I think that Sketcher does have some points and he should be allowed to voice his opinion, sometimes things get missed and then causes problems later on. When someone isn't challenged for possibly having over powered characters then that player sometimes starts to get an ego and then ruins rps for other people and starts fights. And Sketcher at least didn't resort to insults like Beta, so I say let the man speak his mind, and you guys need to take criticisms without getting pissed off

There is a strong, strong difference between making a clan strong and making a clan seem strong. Within the canon Senju and Uchiha were always the top-tier, always against each other. If one side hired Senju, the other side hired Uchiha because the results were always that close. No other clan was able to compare to them back in the day. Now I'm all for creativity and exercising the freedom to express your own unique ideas in what is meant to be an enjoyable environment for everyone, but I just do not understand why with the mention of Natsumi's potential you suddenly felt it necessary to put yourself on the level of Uchiha clan wise when they had only one equal. You're not the first person I've seen try to measure self-importance through clan greatness and use the deeds of the past to lift your character up into what you want to be considered 'threatening'. I've read a lot of templates. Everyone wants to be important. Everyone wants to be fast. Everyone wants to be noteworthy for something. I understand that need entirely. But I just do not think the deep roots of clan history need to be reworked so you feel like your character is worth more by comparing it to another clan of a more fearsome status. I understand why you're doing it, but I don't think you have to do this, and I wish you didn't do it, but if it's what you feel you need to do to bolster yourself to others, then it has to be that way I guess. I just talked to Sketch about this same issue and, Sketch I hope you're not mad I bring this up, he used his story not to present his character some sort of inner turmoil or something he had to cope with for the rest of his life, but he did it for a pursuit of power. He did it for a Mangekyou Sharingan entryway. Naruto roleplayers seem to have this deep, dark need to put power over characterization. Status over uniqueness. And I'm just telling everyone, not just you, that it doesn't have to always be this way.So I need to ask: Why was measuring your clan up to Uchiha status really necessary when your history beforehand was perfectly fine? And why was it only after we went over Natsumi's potential that you have done it? I think it might be because of exactly what I said above, but I can't speak for you, you're the only one who can do that.I'm not asking you to edit it (Pierce and I need to decide how important ones history is really worth to our immersion. I chewed someone else out for a history I didn't find sensible either. You know the one) but I'm asking you to be honest with me about this.

When it said that they rivaled the Uchiha, it was a very long time ago and the thirteenth leader was like the Madara of the clan. Today, the Turimora clan is not as strong as it use to be and they don't have to be as strong to be rivals with a clan, Naruto considered himself Sasuke's rival even though Sasuke was more powerful in the beginning of the show. I will refer to Oswald Spengler's civilization model, the Turimora had a golden age and it is long since gone, they are not weak but they aren't at their peak. I am being realistic with how societies can rise and fall over the course of centuries. The Uchiha also had grown weaker since they were all killed off, leaving only the strongest of them to survive. Like with the Uchiha, not every member of the Turimora are top class ninja and some are not that strong. My purpose was to give them an interesting history and make them be rivals with a top clan. Izari is strong but he is no where near the same level of power as the Thirteenth Leader.

Also the OP didn't specify what time period the empire took over and the Turimora joined the Mist Village over a century before Izari was born so it could still have the Bloody Mist. I just think that since this rp is an AU then we can bend somethings, like the Senju and the Uchiha being best of the best.

well I was trying to just bring some diversity to clan personalities, I mean should all the clans be good nature? that wouldn't sound very fun.

You guys aren't realizing that a Jinchuriki with Uchiha blood would only be about half as strong as the sum of it's parts, because BOTH controling the Tail Beast and the Sharingan take massive amounts of training and practice. They would need to spend at least twice the amount of time training, more because I don't think the two powers are quite compatible (From what I can tell the Kyubi hates Uchihas)

Uchihas are legendary for pulling off the extremely difficult task, i have no doubt that one would be able to master both the sharingan and the nine tails.

jokes aside, even without the EMS an Uchiha that is the host of the Nine Tails would still be incredibly powerful since not only would they have the sharingan which gives them great perception abilities, they would also have the Nine Tails incredible amounts of chakra and would be crazy strong.
