Those who have yet to post their character sheets have until the end of the day tomorrow to do so. I'll be accepting characters from the ones posted and starting the IC after that time. The RP will be closed when the player characters are abducted, so if you need another day to get your character(s) to me after tomorrow night it should be fine, just let know.

I haven't rped in a while so I apologise for how sub-par this is.

Appearance:
David stands at 5'11 with dark brown hair and green eyes. While not exactly muscular he's in pretty good shape. He's normally in rather casual clothing and doesn't show much care towards his appearance. Long days and many nights with very little sleep have given him a sort of disheveled look that makes him always look depressed, countering his normal Enthusiastic attitude.
Personality:
Upbeat and Driven with energy David likes to find new things. He's quite nearly obsessed with solving puzzles and trying to find answers. He loves learning new things, even trivial facts. His sense of humor is rather dry and he tends to be very sarcastic at times. David likes being active and always seeks for something to do. He tends to be very forceful and speaks his mind, regardless of the consequences. In that regard, he is quite socially reckless
History:
(You said you want to get an idea of how we write from our history. I'm not very good at doing that in apps and after not Rping in a while my apps tend to be less than satisfactory. If you want me to send you a writing sample via PM I can.)
Born in small town in Connecticut, David grew up as an only child and was pretty introverted. He was a lone wolf of sorts. He made many friends but spent most of his time doing his own thing, accomplishing his own goals and finding new things to do for himself. There really was no 'We' in his life, more of a you and me. Because of this he started spending a lot of time with machines and eventually got into coding simple games with small programs for making simple games. He loved the whole idea of it. Exploring and creating new things, even if very simple.
As he grew up, he became less of a social outcast, and instead of his normal small group of 3 or 4 friends David started exploring new things. There he found his second passion, adventure. Every summer he went somewhere knew. Hiking in the Alps, skiing in Whistler, kayaking, anything active really.
As he entered College David eventually rekindled his love for technology and ended up majoring in Computer Science. Fresh out of college, he is ready to take on the world full force.

Dr Fetus, the CS has what I asked for, which is all that matters right now. You can PM me a writing sample if you want to, as it won't hurt you in any way, but it isn't necessary.

Major Ursa, character block sucks. Oh well, good luck with your RPing. If you change your mind before tomorrow night the thread will be here.

If your first character is accepted, you will have until the first round of posting ends to submit as many additional characters as you wish. That'll probably be an extra day or so, depending on how long people take.

Also just a suggestion on if anyone DOES have trouble with additional character creation: I don't imagine it'd be too hard to just say they were keeping to themselves in the bunker or whatnot? Ideally everyone is all ready to go, though.

I've gone through and assigned some characters their powers, which you'll find out IC. We definitely have enough high school and college characters. If anyone is up for it, I think a younger girl character and some sort of teacher or professor character would round out the cast. No big deal if no one wants to though, I just think it would make sense given the place people were abducted from.

Not going to happen. The initial role call will involve everyone pretty much seeing everyone else's power.

Name: Shimmer Melinda Warrington
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Appearance: Shimmer is 5' 4", she has beautiful fire red hair. Her eyes are a star striking emerald green. She has pink pouty lips, and she has a scar on her hand from her child hood.
Personality: Just like her name, Shimmer is a bubbly, bright, social girl. She loves to have fun and she has a lot of friends in school. The only thing is, that she has a anger problem. One time a boy came up to her and pulled her hair, and lets just say she pulled something that he would never use again... on any girl. She never judges anyone at first, which makes her a bit naïve, but don't cross her or she'll probably kill you. But once your Shimmer's friend, she'll be loyal to you forever.
History: Shimmer was born into a well off family. The Warrington's had big businesses in New York; The Warrington Modeling Agency, Warrington Motors Inc., and her favorite Warrington Movie Topia. She was the rich girl in her high school. She didn't act like a brat, though some people judged her because of her name. Shimmer would rather live on a farm and have a normal life, then live in her families' complex. When Shimmer was younger her family took a trip to the California Zoo, she was a adventurous little girl... to adventurous for her own good. She slipped away from her parents and ran into the Lion's cage. She was playing with one of the cubs, when the mother lion came by and almost killed her. She got away because the Zookeeper came and got her, but she left with a bleeding hand from being scratched by the lioness. Someone was watching after her, she was meant for something special. After that day Shimmer would always run to danger not from it. Sometimes she thinks she's invincible, which can get her in loads of trouble. Now Shimmer's in her last year of high school, the head cheerleader, and the valedictorian, she has everything planned out. What could possibility go wrong?

Bottom Three Powers: Death, Shockwave (Don't know what that is, so wouldn't make sense), Vacuum.

Okay then, here. we. go! I would like the first round of posts just to be your characters going about their day, ending with them in or around the school complex. If there is a west-facing window where your character is when the clock strikes 10:16:03 AM, they should see the star falling towards them, though see might not be the right word since it would be shining brighter than the sun at that range. Even if your character isn't near a window, or one facing the other direction, they will likely notice the sky light up or the ground shaking. Your characters are 100% normal people at this point, so keep it real.
