Powers - super strength, flight and energy manipulation
Weaknesses - his main weakness is magic, uranium can slowly take away his powers and if he uses his energy manipulation for too long it can put a strain on his body.
Appearance - he is six feet and two inches tall, and has bright red hair. his costume is more simple and very much like casual clothing. he wears red cargo pains and a blue t-shirt with a white five pointed star on the chest area. he also wears an American flag cape and an American flag style Converse shoes. to hide his secret identity, he wears a blue eye mask.
BRIEF Bio: Project Cadmus has been known for practicing many researches and experiments in advanced genetics. Some of these experiments have turned out badly and created many terrible threats against innocent people. One of the few good successes by Cadmus was the creation of Superboy, the clone of Superman. But before they could use their subject to do their will, he escaped and went on to be his own hero. Which is why they decided to create another superhuman, and that superhuman was Thomas. This time they didn't use the DNA of Superman, instead they used the DNA of an humanoid alien with super strength and the ability to control energy including the ability to use the energy around its body to fly.
the combination of its DNA and that of a regular human was a complete success, and Thomas was created. after he was created, the people at Cadmus trained him on how to use his powers. They educated him on the state of the world and about the groups of costumed heroes who fought against threat to the United State of America and the world. They told him that he would become a champion of America and be a symbol of hope for the American people. After many years training at Cadmus, his creators gave him a name, Thomas Roosevelt, both names of two famous US presidents. After that they allowed him to pick his costume which was a more casual appearance in comparison to other heroes, but what made it stand out was his cape that had the same color design of the American flag. he took the name Patriot as hero identity and swore an oath to protect the American people and his country.
when they allowed him to go out into the world as America's new superhero, they instructed him to try and befriend Superman because he too was an alien with incredible power like the one that had provided the DNA to help create Thomas. if he wanted to befriend Superman then he would have to go to metropolis and do acts of heroism to get the hero's attention. he did so and the Man of Steel was impressed by his skill and decided to mentor him.
Thomas was excited to be trained by one of the greatest heroes that the world had ever seen, and he was ready to show the villainy of the world what he was made of. after he was chosen to be sponsored by Superman, Cadmus reminded Thomas that his first priority is America and its people. and so to the Superheroes and American public, Thomas was Patriot the youthful hero that loved his country, but they do not know of his origins at Cadmus. even though he wasn't telling him the truth about his past, Thomas still believes himself to be a great hero and wants to do all he can to help people.
