"Oh shut up and stop making things worse" Jack spat back at Linn when she responded to his question about the mission, and his eyes flashed a bright orange. She was just trying to make things worse and now she was trying to play apologetic but he wouldn't be fooled, if she can't take the heat then she should leave the kitchen, that's what Jack believed. All he knew was that he wasn't going to back down and let these jerks walk all over him, he would fight back if they tried anything.
He listened to Bruce ask how they were going to find the criminal they were looking for a and if they should split up, Jack replied, "We probably shouldn't split up otherwise the risk of being ambushed. Wherever this person is hiding, I could probably get there by burning through the walls."
Jack was hoping to get the chance to melt away walls during a mission sometime and now might be the one where he would get to do it. Now the only question was, could this team ever work together? Right now Jack was having a huge amount of doubt.

Personality: John is a very kind and just type of hero who believes that order and virtue come natural to people and it is greed, temptation having a lust for power is what causes humanity to commit evil acts. This however doesn't stop him from realizing that there evil people in the world and the galaxy as well. He has a big sense of adventure and loves traveling to distant worlds will not back down from a fight when he has no choice. John also has a good sense of humor and likes a good joke now and then.
Powers:
Environmental Constructs: This ability allows Star Striker to take elements from the environment that he is in and bend it to his will in the form of a construct. For example if he is in an arctic environment then he can create constructs of Ice, and if he is in a desert environment then he is able to create constructs out of sand. If he is in space then his constructs are made out of energy. He is not able to make constructs out of elements that are not presents in the environment that he is in and they are share the same weakness as the element they are made out of, so if his constructs are made out of ice then intense heat will make them melt. Also using his power too much can drain him of energy which will tire him out if he pushes himself too hard.
Protective Field: This power allows him to survive in space and protect him from ill effects in environments. It also allows him to breath while underwater and protects him from the high pressure. Like with his environmental constructs, keeping the energy field up can use up energy but it takes up a lot less energy. It can protect him from the brunt of attacks but if it takes too many hits then it will weaken and could break if he doesn't spend more energy to keep the field up.
Flight
Interstellar travel: This ability is only used to allow him to travel across the galaxy by powering his flight with cosmic energy, and is not safe to use a non traveling sort of way.
Equipment: two blaster pistols and few energy grenades
Skills/Special Abilities: really good understanding of an environment and fairly good in armed and unarmed combat.
Background: Born and raised in Texas, John's parents weren't super powered, which made him developing superpowers all the more shocking and was puzzled as to why it had happened. John had two dreams ever since he could remember and that was to be a superhero and to see the wonders of space. He got his wishes when he discovered that his powers allowed to create constructs out elements from the environment, and to fly as well as travel through space. His parent were very proud of him and John decided that he should take his special talents and use them to do good. After about a year since he began his career, John took a brake to go travel the galaxy and battle many wicked foes from the outer reaches of the galaxy. After many years of space adventures, john tries to divide his time evenly on earth and in outer space.

"You're shadow trick doesn't scare me, and I'm warning you, if you make any attack against I'm going to make my body so bright that your eyes won't be working properly for days" he said harshly to Cora as he sat back down in his seat. He didn't mind making challenges to the punks of this organization, it would probably keep them alive longer and make them learn proper discipline. Jack would have said something to Nathan but Ambrose told them to stop fighting so he stopped himself and just clenched his fists trying to keep them igniting as they began give off smoke.

Jack was also trying to calm himself down after almost being pushed over the edge because it wouldn't help the mission if he fried all of the electronics in the vehicle if he lost his temper.
