Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

It's no problem, I just wanted to make sure that my next post makes sense. Thank you for that.

"Umm...not to sound dumb. But you see, the main problem with me and I think with Kat is that whatever we have learned is more from experience than practice or process. Throughout our lives we have had so many such experiences that these calculations are more instinct than anything. So I simply can't narrate how I can calculate whatever I could." Py said in an earnest tone.

Kyo took a moment to think about this, but...it didn't make that much sense to him. A ten dollar note wasn't a twenty dollar note...but ten more would create an equality...that was all that was needed to be known, right? And when it came to addition and subtraction...that was kind of an automatic process, wasn't it? Something plus something made another number because that was just how much would be there when the amounts were counted together, right? And wasn't it better to learn from experience than theory? What was he missing?

Although...as long as it was correct, the process wouldn't even matter, right? He shook his head and started typing again; he must have misunderstood what Pyktis was trying to explain and needed more information, clearly. "Pyktis, would you give me another example?

"I understand, Master. I'm sorry for that, it wasn't at all my intention to cause suspicion." Lucifer smiled sheepishly as he continued toward the door to the counter in front. "I'll be looking forward to your return, though! Perhaps I'll have more answers for you then." Pushing the door open as best he could, he held it for the other two to go through before he would let it close.
Where should I assume that these knives are aiming for?
"I see...this guardian, we haven't been introduced to him, have we?" As far as she was concerned, she couldn't remember having met any sort of caretaker besides maybe the butler. Did he count? She somehow felt like the boy was referring to someone else. She hadn't even imagined that there was someone else in charge here, but then again... "He's not here right now, is he? Or did I miss him?"
Ruko nodded to his brother and left the room, satisfied that he seemed to know what to do. Lunch would probably be starting soon, so he made his way down the hallway toward the dining room. He wasn't sure what to think about the incident he had just witnessed, but Marlix would be able to handle it. He was pretty level-headed when it was important, as far as he could tell. Or maybe he was just too easily flustered himself...

Shrugging to himself, the brunette eventually reached the dining room and took a seat at the table to wait for the others. It seemed that not everyone was there just yet, so perhaps he wasn't too late.

And thst had gone alright so she opened her door to her room. She went to the desk and picked up the paper where she had been trying to make a list of rules. "It isn't much. But it's a staring point." She said handing him the short list. 1. Don't be late2. Don't miss class3. Don't touch others 4. Adminstration can and will change its mind. 5.

Kido took a good look at the paper, trying to memorize what was written there. Four rules so far., an an expects fifth..but that couldn't be all that they had to worry about. The fourth rule seemed to sum up the rest of that pretty well, though; if they changed their minds a lot, then finding definite rules to follow would be difficult. Still, this did give him at least some idea as to what kinds of things they would be called for. It was more than he ha known before.

After a minute, he nodded and handed back the paper. "Thank you, this is helpful. Um...has it all been trial and error for people up until now? I guess it probably has if they never said the rules, though, huh? Um..." The short boy shifted for a moment, still thinking. "I guess I don't really know what to ask. I'm not certain that questions get anyone anywhere here, anyway."

Runo sat at the bottom of his tank, just waiting. The gas wasn't really that big a deal to him since he had to hold his breath underwater anyway, but it did mean that he probably wouldn't be seeing anyone else for a while. While his resemblance to the dolphins his pod often associated with meant that he couldn't exactly breathe underwater like some of the more scaled merpeople of legends, he still had the ability of the other water mammals to hold his breath for a very long time. Still alone with his thoughts, he hardly noticed the odd beetle that entered the room briefly.
Isaac is accepted! I'll edit the first post tomorrow, so we should hopefully be able to start soon.
Merry Christmas! I hope that everyone has a lovely holiday!
