Bio

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to my profile page! The name's Zeratul2k though most people find that to be a mouthful and just call me Zera. I have been on the guild for quite a while, though I've had my hiatus periods due to writer's block, life drama or (last time I was gone) overworking. I don't do many RPs since I'm not a stable poster because of said job, preferring 1x1's where people are warned that I might only post once or twice a day some weeks, while others I pretty much reply within minutes of receiving a reply. I enjoy all things fantasy, sci-fi and modern, and am always willing to try out new things. I prefer to play males as my main, though, since I'm a guy, but I can play females too (but only when doubling). Oh, and smut, don't forget the smut, though I also need lots of plot or I get bored pretty easily. And last but not least, send me a message if you have an idea you want to play out!

Ryuu Takashi opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling. He had fallen asleep again and in The Council's room, to boot. He leaned forward, straightening the chair and rubbing his face and eyes with his hands before looking at the clock, noticing that he had slept through class. He sighed and shook his head, before standing up and going to the window, looking down onto the school grounds. The NPCs were just starting to leave towards the cafeteria and dorms, though one could hear a yell everyone now and then coming from the nearby soccer field, so he figured there was a match going on.

It was the same thing every day. The routine was only broken by people like him, from The Council, or by The Blacks and that was the way he preferred it. This routine bored him. He had woken up one night near the school's cafeteria, remembering nothing about himself. Eventually, a person found him, a girl, who explained all to him before she mysteriously disappeared. No, scratch that, there was nothing mysterious about it. They were dead and she had passed on, end of the story. He had decided to use his time exploring what different kind of things he could do and now, a long time after he had stopped keeping track of time, had gotten to be the student council's president. Of course, things weren't always very school like, as demonstrated by the Sig Sauer P229 sitting on top of his desk, something he had made himself to get an edge over The Blacks, along with many different other kinds of weapons. An advantage of the afterlife, as he saw it, was that one couldn't die twice. He smiled, took the pistol from the desk, checked the chamber to make sure it was loaded, then put it on safe and placed it on his shoulder holster before putting his school jacket on, hiding the gun from view. "Time to do some work, then." He said with a smile, heading out of the room to meet up with the rest of the members of The Council.
You're all accepted so far, and as we've reached critical mass, I'll have the IC up in a couple hours.
Here's my own:

Name: Ryuu Takashi
Age: 17
Affiliation: The Council
Appearance:
Jason stared in amazement and curiosity at what Warden did to the door, thinking hard about just how it could be possible, and the possibilities she held. He smiled and walked in after the females, looking back at Marcus. "Full of surprises, isn't she?" He said with a smile before stopping next to Warden and patting her head. "Good job, Warden." He said before walking up to the captain's chair and taking a look around. "They left in a hurry..." He said as he sat down, noticing the mug on the arm of the chair, full of now cold coffee. He started typing commands, trying to get at the captain's log or some other log that would give them any hindsight on what happened. In the background, though, he was also checking the status of the ship, to see if they would be able to maneuver it.
Okay, here's the OOC, knock yourselves out!

You are dead.

Or at least your character(s) are.

You wake up one day in the afterlife, a place that looks, smells, feels, sounds and even tastes the same as the real world, except for a few key differences that you wouldn't notice unless you were the kind of person that is either wrong in the head or is just plain unlucky. The most important of those differences is, you can't die. If you're hurt or "die" while in the afterlife, you simply return to life a few hours later, all in one piece. Another different thing is that almost anything can be built from almost anything else, including mere dirt. That way, you could build toys, computers, guns, cars or even Saturn V rockets, as long as you know the inner workings of what you're trying to build. In other words, if you want to make things from dirt, you need some expertise. But enough of that. This RP is based off from the anime Angel Beats! so we'll be using that as the source material, not the light novels or manga (because I haven't read those and I'm the GM).

If you have any questions, feel free to ask away! Also, post your CS here for approval before posting on the IC. The CS format is as follows:

Name:
Age: (School age only, everyone that gets to the afterworld couldn't live out their youthful days, explained on episode 9)
Appearance: (Preferably a picture or drawing or something along those lines)
Affiliation: (In case they have been in the afterlife for a while now. Initially there will be two factions: The Blacks (a school gang) and The Council (acting as the school council, but in reality just another gang). Little difference between the two, except that members of The Council act prim and proper during the day (think Angel/Tachibana Kanade and Naoi Ayato))

And that's it! I prefer not to include any personality and biography sections as those would be better fleshed out during the game itself, and what they regret (a requisite to stay in the afterworld) is better to keep secret unless you want other characters to know it, too.

Anyway, a few notes and rules:

- No people that commited suicide (mentioned in episode 2)
- NPCs are very realistic and can be interacted with like any other human, but people in the gangs prefer not to since most that do end up passing on.
- The requisite for passing on is to get rid of what you died regretting.
- Here's a bird's eye view of the school, taken from episode 11: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxyCGfRve5KmZjdBQktKQU5lNXM/edit?usp=sharing

And that's that, for now... anything else I'll be letting you know. I'll start the IC as soon as we have 4 people or more (not counting myself).
So, this is how I'm picturing the shuttles to be, more or less, basically a militarized version of this:

Ace smiled and nodded, standing up after Wrenchie and Nafi. "Yeah, let's get going." He said with a nod after the captain had dismissed them. He followed Wrenchie and Nafi towards the hangar room, and though he had wanted to stick around for a while longer and introduce himself to dragon girl, as he had nicknamed her. Not that he would ever call her that, the last thing he wanted was to get eaten by a dragon. It would be quite an interesting thing to have on one's tombstone, though: "Here lies Jason 'Ace' Lee, eaten by a dragon in the prime of his life." He thought with a shake of his head.

He caught up with Wrenchie and Nafi, matching their pace as they headed for the hangar. "It's nice to finally be able to meet both of you." He said, looking at both of them for a moment. "The ship's navigational computer was a complete disaster, so I hardly had any time to leave the cockpit while reprogramming it and making sure it wouldn't do anything stupid..." He said with a sigh. He wasn't lying, of course, but that was only from his point of view. Sure, the maneuvers he had programmed to replace the standard, by-the-book ones were very unorthodox, but with them he was able to both make the ship maneuver faster and not produce as much heat from the engines while doing so, meaning they would be a harder target to lock into, if they were careful.

As they reached the hangar Ace walked towards one of the two shuttles, taking a quick look around before taking a screwdriver and tapping the canards. "This has to go, along with the wings and those vertical stabilizers." He said as he pointed the tool at the different parts of the ship. "Of course, the vector thrusters have to keep working so I can fly the thing, so let's be careful with those, please." He added with a grin, heading to the cockpit to load up the flying program and make a few necessary changes to it.
Yes, there will be, but I'm putting together an idea for that.
Okay, I'm halfway done with the anime, so I'll create the OOC by tonight so that we can start making the characters. We'll follow the OPs idea and have none of the original characters, so keep that in mind, please.
