Magician's Operation for Magic and Maladies

Appearance: Fluffy ice-blue hair and bright amber eyes. His default expression seems to be a scowl, and he's just a bit shorter than most humans his age. He gets defensive if people talk about his eyebrows. There's also a panel in his chest that can be opened. Name: Felice Age: "17…" Species: Cursed Doll Ability(-s): Doll Possession - Using a power similar to that which trapped him in his artificial body, Felice has the ability to possess dolls either for observation purposes or even to move them around. This takes up a lot of energy, though, and moving the dolls around through possession often requires that he shut down his body to do so. He can't stay for more than a couple of hours at most in another vessel, though he can remain linked for longer to observe. Personality: Oddly quiet, actually. When you actually manage to get him to talk, he's normally quite cynical and sarcastic. He's also the kind of person who would likely act rude, then try to make up for it anonymously later. He gets flustered whenever he's caught, though. It seems almost unnatural how little he speaks… He seems to practice a lot of performances in his spare time. Malady: "Felice's Doll Curse" - Val He's trapped in an artificial body, but that's not why he's here. Val found it to be a curious point of study, however, especially since it has some strings that can be pulled... Applicable Bio: Felice has been a hospital volunteer for a few weeks. He arrived around the time of another young patient's admittance and has been here ever since. Before he arrived here, he had a lot of experience in a performance troupe, but they disappeared under strange circumstances. Oddly enough, Val seems to be keeping an eye on him for now, and the boy can sometimes be seen running errands or performing tasks for him.

Appearance: Name: Topias Valtonen Age: "Not that old yet, Sir, Madam." Personality: Oddly cheery, and perhaps a bit eccentric, Val has been known to show up in the strangest places at very odd times. He almost always seems to perform with a smile, taking great pride in his work or at least appearing to tolerate it very well. He can be a bit odd at times, and has been known to sass others occasionally, but he's still a very hard worker. Position: "I perform here and there…" (Magic Ward Specialist) Applicable Bio: "I have been here for some time, I can't remember exactly how long… But it has been interesting, hasn't it?" Having been a part of this hospital for a while, Val has seen a lot of strange cases. Even as a specialist in the magic ward, exactly what he does is a bit tricky to pin down, as he seems to be a bit of a phantom at times. He does seem to have quite a bit of authority, however… Recently, he's been assigned the job of supervising the support group.

The Magiers Schwarzadler Hospital is an establishment that takes care of many kinds of people in many kinds of difficult situations. Unlike many other hospitals, though, this place was developed as a means to provide care for those a little different than most. Various kinds of people come through this hospital and rehabilitation center, some of them not even human or with characteristics different from most humans, and all for various reasons. Whether it's a physical ailment, a curse, or another sort of trouble, Magiers Hospital prides itself on providing excellent care wherever possible. In addition to the regular and magical hospital treatments, Magiers is also now offering a program that helps the younger patients get to know others like them while they are staying there. This new experimental program was said to have been implemented by a certain eccentric higher-up to assist in providing emotional support for young patients, but exactly what will be the result? And how much of this was really intended?

The Facilities/Staff

This medical centre, while maintaining many facilities similar to a normal hospital, also has a wing for cursed patients, accommodations for non-human patients, and a research centre. Various forms of healing are practiced and researched at this hospital, and it is in an area that grants plenty of private outside space for the use of larger creatures in rehabilitation. The staff is heavily varied in training, from dragon tamers to regular clinicians and even some mages and alchemists. No matter what the malady, Magiers is very well equipped to help get patients through it.

The New Program

Recently, one of the higher-ups announced the start of a program to bring the youths of the hospital together. Each day, after lunch, those enrolled in the program are to meet for some socialization and support group activities. The events vary from day to day, and there are usually three each day. At the end of each month, reports are sent in regarding the success of the group and the progress of the youths enrolled. Exactly what does it all mean, though?

Rules: 1. All Guild site rules apply here. 2. Do not attack other characters without permission. No auto-hits. 3. Do not control characters you did not submit a CS for in the Character tab. Ever. NPCs are fair game as long as they aren't currently in use by another player. 4. Please keep fighting to a minimum in the OOC. Discuss whatever you want otherwise. Unless it goes against site rules, of course. 5. I do have a story plot in mind unless I specifically say otherwise. If you have an idea for plot-related items, please message me. If you have any suggestions for anything, that can be posted in the OOC as well. 6. Please try to keep things at least PG-13, please. Romance beyond the kisses and cuddles should be taken to the PMs, and try not to overdo it with the gore if possible. I can actually feel it after a certain amount of detail, and it's not fun… 7. Chaos/destruction for no justifiable reason will be shut down. This is a hospital, treat it like one when possible. Don't kill off the NPCs, either. 8. Please try to keep your posts at least somewhat understandable. I'm not too picky, but if it can't be understood in some capacity, it will probably be ignored. 9. Please let me know if you won't be around for more than two days. I like to know that people are onboard before important things happen. Anyone gone for extended periods of time without warning may have to reintroduce their character. 10. If you leave the RP, please delete your CS from the Character tab. I'd like to keep track of who is here. 11. I reserve the right to change the rules as needed, and will let everyone know when this does happen in the OOC. 12. If I ask you to stop doing something, please stop. I will give explanations for things if necessary. 13. Feel free to message me with any questions, concerns, or ideas. I will be glad to hear from you.
