IRC stuff has nothing to do about the site getting an update beyond mahz lurking there and probably reading every single comment and question about when the site get another update/maintenance.

There is a glitch on the main page that says post that are hours old (site is still counting how many hours old.), but, if you go to the subscribed things, you seem them updated, except for what is showing on the front page. Meaning... Delay on main page?
