i think we all can agree that Cartoon Network has really become screwed up over the last decade
Thomas laughed at Jin's joke, and replied, "i would like to point out that a helicopter can not take hits from super strength villains without bursting into a burning inferno, and a crane lacks mobility."

he went back to the area where the couch came from and put back where had got it from. he then put the refrigerator back in the kitchen. he walked back over to the others, and said "i do have one last trick to show"

the lights in the room began to flicker as he drew in electricity and his hands began to spark and crackle with electrical energy. he then pointed his hands towards a punching bag and fired a blast of electricity at it. the blast hit the practicing equipment and blew it apart with a loud boom. he looked at his work and was glad that he had kept the blast at low power levels otherwise he could have caused some serious damage.

"i could made it much more powerful but i don't want to destroy this room so i kept it at very low levels. i can manipulate energy and it really comes in handy when you're fighting villains Parasite and Metallo" he said with a smile. he normally didn't really care much for showing off, but he had to prove himself an asset to the team.

he then saw Shock enter room and introduced herself. when he heard talk about them showing off, Thomas replied, "sorry about that, i just sometimes like to show off my powers. i think we're still waiting for the rest of the team to get here."

I loved the first Teen Titans show. Teen Titans Go is an abomination. Didn't help that the toys were garbage, I got toys in the 90s were better. Are there even any Teen Titans Go show?

i have no idea if Go has toys yet. even if Young Justice had good toys, people wouldn't have bought it, most teens and adults only buy toys for nostalgic purposes when a show is incredibly famous like say Thunder Cats or Ninja Turtles. if the show is new then the likely hood of older viewers buying the toys are low. the funny thing is, it would have cost Cartoon Network much less money to make T-shirts as merchandise for the show and would have made much more money since i see comic book related clothing worn by people daily. that is the sad thing about it all, it would have been so easy to make money off of other types of merchandise, but Cartoon Network is incredibly short sighted and obviously doesn't really care about attracting a diverse audience. also another problem was that it was aired at poor times. if i was in control at cartoon network i would have aired the show in the evening time before Adult Swim.

Dude. That scene was awesome... Totally emotionally driven. *sigh* I never had a chance to get into Young Justice. I was always working when the new episodes were coming on.

well you can watch it on the internet, the episodes are on sites that also stream anime.

And yet it failed to all intelligent DC fans displeasure. Only to be replaced with that garbage Teen Titans Go.

a lot of DC fans loved the show, the only fans i saw who didn't like the show was the Teen Titans fans. also it got canceled because it didn't sell enough toys. the creators of the show said it almost doesn't matter if a show gets watched at all, all that matters is how much the toys sell, and since the show was being watched by mostly teens and adults, it would have made more sense to make clothing and other types of merchandise that adults and teenagers will buy instead of toys, but Cartoon Network is really not as smart as they use to be
this scene really sells Young Justice as being one of the best comic book TV shows out there
"my name is Patriot, and my costume is a symbol of my pride in being an American. i am the type of hero that stands proud in front of people to show them what good people can do" Thomas said to Jin. he was kind of annoyed at being called by a joke name.

when she asked him what he could do, Thomas smirked and replied, "just watch"

he took off into the air and began to fly around the room at very fast speeds, causing his cape to flow behind. after about twelve laps around the room, Thomas landed back down in front Jin. he then walked over to the couch in the lunge area and picked it with one hand with great ease. he then went over the refrigerator in the kitchen and with his free hand, he stacked the appliance on top of the couch. he walked back over to jin, smiling as he held up the couch and refrigerator with one hand.

"what do you think of that" he said smiling, it was very easy to hold the two objects with his strength.

he then noticed Fate enter the room, and hang around near the entrance.

"hay fate, get over here and give us a demonstration" he called over to the new wearer of the Doctor Fate mask.

I like fun stuff, with strong females. Stuff that doesn't become too heavy. I'm also a sucker for the best art... My era's the Timm/Diniverse, so...

in that case, Grant Morrison may not be the best suggestion since he can be very complex. i like to call him the J.R.R Token of DC comics in how complex in his stories are, but the JLA series does have some really great art in my opinion. the artwork for Kingdom Come is done in a watercolor style which i find to be really cool, and it almost reads like a religious story. as for strong females, all of the Justice League series have strong heroines. but if you're looking for a series with a mostly female cast then i would suggest Birds of Prey since that series stars Black Cannery and several other lesser known DC heroines, but i have only read the New 52 series and not the ones before it, but I've heard a lot of good things about them.

Hm... Are there any you can recommend to me? I've heard great things about Harley's series.

if you're talking about the New 52, me personally, i really enjoy the Justice League titles. there is Justice League, Justice League Dark, and Justice League of America. i haven't read Justice League 3000 yet so i can't give an opinion on it. Justice League is the series with all the main members. Justice League Dark is the team made up of supernatural and magical based heroes so the series focuses on magical and supernatural threats. the Justice League of America is a government funded league that is there as a contingency plan in case the main Justice League goes rogue. Martian Manhunter, Catwoman, Star Girl, Hawkman and Vibe are a part of the team.

the Suicide Squad series is pretty good and Harley Quin is a main character in that series. the Aquaman series is also really great and shows that Aquaman is an awesome hero. i also like the Green Lantern Corps series since it stars John Stewart and Guy Gardner and is set in space. I also heard that the Batman series by Scott Snyder is really good, and the Flash comic is good as well. I also enjoyed the Bird of Prey series.

if you're looking for suggestions for comics before the New 52 then my suggestion is to look for any series written by ether Grant Morrison or Geof Johns. Grant Morrison's JLA series is amazing, and all of Geoff John's Green Lantern stories are incredible. also check out Kingdom Come by Mark Waid, it is a story that is not part of the main continuity but it is a very great graphic novel. even though i have barely started reading them, the JSA series looks pretty good. there are more but these suggestions are all i can think of right now.

do you have any type of story preference? because it really all comes down to what type of story you're looking for.

I've heard awful things. Mostly because I dislike the character. The Killing Joke, Dark knight Returns, Doom Patrol are really good. Court of Owls is practically the only thing within New 52 worth reading.

i completely disagree. true there have been some sub par stories but i have really enjoyed a lot of the New 52 so far.
Thomas had spent the last two hours reading about Star City on the internet to get an idea of how what the city was really like on the inside since it was now the new location of their team. it came as a surprise to Thomas that they were moving the team to Star City, which had been home to now deceased Green Arrow, and he wondered why the league had chosen the city. to Thomas, it seemed more fitting for the team to operate outside of the cities that were home to the core members of the Justice League. he personally hoped that they would have relocated to Central City since the Flash had a great number of villains to battle against. Gotham City also came to mind, but that city seemed too gloomy and dark for Thomas's liking, but there were a great amount of villains to take down.

but regardless of the league's reasoning, he didn't argue against the orders and he also reported to Cadmus about his relocation. the research facility did not have any opposition to him and the team moving to Star City. they simply instructed him to give any new updates that seemed important, and he agreed. some would say that he was a Cadmus puppet if they found out about his ties to them, but Thomas didn't think of himself as one. they were the people who had created him and they intended him to be a force of good and hope to the American people especially in this time of national unrest. he was a symbol of youthful pride, hope and determination, he believed himself to be a hero and that's what mattered to him.

after doing some research on the criminal element of the city, he found that the city had a good amount of street level criminals like the ones in Gotham, and Thomas then thought that taking care of crime in the city would be easy. just then he heard the alarms go off which meant that there was a situation that required their heroic duties. he quickly grabbed his costume and changes into it, donning the red, white and blue colors of America. he then switched from his black shoes to his american flag style Converse sneakers. in order to move quicker, he flew into the main room and saw Orbit already there.

"What's going on?" he asked her, curious to find out if the heroine knew what had caused the alarms to go off.
