Aincrad - floor 50 - 1 year into the game

The game was halfway complete. But over a year had passed, and everybody who had it this far were becoming fewer in numbers, and becoming drained. A meeting between all of the front line players, and even some from the supporting guilds turned up. It was essentially a war meeting, in order to strategize every boss room assault, to reduce the number of casualties greatly.

Bachus stood near the outside of the gathering, cloaked up, listening somewhat. 'Karen' very rarely appeared for him anymore. He had begun to get over her death. Finally. They were talking about the use of shield groups with rushing groups alternatively. That could work he thought. It was also time for him to stop hiding in the shadows, and actually help complete this game. For Karen's sake. She died so he could live, and he wouldn't throw that chance away. He opened up his menu, and unequipped the cloak. It had been a while since he showed his face at any front liner meeting, perhaps since the 3rd or 4th floor, so he doubted any of the main players would recognize him anyway. "I agree." He grumbled in agreement with the plan, leaning on his large sword.
so yeah, i got into university.... 0.0
*crawls in*

Its been so long.
So I owe you an explanation.
Basically.... university application, studying, football, girlfriend.
Lots of stuff going on, and I've found myself really happy for the first time in forever, I kinda forgot about rping. I apologize. How are you all?
Lazarus was seriously going to master Jamie with his problem, until the guild hall door opened. Sasha had popped out as from nowhere. He hadn't seen his teammate for a whole 3 months, what with his absence. Maybe he should tell her what he had learned. No. That could wait. He brushed his new hairstyle through, hiding the piece of black fridge in his white do. He put on a beam and raised a hand to wave. "Yo." He chuckled. "Long time no see Sasha-chan."

Username: AeChaAppearance (anime): History: AeCha is an only child and didn't get along with people too well at school even though she took part in out of school activities she struggled to make friends in the real world. However, in the virtual world she had her guild, a group of friends with whom she would spend all her free time talking to and playing mmo's with; and these were all the friends she needed. Needles to say when 'Sword art online' was announced she was extremely excited and she applied for the early access testing right away, sadly she didn't get into the beta but that just made her more excited for the big day when the game launched. After waiting hours in line and almost as long setting up the nerve-gear she was finally ready to slap you with a sea bass... I mean enter EincradPersonality: Some what cold and distant to people in the real world, seen as rather antisocial, however once she gets in game she is very kind and polite, generally a friendly person.Weapon: DaggerSkills: 1. Silence. That was it now. He took a few deep breaths, before taking a run up and kicking in the front door. Vernon, with his one arm, leaving only a small trail of blood behind him, ran through the streets. His manoeuvre gear now busted from the fall. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck..." He mumbled under his breath. Everytime he saw a titan, he took a turn, hoping he would find any of the remaining troops. He had taken one of his blades with him... just in case he had to... end it. He ran down a pretty wide street before seeing a 4 meter class. "Shit." He turned into an alleyway sharply before instantly regretting it. There was another titan down it. An 8 meter. He couldn't fight it, he didn't have the energy to run anymore. Tears dripped from his cheek as he gripped the blade in frustration. He raised it to his neck, hivered it there momentarily, before screaming out and throwing it at the titan. He couldn't kill himself. He didn't have it in him. Vernon was grasped a hold of by the humungous beast, and was raised to its mouth. He shut his eyes for the next part.

SLICE

Vernon looked up. He was still in the hand of the titan. But it was dead. He managed to force his way out of it hand, before struggling away and scrambling to his feet. There was nobody there but him. Out of the corner of his eye he saw a flew flutters of green. Vernon turned his head and finally his whole body. "Its.... its... you!" He bowed his head.

Jarred was still zipping across the city with the other recruits. He too, saw flutters of green from the corner of his eye, but whenever he turned his head, there was nothing there. It seemed as though they were being followed by something other than titans.
Vernon was one of Jarred good friends. And yes. He cried. Tears streamed down the side of his face, no matter how hard he tried to force them back. 'Please be alive Vernon. Please come back. He forced an angry determined look across his face. Even if Vernon was dead. He wouldn't let his death be in vain. He turned his gas on as much as he could in short burst, speeding forward, using his lines effectively to throw himself close and close to the wall. They weren't far away now, but danger was still imminent.

He felt a disturbance ahead of him, and by pure instinct, he pulled his wires down, instantly taking a lower path. Just as he did, the buildings either side of them were caved inwards, blocking the higher route. Call it luck, or instinct. Jarred avoided it. As the buildings toppled. Not one, but two abnormals came charge from either side, where each building had fallen. "Crap!" He croaked as he was forced to make a sharp left and then turn back on course. The two new titans were fast, and would chase them. He turned his head every so often to track their progress. The two abnormals were gaining on them at an alarming rate. As recruits, there was no way they could definitely dispatch them. It would take at least two of them to take down just one. They might have to split up. He thought to himself. Yes. It was the only way. He was about to call out the idea to split up, when he was stopped by a flash of silver. One of the jaws of the abnormals was now missing. "What... the fuck?" He didn't know what just happened. It was so fast.

Lahar was behind all of them, both swords draw, balancing on his wires between two buildings, between them and the titans. "GO!" He didn't even look at them. All he said... as a possible goodbye was 'go.' Jarred was disgusted. "Commander Leon no!!!!" He called out, but he was forced to continue on. As he turned his head, he murmured to himself. "Goodbye commander." Too many people that were important to him had died today. well no more.

Lahar was all alone now, hovering in front of the titans. He glared and bore his teeth a little. "You wont get past me. My recruits are behind me, and you aint' getting them." He growled. As one swung as huge hand him, he ran up its arm, detaching his wires before reaching his neck. "Hmph..." The titans he killed made his tally 99. "100." He drove his blade into its weak spot. The titan crumbled faster than he expected, and he didn't have time to use his wires before he fell with it. One impact he heard a load crack. There went his legs. He was in a kneeling position on the pavement, right in front of the other titan. 'is this where it ends? I'm ready. 100. I've done my part for humanity. Now it's your turn...... youngsters!' He braced himself, as the abnormal clamped its jaws around him, and swallowed him whole.

A daze. He was in a daze. Vernon's vision was blurred as he shook the dust from his head. He couldn't move, leant up against the wall. His entire body was coursing with pain, but he wasn't thinking about that. He only noticed his arm was missing after a minute or so. He made the decision to rip some uniform and make a tourniquet. It helped slow the blood flow a little. he used his blade in his remaining right arm to prop himself up. He looked outside the window. Titans. Everywhere. He sighed and sat back down. He'd have to wait for an opening. Even if he could get onto the street, he'd only be able to use one wire on the account of having one arm. So the titans might catch him. But he had no choice.
