Powers -Thanks to the demonic ritual which allowed him to harness his spiritual energy, Tom can see and communicate with spirits of all kinds. he is able to transform himself into a spirit and use their powers such as moving stuff with spiritual energy, flying and phasing through solid objects. he also has the ability shoot beams of spiritual energy which is known as spirit fire and can only harm beings with a soul but he can barely use this ability. all of his abilities stem from being able to control and manipulate spiritual energy that have big reserves in his body. His spiritual energy replenishes itself by gradually absorbing energy from the spirits of all living things and nature.

Weaknesses - his powers become weaker if he is within very close proximity to iron, and he has very little defense against powerful rituals that affect ghost. also since his abilities require spiritual energy to use and Tom only has finite reserves of it, if he spends too much energy on his abilities without waiting for them to replenish then eventually he will run out and his powers begin to feed on his life force which will eventually kill him if he continues to use them while his reserves are empty. Staying intangible for any lengthy periods of time can cost him a lot of energy and even tough he is untouchable he not is protected from mental, supernatural and magical attacks.

Personality - kind, outgoing, lighthearted, determined and loyal.
Appearance - he is about 6 foot 2 in height and is very well built for his age. he has neck length red hair. his costume is a red and black spandex jumpsuit with red on the lower half and black on the top half. on the chest of area of his costume is a red P, and he wears red gloves. when he is in in costume his eyes glow a bright red.

BRIEF Bio - Tom was born to an average family and for most of his childhood he was your average kid, playing with friends and going to school. but when he was sixteen one of his friends asked him to come to an abandon home wear some kids were having a party that would be away from the watching eye of their parents and the authorities. Tom had a feeling like something was off but he could understand so he agreed to go and his friend gave him the address and time the party would be happening. when the night of the party came and he went to the abandoned home, he was horrified to find that instead of it being a party with teenagers, it was an occult gathering. the cult leaders grabbed him before he could run, and he learned that his friend had been a junior member of the cult. they brought him before the cult leader and the man informed him that he was chosen vessel that would house the mighty spirit of Ragulhu do to him having unusually powerful reserves of spiritual energy, an ancient and powerful evil entity that was imprisoned in the otherworld. they placed him on a stone table with demonic carvings on it, and began the ritual which would strip away my soul and replace with the ancient demon. luckily for Tom the first stages of the process channeled the entity's power inside of him and when it mixed with his energy reserves he felt incredible power course through him, his powers were awakened and he found that he could use all the powers of a spirit. he used them to brake free from the ritual and escape the cult. he didn't fight because he still had almost no knowledge of how to use his powers. after that night, Tom could see and communicate with the dead. at first it scared him, but he soon became use to it, and he had to since he was still afraid that the cult would come after him and they most definitely knew where he lived. from then on he knew that he would have to master his new powers and use them to fight against the evils of this world and the next and thus was born the hero known as Phantom. today he still fights many battles against evil supernatural forces.

The only physical abnormality that Avery bares is the entirety of his eyes are a deep royal purple that flares whenever he is channeling his abilities.BRIEF Bio - Born to a devout Christian family Avery was cherished, this was until his powers developed. Upon summoning a tendril of darkness during kindtergarten his parents believed him to be possessed and who could blame them, he was a monster. Avery was transferred to an orphanage where he spent a week before 'the men in white coats' came for him. For several years Avery was subject to several cruel experiments to test the extent of his power. One day during a particularly brutal experiment Avery lashed out destroying the entire facility with a mass of extradimensional tendrils. Now that Avery's escaped he's a wanted man for the destruction of the facility and won't be able to get his ultimate wish to just be left alone. On the run and trying to clear his name the newspapers have taken to calling him 'Eldritch'Notes - Although he is essentially a villain at the moment he may have a change of heart if someone were to set him on the right track.

I usually draw the line at about 3 or powers w/o subsets. Bite - Accepted.Quasi - Accepted.Yog - You left the "moving stuff with spiritual energy" and that still goes beyond the 4 powers. Change that and it's accepted....and with that I'm gonna have to close recruiting for now. Nariata go ahead and just PM me a CS and we'll talk more.
