Character stolen.
Saber... no. EL CID awoke.

"What have I been doing?", she mumbled as she rubbed her head, her voice now possessed of a masculine-sounding Spanish lilt. That's right, the summoning! The passage from the throne might have knocked some memories loose, but everything was back together now. She was Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar! El Campeador! The greatest knight in all of Spain, loafing around on some girl's couch while her nation cried out in anguish!

El Cid stood ramrod straight in the center of the room. Eyes sharp and filled with terrible purpose, she snatched a pen from a nearby holder and a piece of scratch paper, writing with quick, even strokes and placing it on the couch. Satisfied, she marched out the door, leaving a note upon which was written:

I must go.

My people need me.

It was time for El Cid to commandeer a boat and return the Spanish Empire to its former glory. First stop: Brazil!
Alright, Hantu Kongtek can have Seyrun.
I'll take El Cid.
I'm claiming Seyrun.
Does this mean Musashi can be a real Saber now?
"I said you should look both ways before you cross the street! Are you topsiders blind and deaf now?"

That's good, Proco! Keep sounding indignant. Nobody wants to argue with an indignant person. It's how mama got papa to be her husband!

"I'll have you know this apparatus is probably worth more than your whole net value- er, or at least it will be, once I've smoothed out all the issues. You're just lucky it didn't get dinged up bumping into you- n-not that it could!"

She slapped her hands on the saucer's chassis for emphasis.

"I'll have you know this here marvel of engineering is the Octo Slug Mark One! It's got integrated repulsors in the top and bottom of the disk to keep it level under any conditions! The outer shell is sanded giant clam, cemented together with hagfish glue that can withstand the pressure of the deepest ocean trench! Under the hood, it's got 300 seahorsepower, more than enough to outrace any one of your dumb land-horses! The face carries a force-projector apparatus that can stun a dire eel at fifty paces! It has cupholders!"

For emphasis, she pounded her hand again on the saucer, popping open a hidden hatch to reveal a small compartment containing a ring, within which sat a half-full glass of some brownish opaque substance.

"See? Even with that crash just now, my milk tea is only half-spilled! That's engineering, buddy!"

Proco puffed out her chest pridefully, a smug sort of expression plastered across her face. It seemed she had already forgotten that she was supposed to be arguing about something.
I'm just curious as to why you want to join a game based on a show you didn't enjoy enough to see all the way through all for the sake of attempting to change it and make it into something it isn't instead of just finding something you already like. You don't see me coming into RWBY games and trying to change things, do you?
You can accuse me of being hostile all you like, but that is not a substitute for an answer.
So essentially what you're saying is you could power through and even enjoy the unholy shitheap that was RWBY for three seasons, but you can't watch this for one?
And "failing to do it justice"? Can you really say that when you yourself didn't even make an effort to see the whole setting? How do you plan to "fix" this, exactly?
So you saw a couple episodes of the show and you didn't like them. Why are you in a game about a thing you've barely seen and didn't enjoy?

Also, your sig and avatar are both RWBY stuff, so I assume you're a fan. This is somewhat unrelated, but I gotta say I'm having trouble understanding why someone who dislikes CGI would watch a show that's nothing but CGI, which is exactly what RWBY is.
