has anyone seen the animated DC movie Superman vs The Elite?
Hot Rod listened to Light when she asked what the plan was, and he had to think for a moment. These villains that they were about to face may probably be among the worst of the metahuman villains, which meant that they most certainly could not fool around. Ideas raced through his mind and he tried to figure out what was the best course of action. His mind eventually came upon an idea that may in fact work.

"I've got one, we need to hit these guys as quick and as hard as possible without killing them, before they can react at their full potential. I have my speed and fire power, we also need some heavy muscle as well as another person who can do range attacks for cover," he said looking to each of his teammates, hoping that in their set of powers they had the abilities that would be useful in the fight they were about start.
Ocean warrior grunted in pain when Locust lashed out and gave him a deep cut across his cheek. The force of this blow was strong enough to knock him away from the terrible beast and let get of his shoulder with his pincer. But thankfully Pariah had managed to take down the creature and now was ordering them to help the wounded citizens and retrieve the defeated criminals. Ocean Warrior went about doing just that and helped a family who were very shaken from ordeal out of the restaurant and to an ambulance. For his first day as a member of the League, he hoped that he had done his duty well and would continue to do better with his heroics.

I seem to be one of those adults that kind of likes the 'kid' aspect in some of my movies. Sure, some of my favourite films tend to be things like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels or Predator, but sometimes I'd rather the feeling of childlike wonder and amazement from a comic book movie. If I wanted death, despair and reality I'd just watch Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones. Then again, to each their own. The new Flash series, though? I am ALL about that!A lot of the reason I didn't like Man of Steel also comes down to the whole No Kryptonite thing, though. Superman has always been a character who could hold his breath in space as long as he wanted. Making air his weakness just rubbed me the wrong way. They kept saying they wanted more 'realism' and then took away a weakness to radioactive materials and kept the laser eyes. It made about as much sense to me as casting Goku as Moody Teen Gohan in Dragon Ball: Evolution.

I have read superman comics and he has serious since he was rebooted in the 80a, and man of steel wasn't moody, the movie was about Clark Kent finding his place in the world and discovering his identity. Also comic book movies don't have to be silly, it's called having variety and if DC doesn't do things differently then it gets repetitive.

Movie wise? Marvel all the way. The stick a little closer to the source material. The whole 'gritty re-imagining' thing is getting kind of old with me and I *really* didn't like Man of Steel. I feel like they keep trying to make DC movies that are set in a parallel universe we haven't been introduced to before. If they're gonna do that, just call it 'Superman: Earth 56' or something.Other than that, don't know much about Black Adam, but I do know Dwane's acting abilities and I'll say this: I'd rather he play an anti-hero in a DC movie then back when he was playing the Scorpion King.

I loved Man of Steel and would take it over any of the Marvel origin movies. Also it was not gritty, it was serous but most definitely not dark and gritty. we've had way too many silly comicbook movies,I say make it dark and show that comic books are more than just for kids.

I don't really like the idea of having Johnson in the role. It could be good if he used a different style than what I know him to perform, but I don't really see him being someone who'd inspire. FearMy illusory Constantine seems to be changing into a mystically knowledgable Rorschach.

most of the fans are excited and incredibly happy that he is Black Adam. I think he is going to own this role and the fact that he has said that he is an anti hero means that we are going to get a very in depth Black Adam, which in my opinion will be a relief from so many cliche Marvel villains. DC knows how to make great movie villains.
I am interested in having the Prankster become a threat in the rp
everybody, it is official, Dwayne Johnson is going to play Black Adam in the upcoming Shazam movie

thanks
will the Prankster appear in the rp soon? I think he has potential to cause some crazy mayhem and be a cool villain
