....is getting started, since with zero posts, the default avatar, and no familiarity with the forum hierarchy you always feel like a gatecrasher worming your way into threads. At least, I hope that's something everyone feels and it's not just me.

Never successfully roleplayed before, since my social awkwardness transcends all boundaries and responding to an interest check in a timely and non-lame fashion is a Herculean task; getting into the roleplay begins and ends with the internal struggle of "should I post something about my character now, or would it interrupt their conversation?". Still, with seven years writing experience, a general understanding of the improv concept "yes, and....", and an affinity for everythign dark, twisted, or out-of-the-ordinary that rp has to offer, I would really like to get better at it.

So....hello and don't bite me, I guess?
