"I do remember that you mentioned that we might try music lessons at some point?" Kyo typed out after another minute. "Does the offer still stand?"
Honestly, he liked the idea of learning how to play an instrument. Or maybe people could learn how to sing. Not him, of course, but he was curious whether the others had the capability. Either way, either music or art could be good for safely expressing themselves, right? They might be less likely to react to things quite so explosively as he had seen in the past if they had their own ways of coming to terms with things.

"Sleeping aid?" Runo looked around again, a repetitive action that seemed to be one of the very few he could do under these circumstances. "They could have at least given me a larger tank or something..." The merman pouted, but pushed himself up to the top of the tank again to take in some of the air while he still had the chance. Considering how long he could have been out last time, though he still wasn't sure how long that was, he knew that he didn't want to be put under again. Especially since he had just woken up.

"Why do they want to punish us so much, I wonder? If they actually wanted us to follow rules, they would have at least given us a handbook or something, I would think. What did we do to them?" Kido started pushing the food around his plate, frowning by this point. "I just want to go see Papa and Iska...and I want to be able to hug people without them getting hurt..."

Kyo nodded as he stood up fully with Liz on his back and started towards the exit of the cave. On the way there, he noticed two guards lying dead at the entrance, but didn't really stop to examine them. He figured that Dante had to do something to get in there, after all. Although, that didn't make the sight any more pleasant...

Get over it. You've seen worse in the past month.

Ah, Nightmare. Clearly the compassionate one as always. Kyo rolled his eyes at the demon's apathy and continued in the direction that Dante had pointed out, keeping his senses on high alert for any more of the guards. He had been caught once before, after all, and he didn't want them all back in the cage.

The short boy looked up from the food he was slowly shoveling into his mouth and tried to smile at the girl. "I'm alright." He reassured her with a sigh. "It's everyone else that I'm worried for. I don't even know what's going on half the time."

The boy shook his head, trying to refocus on the matter at hand. "So, do you really think that you can track the missing people with that, then?"
