Mocha nodded in reply to Jade before following Zack out of the room. She wasn't sure what kinds of odd things to be looking for, but surely even she would be able to find something useful.
As she walked behind Zack, her ears perked up suddenly at the sound of another set of footsteps. "Someone's coming. They're pretty close already." Sure enough, there was the fox again a few moments later, and she stepped a bit further behind Zack again out of instinct. "H-hello again, I guess. Um...I thought you were working alone, though. D-did you change your mind about joining us?"

Hello! Nice to see you, eh?
I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.
I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

As soon as he exited the room, Runo had camouflaged himself just to be safe while he searched the nearby areas. He was sure that it might not be as useful against something that used scent or echolocation to track things, but he couldn't really imagine any of the metal beasts using a sense of smell. Echolocation might still have been a possibility, but he would just have to find a way to deal with that if it came up.
As he walked down the hall, he would occasionally stop as he neared another room and peer in to see what was there. Most of them just contained more pods, some empty while others contained curious and confusing creatures. None seemed to be active at the moment, but it was fascinating to see. Occasionally, he would stumble across a locked door instead, but he had no way of entering to find out what lay behind them.
A bit further down the hall, there was a room that stood out from the others, and appeared to be full of various machinery. Gears of various kinds and lights of many different colors immediately caught the merman's attention, and there were some signs here and there featuring symbols that didn't make very much sense to him. Walking slowly into the room, Runo carefully looked around to see if there was any clue what any of this was for. Maybe there was at least some kind of hint even he could understand in all this?
Sorry I haven't been doing much recently. I'll get a post up tonight.

I have been awful about updating this lately. I'm sorry for that, school only seems to get more busy. Still, I'm figuring things out and I should be finding time to get this done more often, so no more excuses for me!
Blue Doll
Actually, only the hair appears to be blue on this jester-inspired doll. The face is fairly normal-looking and maybe even a bit simplistically cute, if a bit pouty, though the eyes are made of some very brightly-colored material.
...In fact, isn't this likeness just a little bit familiar?

Kido took the chance to look around the room again, pausing and squinting at one of the mirrors for a moment before turning back to the candle. "I wonder what this place would look like all lit up. There's enough light to see by, but do the mirrors magnify the light in the candles? I bet that this room can get really bright."Bump...
