The Doctor was coughing. He gets up, he knew he should try and eat something. He wasn't even hungry though. He goes and looks in the kitchen to see what he can eat. He looked pale. He didn't want Rose to have to do everything for him.
"Yeah I am used to her."
At least he was sure he was used to Jackie.

Rose had fallen asleep on the chairs, utterly exhausted. She hadn't slept for weeks and it had finally taken its toll. She dreamed of terrible things, of the Doctor dying, she not being able to save him.

Rose awoke with a cry, tears streaming down her face. She curled up on the chair and sobbed, uninhibited now that she knew the Doctor wasn't in the room. She had to find a way to cure him.

The Doctor found some soup, He ate a small bowl of it and then went back to Rose. He saw she was upset. He wrapped his arms around her. He knew she was worried. He coughed. "Hey... I'll be ok, you cant do much for me, This just needs to run its course and I'll recover."
He tried to comfort her. He leaned back.
Jack was outside and seemed to be shoting at some Daleks, He saw the TARDIS, He seemed to get excited.

Rose heard the sounds of Daleks. "Exterminate! Exterminate!" "Daleks in Cardiff?" She asked, bewildered. She got up carefully and ran to the TARDIS doors. "Jack?" She opened the TARDIS doors to see a relieved Jack Harkness running towards the TARDIS, trailed by a legion of Daleks.

Jack grinned seeing Rose "Ah Rose," He was glad to see her "I was hoping you were still travelling with him." he shots at the Daleks "Mmm that surprised? Thought you were used to crazy things like this."
The Doctor wobbled to his feet, He walked out "Jack." He rasped. He sees the Daleks. He knew he had left Jack behind on purpose, But he was still conflicted as Jack was his friend. He coughed and pulls out his sonic screwdriver.

Rose pulled Jack inside and shut the door on the Daleks. She was terribly worried. The Doctor was in no shape to fight Daleks. "It's good to see you, Jack." She gave him a hug.

Jack hugged her back as well. "Its good to see you." He smiled and looked at the Doctor, his smile fading. "Are you alright Doctor?" He said. He had never seen the Doctor sick. He was a bit worried.
"I'm sick." The DOctor said. He was coughing a bit. He suddenly rushed to bathroom. He Though coughed and retched and didn't throw up. He was very pale. He closed his eyes. His head was hurting, he shivered.

Rose stood in the middle of the console room, distressed. She honestly didn't know what to do. The Doctor was so ill, it seemed it pained him to move, and.. she couldn't help. She hugged Jack again, hoping for some form of comfort even though Jack couldn't know how helpless she felt.

The Doctor coughed, He was in the bathroom for a long time before he finally threw up. He soon passed out hitting the ground hard. He looked really pale. JAck was looking at her, he knew she was worried.
"I'm sure he will be ok, I have never seen him sick, but I am sure hes tough." JAck wasn't sure if that would help. " He really doesn't look good , and normally he does" He couldn't help himself.

Rose was truly beginning to get worried. The Doctor had been in the bathroom for a while. "I'm going to check on him." She ran off into the corridor, to where she thought the bathroom to be. Thankfully, this time, the rooms stayed the same. "Doctor?" She queried, softly knocking on the door. "Are- are you all right?" Upon hearing no answer, she opened the door. "Oh my god," She stated. She fell to her knees beside him. "D-Doctor, Doctor!" He had to be alright. How could she have been so stupid? "Doctor!" She quavered, petrified. She leaned her head against his chest, hoping against hope that he was alright. His hearts were both beating, fluttering, struggling to stay alive. He couldn't die. No. "D-Doctor! Please, no. Y-you can't!" She struggled to get him up off the floor. She only felt it now, but he was so very thin. "No, please, no. You'll be okay! Please don't die!" She collapsed onto the floor beside the Doctor, overcome with sobs.

The Doctor was laying there, he seemed very pale. Jack came in and sees her upset. "Oh no." he helped her get the Doctor to his bed. "I am surprised he's been moving around if hes this ill." Jack replied.
He hoped that the Doctor was ok too. "Do you want me to stay?" He could see Rose was upset. He knew she would probably need help. He also knew she probably couldn't cope and look after the Doctor by herself.
The Doctor was weak and he slowly opened his eyes. He was getting weaker again.

"Yes please stay, Jack." Rose requested blankly. She sniffled. "Here, help me." She attempted to move the Doctor off of the floor and with Jack's help, carried him out to the console room, which was thankfully easy to find. They sat him down across the chairs. "I'll, I'll make some soup." Rose said, distraught and feeling horribly useless. She walked in a blind trance to the kitchen, where she stumbled to find the ingredients for the soup.

The Doctor knew there would be up and down points. He guessed this was going to be one of the horribly down points of the illness. He knew Rose was panicked, He coughed a bit and closed his eyes.
He shivered and moaned a bit.
Jack goes to help Rose find the stuff for the soup seeing she is distraught and upset.

With the help of Jack, Rose finished the soup and brought it out to the Doctor. Rose knew the Doctor couldn't eat right now, but he needed to. She unsteadily walked over to the chair and sat down, holding the soup in her hands.

The Doctor was shivering and he curled up. He saw Rose with soup. He wasn't hungry and he closed his eyes. "I'm ok Rose." he coughed. He takes his soup and smiled. He knows she is worried about him not eating.
JAck just sits down and thinks.

Rose sat next to the Doctor, worried out of her mind. She had to do something to help him. But what could she do? Was he going to die? These questions swirled round and round her head until they were almost too much to bear.

The Doctor tries to eat what he can. Hes not very hungry. He has a bad fever still. "Rose... I will be ok." He closed his eyes a bit. He seemed to be shaking a bit still. He was unsure if Rose would stop worrying.
Jack was looking at them.

Rose smiled wanly at the Doctor, face then falling into a blank expression. She ran her fingers through the Doctor's hair absentmindedly.

The Doctor was coughing and he held his chest. He groaned in pain. He seemed to be sweating and pale. He was curled up in his blankets. He sniffed and grabbed a tissue. He sneezed badly " Ugh Rose."
