The boy flailed a bit, almost dropping the daisies and getting really close to knocking over the other vase as well. "Hey, be careful! We don't want another one broken." Quickly placing the daisies in the other vase, he turned around to peer over at the girl with the key caught in her hands. "What are you doing? Did you find something?"

Curse of the Beasts

Alright, now to get Elizabeth to the mansion, can she start out either at the edge of the woods or somewhere in the woods? I'm going to have Val make a few announcements before leaving the occupants of the mansion alone to run "errands". Once that happens, we could either have him bring her to the mansion, or one of the beasts could wander a little too far and run into her if we have any volunteers for that. Of course, those are just a couple of possibilities, so I'm completely open to suggestions if anyone has any other fun ideas for this.

The boy seemed a bit surprised as he was suddenly dragged somewhere, but soon noticed that they were in the living room with a broken vase. He looked curiously at the broken shards with the daises scattered all around. "Oh...well, I guess it can't really be fixed, then. It seems like a waste to just leave the flowers, though. Maybe I can move them to a different vase for now." The odd boy crouched to clear away some of the vase fragments before picking up the strewn daisies, unaware of something silvery fall to the rug as he stood to move them to another vase on the table in the center of the room.

Danny "Put up yer fuckin' fists, put down the fuckin' gizmo, or I'm gonna punch ya' in the fuckin' throat." He growled deeply, he wasn't really enjoying this conversation, and he really wanted to deck this kid flat, but he wasn't the kind of guy to cheap-shot a bastard.

A few more taps later, the tablet read off another message. "I'm afraid that's not possible; I cannot fight in my current physical condition, which I am sure that you have noticed. Even if that were not the case, it would be impolite to the young lady who lives here to fight in her home." "Please excuse me, I must go to the meeting that Miss Katherin has requested of us to attend. I do not wish to keep her waiting." Tucking his tablet under his arm and keeping the hand of the opposite one on the edge, the silent male bowed slightly with the same neutral expression before turning to leave. Walking at a reasonable pace, he tried to catch up with the group before he completely lost sight of where he was supposed to go. He wasn't entirely sure that the man would leave him alone, but Nightmare was already acting a bit strangely and the boy wanted nothing more than to understand what was going on already. Even the information that he had previously been given was quite limited, and whatever Secrets knew would probably be helpful. Besides, he was tired. He didn't want to nod off before hearing what he was here to learn about.

The Pyramid

Elec...tricity? While the concept wasn't completely foreign to him, the merman didn't have a very good understanding of it still. It wasn't exactly something he had ever used, only mentioned a few times, really. He stared in confusion at the others, trying to understand bit more about what they were saying. Robotics? Wait, someone had called these robots earlier...he still didn't fully understand. Neither did Akila, from what he could see. It was actually rather anxiety-inducing to see the level-headed girl showing even a brief glimpse of a less confident emotion. Shaking his head, Runo rose to his feet and took another look at the room. He didn't even know where to start, though. Maybe some of the partially finished robots had some sort of clue to them? A marking of some kind? Pushing off the wall, he walked over to a nearby husk and started examining it. How did this curious thing move, anyway?

The Pyramid

Runo leaned on the wall for support, but eventually slid back down to the floor to rest for a minute as Akila had suggested. From his position, he couldn't see quite as much as when he was standing, but could still see quite a bit of the room. It was still very strange to him, though; he was completely unfamiliar with the metal creatures whose parts were being stored in the room, so when Akila asked about how they were powered, he perked his ears and looked toward Shea for the answer. He couldn't help but be curious about this dry world.

Well, I think that I already wrote that Kyo entered already, so can we compromise by saying that they're just inside the front hall or something?

That's a good question. Kyo was following Katherin before Danny showed up, so I thought I put him inside the castle already, but I'm not entirely sure from the other end.
