Why is Maximus still training when there's a possible threat heading straight to earth and everyone is ether monitoring or going to intercept it?
How can you play a Jedi knight without aliens? It would be like Harry Potter without Hogwarts.
so where would be a good place to start?

This, so much this. Marvel has done pretty well since Disney bought them out. Though while mostly in the film department, the only films that DC makes are Batman ones, while marvel has a much bigger cast to work with. To be fair, if DC didn't have batman, they'd be in much worse shape, as people don't care about superman as much as Batman on a global scale, and most people don't know or care about other heroes not featured in Justice League, DCAU was how a lot of people got into DC stuff. And he failed, simple as that. He wrote a female character, not a person, and thats why he failed. Write a character, and when your done, change all the hims to hers, hes to shes, and basically gender swap them, and you'll have a much stronger female character than most people saying "I'm making a strong female character". Bonus points if at the end of that gender swap you add some feminine traits, and thus have a true strong female character. Also we'd have far more female characters in stuff if the producers got it out of their head that only male 'strong' characters sell. Korra, Kim Possible, or MLP anyone? (and MLP makes more money than most other franchises nowadays.) Give it about 20 years when those old farts are out of the business and watch the equal rights boom. But thats enough of that, back to talking about the Bat credit card.

What you say applies to movies, not comic books, DC is dominating in every other medium besides movies.

I still don't understand your problem with Wonder Woman, she is completely different from Superman in terms of story and origin. Superman is an alien, Wonder Woman is a being given life by the Greek gods and is an amazon who are from Greek mythology. I don't know how you are saying she's a rip off, powers mean nothing, it is about origin and characteristics. Wonder Woman is very poular among girls and women, my girlfriend's mom loves her character and not too long ago I say a girl go crazy over her comics and merchandise. So I think it is ignorant to deny that Wonder Woman is probably one of the most influential female characters in fiction.

To be fair nobody really cared about the Avengers until Marvel made their movies. Same for the Guardians of the Galaxy.Warner Bros has to get its head out of its ass and start taking risks, along with not aping Marvel's style, and people will start to appreciate the DC properties.

DC is doing Batman V Superman and they have announced nine other movies one of which is coming the exact same year as BVS, many speculate it is the Justice League movie since it has been claimed that they are filming both films back to back.

I think the way it's going to go down is humans vs. elves, both as particularly nasty empires, with the end goal of forming a resistance group and taking down one or both.

you didn't answer my question

Fair enough on the kyrpton things, that makes sense now, but that was also probably a retcon because the writers saw the same thing I did and had to fix that up. :PWW is not a good female role model, thats just something DC shoves down your throat to try to get the feminists off their backs (Black Canary is a better one imo, usually anyway...). True female role models are pretty much every character in My Little Pony, Friendship is Magic. Shes an OK one, but not the best, not by a long shot, Especially if Miller writes her, but then miller is sorta eeeeh anyway so that doesn't count against her. And of course while she has gone against 'gods', Superman could just as easily fight them and beat them far quicker than she can while taking less damage and having far more varied ways of taking them out. If she could say, punch ghosts, while superman couldn't, that would be different, but as far as I'm aware, thats not the case and why WW is an inferior superman, same powers, but less of them and with her same powers being worse in all regards than supermans, except DCAU where she was equally as strong.Dunno what they changed in new 52, I sorta got bored with DC comics around the release of DCAU's Justice League and I've been sticking more with Marvel after that since they had deadpool.

Marvel hasn't really done anything very interesting since the 90s, DC has been great since the death of superman story line. DC knows how to do crossover story lines, Marvel is totally cluttered and confusing. Not to mention I hate what Marvel has done to the x-men and have gone overboard with the avengers being in almost everyone of their titles. DC has the better stories and don't constantly turn out one crossover after another, DC actually builds up to it and has an aftermath. Seriously read Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and you'll see that DC destroys marvel in story lines. Marvel has some good single hero titles but their team comic have been sub par for a long time.

also Wonder Woman's creator literally said that he created her because he believed that there should a superhero role model for girls.
While john was flying, his attention was drawn to a fire at a drugstore and he quickly flew in the direction of the store. He soon landed down and spoke to MeChip.

"Crone please notify the authorities of this fire and tell them that there are bodies hung all over the building" he told the MeChip.

"Sure thing boss" Crone replied. John looked around and saw Jack. guessing that he was a hero, John ran up to him and said.

"I'm good guy, do you know what happened here?" he asked the hero.

Back from IRL stuffs. So, Superman arguments, yay. DCAU was his best incarnation, agreed. He wasn't super OP in that one, and was pretty much a better WW with more powers. (Which is why WW is such a bad hero, shes supposed to be 'the trio', yet shes literally a worse superman in all her powers minus the lasso, which you can lie through anyway by saying vague things. And of course her personality outside of DCAU isn't that great.) And why was an advanced scientific race with superpowers adn the ability to fly into space on their own power, not smart enough to put on space suits and fly into space before the planet blew up, or even let the planet blow up in the first place? And since superman sometimes doesn't need oxygen, that logically means they wouldn't need oxygen too, so how does a planet blowing up wipe them out anyway? So many contradictions. At least batman can go one on one with superman and win 100% if he wants, hes smart enough to make a kyrptonite aerosol. And for marvel, those guys are usually villains, and usually arc villains at that.

are you aware that krptonians need yellow sunlight to have any of the powers? Krypton's sun was red and when any kryptonian is under red sunlight they are no different than a human. Also in many incarnation, the kryptonians abandoned space exploration out of fear and gave up on space travel, also no one believed Jor El when he told them that the planet was doomed. Also Wonder Woman is a very great hero, she is the biggest fictional role model for girls and women. She can kick a lot of ass, she's gone toe to toe with Ares and several other godlike beings. Again your argument sounds like you didn't even read a single comic book and are stating incorrect facts
