val smite any insta-romance. With an air horn or something obnoxious.

"I'll admit that it's not easy, but it has its moments." Val nodded in response to Nina's comment. "It should be much easier with an assistant. Perhaps you might be able to help Young Master Marlix with his wardrobe in the future? And please be careful, you have no idea exactly how many battles that have been waged in this house over dessert." He smiled at the rest of them. "Well, it seems as if everything is going well, so I will be taking Nico to find a uniform while the rest of you get better acquainted. The meal should be prepared in forty minutes, so please let Young Master Rex know if you see him again." After giving a deep bow, the butler left the room, starting for the stairs. "This way, Nico, if you please."

While the others continued talking, Val quickly left the room and returned a few minutes later with a bowl of tomato soup. "I hope that you enjoy, madam." As soon as he had it placed in front of Lilly, he moved quickly to assist the other servants in taking care of the requests made by the others, filling up glasses and delivering dishes to their proper places. He gave a bow as soon as it seemed that everything was in order. "If you require anything else, please feel free to call. I hope that you all enjoy your meal."
