Bio

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Like werewolves? No, wait, that requires a full moon...uh...like underneath someone's bed, then.
Bump!
"I can't leave you here! What if he comes back? You're already badly hurt!" Chibi-Kido whispered back. "What if you disappear, too? I don't want that!" He tried to hug one of her arms, wary of the injuries he could see there. "I don't want to leave, because I'm scared that you won't be here later. They never are, and I can't keep that scary guy from getting back in. Why is he even here?"
Chibi-Felice stared at the two throughout their interaction. Weird. Then again, what had he really expected? Nothing was normal here. It never would be.

After a moment, he attempted to signal to the girl, Desdemona, he remembered. "Oi, ragazza! Vorrei una contratto." ("Oi, I want a contract.")He didn't know if she was really serious about not wanting to fight the other boy, but he wasn't unwilling to match him, provided he didn't get absolutely nothing out of it. Looking over at Roxy again for a moment, he blinked slowly before pointing to her and turning back to Desdemona. "Puoi lavorare con lei, ma vorrei un favore." ("You can work with her instead, but I want a favor for taking your place.")

The merman continued to watch in shock and slight fear, not comforted by the second subduing of the furry-eared one or the fact that none of his questions were answered. Though, considering the situation, he couldn't really blame them for ignoring him. Seeing that the others soon had everything under control, he sat back with a sigh, resigning himself to watch for the moment and periodically wonder about Xicca's well-being. If he wasn't here, then hopefully he was safe. Runo just hoped that he wasn't too lonely. It was always awful when his companion upset, even just thinking about it have him a terrible feeling.

Hey, everyone! I posted this in Off-Topic as well, but I want to spread the word as quickly as possible since there's not a lot of time for this. Also, I apologize if this is a bad place to put this thread!

So, I got this crazy idea when I woke up in the middle of the night, and it's probably going to sound weird because I don't explain things that well sometimes or it's just weird, but bear with me for a few short minutes?

Okay, so we all know that a new year is coming and all, and from what I've seen, general morale on the site has been everywhere since the great Christmas crash last year. Especially with the, thankfully much smaller, recent crashes.
I've seen a lot of debate among members about whether it's worth it to stick around or move completely to new communities where they probably don't have to worry about these things as much. (Or something like that; please remember that this is just what I've seen.)

I personally love the guild despite its various problems. And I can't speak for everyone, but I know that there are a bunch of people who feel similarly.

...Which brings me to my idea: What if we all put something short along the lines of -"Mahz, I'm in!"- in our signatures to show our solidarity among those of us willing to stay with the guild for another year? We could try to get as many people in on this as we can before January 1st and use it to show our appreciation for the hard work that Mahz and the admins put in to keep this site open for us, even if it still has some issues from time to time!

Thoughts or interest? If you like it, feel free to put -"Mahz, I'm in!"- somewhere in your signature. We don't have a lot of time, but I think that it would be fun to get a bunch of people together in spirit to try this if possible.

Thanks for reading! I hope that you all have had some lovely holiday celebrations and that everyone will have an enjoyable new year!

Chibi-Felice gave a tiny smirk as the other boy crushed the figurine shaped like Vlad. It have him a nice feeling. He wasn't entirely sure what to make of the power, though, since he couldn't rightly tell what the material was. He got the feeling from the guards that it was something particularly dangerous, though.

His brought his face back to its usual scowl when the second girl made her request regarding her ability's performance, which probably looked a bit out of place with the doll-like face and body the icy-haired boy now exhibited. The way she acted toward the rest of the group made it seem like she wanted to cause trouble, and her power display turned out to be quite eerie, but he didn't spend too much time focused on her. Rather, he had been distracted by the corpse when it was first brought out. The fact that he couldn't recognize who it had been was a bit of a relief, but the curiosity of who this would have been if they had lived did stick in the currently tiny boy's mind for a bit longer. At least, until the body started moving, when he had to try his hardest to resist the urge to cross himself again during the rest of the display. Well, that's not something you see every day...

At Vlad's new set of instructions, the boy took another good look at the three other experiments in the room, unsure of who he should pair up with. Honestly, Roxy would probably be the least problematic and he really did want to see what would happen if the other two went against each other, but he wasn't sure how he felt about fighting her. Perhaps he should wait to see their preferences...
Just as she was starting to get better used to the scary atmosphere, the sound of what she thought to have been a gun shocked a small scream from her throat. She would surely be embarrassed about it later, losing what little composure she thought she had over the effects for a game, but right now she only managed to clutch tighter to whoever it was that she had accidentally grabbed when the lights went out.

When she heard Zack's voice inquiring about everyone else's safety, she swallowed and did her best not to sound too shaken by the events. "I'm fine, thank you. I'm sorry about that." In the back of her mind, she worried slightly that her scream might have kept the others from listening properly and that they might miss an important clue because of it. "What about everyone else?"
