"they probably would do that" Isaak said laughing when Verlin talked about the pets probably complaining about them while they were in their classes, and followed her into the Charms classroom. they were right on time and Isaak was about to sit near the front when he noticed Verlin walk to take a seat near the back of the back of the class. for a moment Isaak contemplated whether or not to sit next to Verlin behind most of the students. He always liked sitting near the front since this was his favorite subject and it was easier for him to raise his hand when the teacher asked a question and get called on to answer it. but Isaak decided to stick with his friend and took a seat next to Verlin. although he was a little disappointed with not getting to sit near the front, Isaak was glad to have a friend be with in Charms.

he took out his Charms books and waited for the class to start. he remembered the stories about Mrs Weasely being the top student in most of her classes, which did show that muggleborns could be skilled witches and wizards, but then there was still the fact that she was a Gryffindor and a member of his house's rival. maybe someday Hogwarts would hire a Slytherin to teach the class.

*giggles* DBZ is campy as all get out, though.

still it was a great show lol He-Man was incredibly campy but people still loved the cartoon, same with many 80's cartoons. i think we get to have a lot more variety in stories if we aren't picky about what's good and what isn't good. I like reading dark stories, but i don't mind having a laugh when reading my comics, and the more diverse in stories and themes you get with the genre then the more people will like the comic book. me personally, i would pick any magical based or space based hero over characters like Batman and Ironman any day because i like the sense of escape and wonder that comes with magic and space adventures. for me, unless the hero has superpowers or fights aliens and demons and has adventures on a different world, I will not like it as much as stories about characters like Green Lantern.

Never seen one second of it, wouldn't know anything about someone dying and coming back to life. Don't know a single character on the show. I don't dislike it, I don't like it, I don't have any feelings at all about it.

if i was a DBZ fan, i would have shouted heresy lol

Which is why I don't have anything to do with them.Ultimate is just a retarded version of the original that should be cancelled with all Ultimate characters dying. He never was perfect, a perfect version would have stopped every criminal permanently during their first crime before anyone died.So he went from being a big dumb brute to being a big dumber brute beat by a child. That is just hilarious.Seen it. God Hal sucked in it. Vic Stone was a brat, loved his father though even though he was a dick to his son.I would chop my arm off to keep away from kids on my personal time. I have to see and hear them enough at work to last a life time.I love that guy, my favorite scene in any movie ever.If you are willing to give me the graphic novels for free then I will gladly read them, but as long as the comic book industry supports lying about death they will not get one penny from me.I have seen an intelligent Superman do that from an Earth where all or virtually all Super villains were lobotomized by Superman and the Justice League took over the planet. Now he was a Superman I could love.

you must really dislike DBZ as well right?

That is the exact reason why I don't read comics, if Superman was dead he would still be dead. Death is permanent, if it is not permanent it ain't death. I will not support anything that doesn't support permanent death. There is only one exception I will ever make, Phil Coulson from the MCU.Not going to happen, see aboveI don't think he is dull, I think he is a modern day neanderthal. If he is intelligent enough to create robots that are capable of nearly perfectly mimicking him while he is away. Then he is intelligent enough to not be a blunt object when a scalpel is needed, and everything I seen he is the bluntest object ever created.

your comment about Coulson tells me that you don't read comics, if you're going to judge something without ever reading it, then it makes criticizing characters pointless because then your basis will lack knowledge. also i don't get your point of calling Superman blunt, if you're saying he's not smart or not complex then you really need to read more about the character before making statements about calling him a neanderthal. just so you know, tons of Marvel characters have been brought back to life after death, it is done in many fictional stories and not just comics. also not all heroes who die come back to life, hell most of the Green Lantern Corps members who die never come back unless there is a change in continuity.

The only death that has ever stuck in mainstream comics and not been retconned to my knowledge... Is Spider-man's uncle Ben. ~KL~

Jor-El has stayed dead for all of DC's main continuity

I like Zatanna's outfit sometimes. As a person I only know her from the cartoons and she seemed alright. Magic imo is lame, and most of the time in fiction like comic books is way to overpowered. Heroes are not supposed to be overpowered, they must overcome not just breeze past it like it was some school boy. Why should I root for someone who can blow a thousand men away with a few words?Which is also why I find Superman to be extremely disgusting.

I think you just need to read the right stories, Superman has been challenged many times, not just on a physical level but also on a mental and moral level. the highest selling comic in history was the one where Superman died fighting Doomsday. Magic is just as powerful as any superpower, just read Justice League Dark or any of DC's great supernatural comic series and you'll see why magic is very popular in the DC universe. also Superman is weak against magic which means that if someone hit him with a killing curse then he would die. if you look at Superman's weaknesses, he is not that powerful because his weaknesses balance out his great feats. if you think Superman is a dull character then just watch Superman vs The Elite, that movie really shows how relevant and necessary Superman is to our society. I also highly recommended you read All Star Superman and Superman Red Son, those comics show that Superman is an amazing character. the fact that Superman is still around after 75 years shows how great and iconic of a character he is.
My character is a Togorian and they are canon, there was a padawan survivor of Order 66 who was a Togorian, here's a link

I never cared for the Magic based heroees

you don't like Zatanna or John Constantine? I really enjoy the Justice League Dark comic series with all of the supernatural heroes. me personally, I love magic based heroes, it makes the genre more open to people who are more into fantasy than Sci-fi.

I really hope Guillermo del Toro makes his Justice League Dark movie.

*can't stop laughing* Wow. Why don't they like him?

Guy was basically the bad boy of the Green Lanterns and also had a pretty bad temper and a don't F with me attitude. this fan art kind of sums up his character lol

I've never liked Guy Gardner as a character. Give me back the old Kyle Rayner!

Kyle is my least favorite of the big four, for me he doesn't bring a personality dynamic like the others. I like Guy because he has a hardcore don't screw with attitude. I like John because of how his incredible skill with a ring are explained, and I like Hal because he has a interesting origin story and he has a funny personality in the recent line of comics.
