Supernatural Murder Mystery Dinner

Mocha looked over her shoulder as she heard a voice she didn't recognize. "Oh, hello! Did you also receive the letter? I was pretty surprised by it, to be honest." She turned to face him fully, giving a smile. "My name's Mocha, it's nice to meet you..." She trailed off as she noticed the tail behind him. That was...oh dear. "Um...are there others coming? Do you know?" She tried to keep a straight face and keep from letting any trace of fear show, but inside, she couldn't help panicking. Foxes were predators, after all, so this was definitely not an ideal situation so far. She needed to make sure to have an escape route just in case...

The Pyramid

"W-what's going on? Xicca?!" Runo continued panicking, still making a lot of dolphin-like sounds and calling out to his companion. "Where is he? Is he even here? Are we trapped? What should we do?" He looked around frantically, but found nothing to help him. "I have to get out somehow! I need to make sure he's alright!"

"I wouldn't lie to Ma-- Miss Liz. Not intentionally. What would make you say that?" Why can't I stop talking? This isn't supposed to be happening! I thought I fixed this! He scratched the back of his ear for a moment and looked away, but soon returned his attention to Liz. "How is it? Does it taste like anything? I don't expect anything to happen just yet, but I'm sure it should be fine when it does. There's nothing inherently dangerous in the mixture, after all."

Orphanage for Supernatural Kids

Kyo led Pyktis and Katherin to a pair of empty seats near each other before moving to sit just a bit further away in another free chair. He placed his tablet down on the desk and looked around briefly before looking back to the housekeeper for further instruction. Still no Liz. I hope that she will be okay. And that she will not be in trouble for skipping this class. I don't think that she needs any more stress right now.

Mocha wasn't sure what to make of the letter at first, but it sounded like an interesting idea for a game. As long as there weren't actually people being murdered, of course. That would be kind of dark.
She giggled at the post script message at the end of the letter. How funny! Perhaps this would be fun.

Eventually, the long-eared girl would find herself staring up at the mansion mentioned in the letter, both curious and excited to see what the message was all about. Who knew? Maybe she would like the game after all.

Kyo tucked his tablet under his arm and took both Pyktis' and Katherin's hands to lead them to the classroom. Katherin probably knew the way by now, but it made more sense to the silent boy to hold hands if they were all going together. As they walked, he wondered what they would be learning that day.

"I-I don't need that basic! I'm just confused at your use of the words, that's all! You could mean anything by 'supernatural' or 'super powers.'" The slightly short boy's face seemed to take on a slightly red hue, though whether it was out of embarrassment or something else was anyone's guess. "This sounds like a game tutorial...but a home away from home? That's...peculiar." He ran a hand through his hair as he thought about this. Maybe he could get them to let him stay for a bit. At least until he decided on his next move, anyway. He didn't particularly like the idea of camping in the woods on his own again. "Well, if you know where the counselors are, then, I guess I should go speak with them."
