NaiSky watched Bering. It must hurt for him not be able to be in a cool temperature.
"Do you guys want to see others suffer? Is that what you want?" she said.
She looked at the lock on her cage and studied it. She chuckled a bit when she realized that they hadn't even sealed the lock. She unlocked the cage and silently pushed it open and got out, closing it behind her.
She swiftly ran over to where Bering was, looking for a way to cool down his cage.

Bering screamed, the heat had become too much for him, this was what every day and night was like for him, endless torture via heat. He kept slamming the door on his cage and against his hand restraints, exhausted, he stopped, his hair flopped down and he looked up at Nai "Even if you can unlock my cage, how will you get the hand restraints off? You should also know I can't control my powers sometimes, I could end up hurting any one of you" He said, weakly scratching at his restraints still.

"I'm not trying to get you out yet, it's too soon to help others escape." she said, still looking over the cage.
"Is there a way to cool down the cage?" she asked. "And if not any wires connected...?"

"T-there should be some wires at the back, but they'll only fix it again. Please, let me out, I hate the heat" He said weakly "I'll be taken for another test soon, I think it's going to be made by-" He suddenly stopped, just saying the words scared him, he gulped "The Black Angel" he shuddered. "We all know how cruel she is, please, cut the wires, get the restraints off, do anything, please, anything to help. I need to get in the cold, this heat is killing me."

She stared in amazement on how easy it was for Nai get out of her cage. She wondered, Maybe we can have freedom, maybe we can escape.

"Shhh, just calm down. You'll be out of here soon enough. You just have to survive a little longer, okay?" Nai said, trying to calm him down a bit. She walked around the the back of the cage where she found wires. "Ah ha..." she muttered. She looked over the wires, determining the right one to break. She choose one and broke it, and the heat automatically started cooling down a bit.
She walked around in front of him again. "There's a perk to the heat: it makes the metal softer." she said, she heard footsteps outside the door and rushed back to her cage and into it, closing the door behind her again and making sure the lock wasn't locked but it looked like it.

Bering was cooling down, but he was still panicking, the cage had trapped him all his life, he suddenly wanted out. He kept thrasing and thrashing, not realizing his ice had begun to spread into his restraints, the metal frosted over and became brittle. He looked down at this and seized his oppurtunity. He smashed down the restraints and watched them shatter. This was it, he was going to get out now, he looked up and only just noticed something that immediantly dashed his chances. A scientist had entered the room.

There were two guards by the door as well. The scientist was walking over to his cage. "How did you get out of those restraints?!" she said. She winked at him. "How?!"
Nai sighed with relief when she saw the scientist. It was one of the Escapees, thank god.

Bering slowly leaned forward and wispered "The heat's been cut off" and sat back and smiled, it felt so good for his hands to be free, but he also felt scared for the people around him, what if he accidently froze them? He tried to calm himself down, so slow the freezing " Are you here to take me to a test?" he asked, leaning his head back, getting the most of the 'comfort' he had because the cage was cool.

The scientist smiled, then her smile faded away as she continued her act. I'm so sorry... she mouthed out, before saying "Yes" and unlocking his cage. The two guards came over and put restraints on his wrists again. Then they started to escort him out. The scientist stayed behind though, and walked over to NaiSky's cage.
"When?" she asked.
"Soon. Very, very soon." NaiSky replied. "We mustn't be too hasty Kri."
"I know, I know, I just hate to see them like this."
"Just go, they'll be waiting for you. Stay strong." NaiSky said. And with that, the scientist walked off.

Chelsey knew that if we did not get out of here soon another test was coming and worst then the ones before. What did she have? A tail and ears, what was that going to help her do? She was determined to learn more about this Nai. Something wasn't right about her. Everything came to easy for her. " What are we going to do they are doing another test soon." She whispered to herself.

Bering tried to control his breathing, he didn't want this test to be like the last one, the last one continually blasted fire at him to see if he could take anymore, and the one before that, that was a Black Angel test. He shuddered just thinking about that one. "So, will I get to have my restraints off in this test? Do I get to meet anyone else?" He asked the guards, almost laughing as he did so, he wanted to use his powers, he wanted to feel the ice cold on his skin and he wanted to be free. He kept on walking forward with the guards and saw the scientist catch up with him and the guards.

Kri heard the question. "I do not know." she said. She suddenly put her hand to her earpiece. She stopped and a slight look of terror appeared on her face, but that only happened for a second and she continued walking. "Now I do. We'll be testing your aiming skills...on another test subject." Kri gulped and she called for 6 more guards and when they came, she headed back.
Nai heard more foot steps and looked up. 6 guards and Kri entered. Kri 'unlocked' her cage and pull her out, mouthing I'm so so so sorry...
It is fine! Don't panic. Nai mouthed back.
"What test is this going to be?" she asked.
Kri silently gulped. "You'll see." she said, making them hurry up and catch up to Bering and his guards.

Bering stayed silent. Not this. He didn't want to hurt anyone else, but he didn't want to go through the pain of the heat again. He roared, he roared again and again in protest of what was happening to him, his anger overwhelmed him, but so did the guards, he saw Nai being dragged towards him, "I-I'm sorry, I-I'm so sorry" he said as he put his head down, he tried to freeze the restraints again, but to no luck, they made them freezeproof. He began shaking as he was put into the test chamber.

Sariah watched as the guards took both of them away. With a sigh, she looked at the other two mutants trapped with her. She looked at the gate of her own cage, placing her hand on the steel to see if there was any imperfection she can take advantage of. Surely the material was weaker than theirs, but the girl was too weak to break through it herself.
"I wonder if they're coming back." she finally said out loud, trying hard to break through the silence left behind by Nai and Bering's departure. "It doesn't sound good at all.."

His tongue ran over his fangs, staring at the guards. A light shiver ran down his spine. He moved closer to the door of his cage, clutching onto the bars. He the said, his voice laced with an animalistic growl," too bad I can't reach their necks." He watched them, his eyes narrowed, mouth partially open. They smelled good. The mixed scent of the people around him from each of their mixture is what tended to keep him from trying to attack the others.

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Nai said, being shoved in after him. It was a huge room with all white walls, but Nai knew that there were windows behind those walls.
They unlocked his restraints before pushing him in.
"Start!" a voice over speakers.
Nai moved into the room and looked at Bering. "You heard them, go. It won't hurt me. " she said, spreading out her angel wings.
She transformed into her dragon self.

Bering fired ice spike after ice spike into the dragon, he spread his frost around the room unconciously, he tried to hit the legs and the arms at first, not wanting to damage her as a person, when he accidently fired one into the dragon's chest, he didn't notice and kept firing until he saw the dragon begin to flop down on the floor, he suddenly stopped firing and began to run over to see if she was still alive "KEEP FIRING" a voice screeched from the speaker, Bering said back "No." simply, and began to examine Nai, to see if she was alright.

"KEEP FIRING OR ELSE" the voice screamed.
Nai was breathing heavily. She turned back to her normal self and there was a small wound in her stomach. "Jeezus your strong. Dragon scales are supposed to be as tough as metal, but I felt those. And you hit my weak spot..." she said, before falling unconscious.

Bering scooped Nai up into his arms and said to the voice "She's fallen unconcious, she needs help! She's going to die!". He ran to the door to try and unlock it but to no avail, he controlled his breathing, so he wouldn't frost her over and kept her in his arms "LET US OUT!" he roared to the speakers, the whole sound must have reverberated through the building.

Patience opened the door where the experiments were kept. She had been assigned something that made her retch. She was to let Austin feed off him, but to make sure the other experiments were watching. She saunted down to his door and said "Hello, Austin."
